How are you ladies feeling about Ovia pregnancy? I have to admit, I don't like it anywhere near as much as I liked Ovia fertility. It seems to run very slow, the articles aren't that interesting and where as with fertility I logged in every day to input symptoms which gave me a sense of purpose, I don't feel any need to enter details into Ovia pregnancy and when I do I can't find an easy way of recalling them.
Anyway, I decided to test drive four other pregnancy apps. What to expect when you're expecting, baby centre, the bump and pregnancy+ and I thought I'd let you know what I think of them in case anyone else wants to stray
What to expect - I didn't really look at this one too hard. I signed up, logged in, read about two paragraphs of an article but then remembered how patronising and irritating the book was and had to delete the app before I threw my phone across the room.
Baby Centre was ok but a bit basic and not as user friendly as some of the others or as pretty. I think it was more geared towards people who use their website. I didn't bother keeping it on my phone.
The Bump was one of the better ones. I really liked the articles and q&a sections and it seems fairly easy to use. I've kept this one for now.
Pregnancy+ was by far and away the best app in my opinion. It's quite simply beautiful and very user friendly. It doesn't seem to have as many articles as the others but it does have renders of what your baby will look like now and real life scans. It also has weekly and daily articles about you and your baby etc. I'll definitely be keeping this one!
Have any of you tried any of these apps or others I haven't found? Would love to hear others opinions
