Welcome to another riveting instalment of TTC#1 grads.

We've got new grads POAS every day just to make sure, 1st Trimesters wondering if they will be hit by the dreaded morning sickness or not, those approaching the hollowed promised land of the second trimester where all is good and the glowing will prevail... Those who have reached the second trimester and are thoroughly miffed at the lack of glowing.
We have scan photos, bizarre symptoms and the joys of baby shopping, and very importantly we now have Stark!

All are welcome on the wild gas powered ride that is TTC#1 grads Grin

starky OH has never seen them and I keep telling him I refuse to marry him until he has! He fell asleep 15mins into the first one last night.

Sofa slug club is 100% where it's at today. OH has been to get me some haribo and some yogurts. He's now refusing to stay out with the lads longer than 2 hours because of how crappy I am today which is sweet but I need more time to watch my crap telly! His best mates wife is expecting in September just a few weeks before us and they keep getting wrong for talking babies when they're all out for the football.

Mileymoocow · 09/04/2016 13:49

I've found my craving.

Nice miley! I'm loving sausage rolls and pork pies at the moment, great for the waistline like.

Congrats on half way potato!

X

Pinklily1 · 09/04/2016 16:28

Hi ladies

Have had some crappy news (not baby related), so I'm a bit behind on the past few days of thread, but just wanted to say congratulations on the scan Planet - such a clear scan picture. And congrats on reaching half way Potato. Its good that you only have 10 weeks left at work!

BunchOfBobs · 09/04/2016 16:35

Congrats on20 weeks Potato that's me st 22 weeks today. And dare I say it the nursery is finished. Just got to plane sand and paint the door (tomorrow). Also in stupidly excited- Impy I think you may understand my excitement. I won my tripp trapp high chair on eBay today for £25!!!!

Congrats on the lovely scans ladies.

PotatosMum · 09/04/2016 16:36

Feef I feel your pain... I sometimes feel it would be better to move my bed into the bathroom Hmm

Miley nooooo, and you seemed to be recovering a bit Sad hopefully it's just a hiccup.

Yay for booking in next week Stark getting the ball rolling really does make it more real.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you are one of the lucky people who sail through pregnancy with hardly any symptoms... I've actually forgotten what it feels like to not feel vaguely nauseous Confused

Drove round the area we want to buy a house in today... We hated it Shock we do however like an area 5 minutes away so we're going to look there instead.
I finished getting everything I want from mums flat today, now I just need to get a house clearance firm to take everything left.
Now OH is currently cooking me steak... I have cream tea for lunch... My happiness may resolve around food Grin

So, so, so impatient to find out whether we're having a girl or a boy. OH is a bit of a clothes snob, he likes everyone to look presentable when they walk out the door... I have made it my life's work to sneak our child out wearing stripes and spots, or possibly a dinosaur costume Grin

PotatosMum · 09/04/2016 21:32

TMI but, when you ladies are constipated and trying to poop do you ever get lots of sparkly dancing lights in front of your eyes?
I'm not worried about it, it's actually quite pretty and probably blood pressure related but just wondered if I'm the only one. Grin

Peaches8Posies · 09/04/2016 21:48

Hope everyones enjoy their Saturday.

planet lovely scan, I say girl too ☺

miley hope it's just a bad day. And yeh for the doritos, salty sa our you things are doing it for me too ☺

potato hope the other areas better. And can completely empathise with wanting to know. At least your nearly at that point. As for the 'pushing', yes it's pressure related. Just be careful though too much and you can easily get piles, easy done when pregnant 😮 prune juice is a great fixer but if your like me it really makes me ill. But needs must and all that. OH the joys.....

Peaches8Posies · 09/04/2016 21:51

Savoury! Flaming tablet!

BunchOfBobs · 09/04/2016 23:02

Potato that was clearly a good decision to do the drive around then. Glad you have found an area you like.

I've had an eventful evening. Just got back from my midwife unit. pip has not been himself at all today. I've had less than 10 kicks all day and I usually get that in a sitting. It's too early to be put on the monitor so I went in for a workover with the midwife. Doppler, pee dip, bp, hr, long chat etc. The bloods I had taken last week in relation to my itching show some elevation of some sort so I have to go to hospital tomorrow or Monday depending on whether Pip had perked up overnight. He was moving once the Doppler was on but he's not his normal self and I've been get upset about it. Fingers crossed he's back to his dance parties tonight and I'm just going for another blood test tomorrow/Monday.

ElleSarcasmo · 10/04/2016 07:07

Bunch hope everything is ok and that the tests come back ok-thinking of you Flowers

Shelb have things settled down with you?

Lovely scan picture Planet!

Potato congratulations on reaching the halfway point!

Lisa hope next week is looking easier for you.

PotatosMum · 10/04/2016 07:09

Morning ladies, how are you today?

