We sold and moved at 28 weeks last time! Definitely not the easiest to do pregnant! Seriously considering moving while I'm on mat leave or shortly after I go back to work this time to get closer to husbands job and reduce our mortgage outgoings so I could cut my days further, we will see though as don't really want to move away from both families and all our friends!

Afreshstartplease · 24/04/2016 13:21

I moved house four weeks before DC1 was born and at 20 weeks pregnant with DC2

Moving is awful

I'm not moving now unless somehow afford to buy a house or for some reason the landlord wants us out

Looking at my 12 week scan photo, I've just noticed quite a bright 'spot' around the groin area. Haven't actually paid attention to that before now! Does this make anyone else think it's a boy, or am I going completely down the wrong path? Don't really know much about nub theory etc!

FuzzyOwl · 24/04/2016 17:14

I would guess a girl pod based on the theory, but the nub isn't overly clear.

I'm guessing boy pod

I tend to look at the skull, my dd had a lovely round head, boys were more of a protruding forehead but off that theory this baby of mine is a girl but then that doesn't match my leg hair theory ..... hmm

Gigglebert · 24/04/2016 19:41

fresh what do you reckon to mine then? my guess is boy but purely as this pregnancy has been very different so far to my daughter! My sister is usually good at guessing but we got 4 different ultrasound photos and for 2 she guessed boy and the others girl!

ditsygal · 24/04/2016 20:18

giggle I would say boy, Pod I can't see a nub shown on yours so not sure!

Figgygal · 24/04/2016 20:24

Since we are sharing here's my 12 week scan.

I'm thinking boy

We're having another boy :) Had the Harmony so found out then.

Has anyone else been having mild crampy feeling and something almost like Braxton Hicks?

Afreshstartplease · 24/04/2016 20:41

I say girl figgy!

Figgygal · 24/04/2016 21:10

I really don't know what I'd do with a girl!! Funny because I was desperate for one before I had ds and took a while to get my head round having a boy

Afreshstartplease · 24/04/2016 21:12

You do most things the same!

My dd isn't particularly 'girly' because she has two older brothers

She likes rough and tumble and super heroes!

Kariana · 24/04/2016 21:13

Hello!
I have only just found my way to this area of the site and I'm pleased to meet fellow October due date mums! I'm due mid October so nearly 15 weeks now. I'm nervous, incredibly nauseous and horribly bloated! Everyone kept telling me the second trimester is when I would feel I was 'blooming'. How is everyone else feeling?

Northernlight22 · 25/04/2016 07:33

I'm shattered - I've done far too much walking this weekend and I've got back ache! Need an easy week this week.

SchnitzelvonKrummsverylowtum · 25/04/2016 07:49

I'm also shattered Northern, but due to non-sleeping DS rather than being too active.

I'm now at the really awkward stage (at 13+6) where my normal trousers and jeans still fit but get too uncomfortable when I'm sat down, but maternity stuff is too big. I've gone for wearing maternity - I can't face sitting at my desk for the best part of 10 hours today with my jeans digging in!

Haven't had chance to read back through the thread, hope everyone is doing good and starting to get that second trimester bloom!

pod100 · 25/04/2016 08:34

14+1 today and I'm now on an emergency mission to get some nice black jeans for work. The button on my normal ones really didn't want to fasten this morning. I have some maternity jeans but they're proper blue denim which I can't get away with, and I have some leggings but no long tops to go with them yet.

Literally had tears in my eyes at the thought of coming to work this morning. Just wanted to sit and chill out for a bit and leave the house when I was good and ready 😩

SchnitzelvonKrummsverylowtum · 25/04/2016 09:07

Pod I got some black and navy jeans from Jojo Maman Bebe on the weekend - they'll be fine for me for work unless I have customer meetings, in which case I'll have to find something smarter.

Fraggleface · 25/04/2016 09:32

I've just ordered my first pair of maternity jeans, as I've gone from a bit fat to a definite small bump in the last week, and I had to resort to the hair band trick yesterday. 17 weeks tomorrow!

We just came back from a week in Cyprus which was so nice, and I'm not back at work til weds. Im seeing the MW tomorrow and am going to tell her I'm still not sleeping well (even after a holiday and time off work). Work has been incredibly stressful recently, for various reasons, and they are being real twats about a lot of things. I'm dreading telling them I'm pregnant and am putting it off as long as possible and then plan to go on maternity as early as possible. I only get smp but I'd rather just take the hit for my own peace of mind. I won't be going back next year.

clank2 · 25/04/2016 14:11

Im 16 weeks now, had gender scan and its a boy! So exciting that I went out and bought some clothes! I am feeling huge, tummy has absolutely popped out...uterus is pretty much up to my belly button now, but above it has that rounded pregnant shape already, the only comfy things really are pyjamas lol! I had a good weekend, got lots done and definitely got more energy, compared to how I was feeling which was generally like I wanted to die this feels better, all that said, I am very tired and could so go for a nap right now but work does not allow! It honesty is concerning me how Im going to keep going for another 20 weeks as Im tired already. What I feel like I need is a warm holiday, swimming and relaxing...sigh...if only....

amy0211 · 25/04/2016 14:44

Figgygal · 25/04/2016 15:29

naomijd19 · 25/04/2016 20:29

Hey Grin

I'm 13+1, due 30th October, potential Halloween baby Wink

Anyone know much about the NT screening? At 12+4, got a measurement of 1.7mm? Had the bloods too, just anxiously awaiting the results.

Cannot wait for week 20 to find out the sex!!!
First pregnancy and I'm so excited! X

Naomi