Lol Peach yes, I'm eager to not to get piles. I got them last time I went to France from eating too many bready things, they are not fun Sad

Oh no Bunch how worrying. I hope everything's alright. I worry so much when Potato is quiet and I'm not even at your stage yet. Hopefully he was just having a quiet day and he'll pick up again today.

I've woken up with a really bad back which I'm hoping will clear up soon as I need to get the flat ready for the photographer tomorrow, which involves some painting and trying to remove stains from the carpet. I really hope it sells at the open house in a couple of weeks.

I have a feeling this week will be glacial in its slowness because I want it to be Friday.

BunchOfBobs · 10/04/2016 07:50

Morning ladies,

Pip had a 5.30, 6.30 and is currently in a dance party so I'm feeling much happier. I also slept until 5.30 which is a huge improvement then my normal sleeping. Looks like it will just be bloods at the hospital Grin

IrregularCommentary · 10/04/2016 08:21

So pleased to hear that Bunch

Canters15 · 10/04/2016 08:26

Ooh I haven't been on here for a while! Had my scan yesterday at 7+5 and baby looks perfect with a good heartbeat, so am very happy now.

bunch glad pip is wriggling around again!

miley sorry the vomiting is back, sounds rubbish.

Mileymoocow · 10/04/2016 08:47

Morning all! Glad pip is back to dancing away bunch!

Went to bed at 8.30 last night as I was so tired, woke up at 1am with swollen glands, sore throat and ear ache Angry being sick isn't pleasant at all when your throat feels like it's been sliced with a razor blade! So I'm in a huff today and spending the whole day in bed!

leoniethelioness · 10/04/2016 09:07

Hope you're both OK, Miley and Bunch!

Good luck getting the flat ready, Potato!

After nearly a week sleeping on our mattress downstairs, I'm hoping the plaster has dried enough that we can sleep upstairs in our room again tonight. Fingers crossed!

shelbTa · 10/04/2016 09:12

Oh bunch how worrying. Does all feel normal still now? What is the itching? I ask as my legs are on FIRE itching all of a sudden these past few days.

Oh miley, you don't half cop for it! Can you eat today?

Hi everyone, trying to catch up on it all.

I've had a bit of a mood dip this weekend, hopefully it will snap back.

TMI TMI warning but - how are people's nips? I've got strange white stuff coming out of mine, i thought it was dry skin but now I'm not sure. Not sexy, pretty grim.

X

BunchOfBobs · 10/04/2016 09:24

Oh Miley that sounds horrific.

Shelb it's torso. All my bump boobs and back. Back can be the worst and it's almost unbearable at night time. I have an increased liver function something that I need to go get additional screening done. I have to phone the hospital in 5 mins to see what they say, eek.

Sounds like you might be leaking already, though colostrum is supposed to be yellowish.

shelbTa · 10/04/2016 09:27

Bloody hell, fingers crossed for you bunch. Let us know

X

Mileymoocow · 10/04/2016 09:44

Unfortunately not shelb, I'm not keeping anything down this morning. My nips are fine, but a little sore. I did have white stuff a day before I got my positive! I thought it was dry skin too, then I pulled it and it was like a creamy string of white. Haven't had anything since though.

Thanks leonie, I'm sure I'll survive after I've had a good whine! Fx you get back to a comfortable bed.

bunch hope all goes well for you! Let us know what happens

PotatosMum · 10/04/2016 10:08

Bunch glad pip is more himself Smile let us know how you get on with the hospital.

Oh Miley that does not sound good. I think you're right to say sod it and stay in bed.

Shelb no white stuff for me but my boobs are about the only part of me that is ignoring pregnancy as they're perfectly normal. Someone must have sent them a memo that I'm not breast feeding Confused

I have so much to do but haven't got out of bed yet... So tired and just want to be lazy.

Feefeefs · 10/04/2016 10:28

Glad to hear more dancing bunch.

Poor miley you're being put through the ringer!

"Morning" sickness is settling in here! Hunger is the enemy. Spoke with DH about being more supportive and he is being better which is a big comfort! He got a new job so understandably been occupying much of his attention.

PotatosMum · 10/04/2016 12:05

Aww Feef sorry morning sickness is hitting. It's a nightmare and you really do need to make sure you talk to your OH about what you're going through. I think it's easier for them to understand they need to look after you once you have a bump as they can see the cause of your exhaustion and discomfort. At the start you need to tell them and try to explain which is easier said than done.

Feefeefs · 10/04/2016 12:26

Thanks potatoes I think he's just still a bit confused about the whole thing! I've bought him a book "pregnancy for men" and we talked a bit more about it and booked the early scan, when he heard the woman on the phone describe the purpose ie. Look for heartbeat etc he was a bit shocked! I think he's coming around now! Morning sickness seems to be worse at night and I was hugging the toilet bowel last night which hit home a bit too!
