Hello ladies, made a new thread seeing as we have almost run out of room on the last one!

Jufin - Gap do some nice non-wired tshirt bras….not too pricey, bit of room for growth as really soft. Mmmmm scrambled eggs….

Beautician - every night I'm up to pee then takes ages to get back to sleep. Feel permanently tired and don't know if that's just how you feel at 10 wks pregnant or if it's broken sleep!

Cheery with my last pregnancy I couldn't sleep after going for a pee and I would be exhausted all day. This time I go straight back to sleep the minute I'm back in bed yet I'm even more tired this time around than last time. So I would say a lot of it is just pregnancy tiredness. It eases in the second trimester but often comes back in the third trimester I'm afraid.

Thanks Beautician - I think I'm going to struggle getting back to sleep in lead up to scan on Saturday! Excited but sooo nervous as this around the time I had mc last time. Trying to keep calm and think positive!

Just had my booking in appointment, was there for almost 2 hours but midwife was really nice. Lots of blood tests, my blood type is 0 neg so will need a jag later, also I'm at risk of diabetes due to my dad having type 2 so will need some tests for that. Carbon monoxide test was 1 which is apparently the lowest you can get but probably because I don't live in the city. Is there anyone still to have their booking in?

Mines Thursday I will be 9+4 so I'm hoping I can still have my scan around 12 but I think with Christmas I might be nearer 14

Hmmm, I would pop to the GP, Cookies, because it can probably be sorted easily and it sounds like it is causing you stress! You will feel better to do something about it :)

I've only got a downstairs bathroom too, Beautician, and it drives me mad getting up in the night for a pee! However after my painful experience of holding it too long the other night, I am now being very very very good at getting up when I need to!

I'm off to get my hair cut now and I'm very much looking forward to it, as I've looked like a bag of crap for weeks now. Of course, I had to wash and straighten my hair before the appointment (because it doesn't do to go to the hairdresser's looking like a fright), and now it looks lovely and I'm wondering why I'm going to get it all chopped off... Currently just below bra strap length and I think I'm going to go for a shoulder-length angled bob, bit like Clara in Doctor Who... Obviously then I will be disappointed that my face doesn't look like Clara's though....!!!!

Bluebell I had my hair chopped off about a month ago. It's really short. I don't like it so now I have to wait for it to grow back

I have a craving today. Pickled onions. I ordered them in the online shop and I've eaten about half the jar. Oops.

Back from our scan. All looked good, saw the heart beat flickering away and baby waving at us. Due date moved forward so now 13+0 (not 12+2 dated from LMP) will put on a pic later. Sonographer was a bit scary, very abrupt, the photos not great but didn't feel I could ask her to do it again!! Due date 21st of June but I'd like to hang around with you guys??

Kaytee my booking in was like 30 mins! Ticking boxes and bloods are done at the 12 week scan. Referral letter was only just sent on Sunday at the appointment so doubt they'll even have got it yet. So got a bit of a wait but I'm 11/12 after the festive period so they'll fast track me a bit hopefully!

Congrats to those who've had scans! 2 more days until my early scan, I need this!!! Trying to convice DH to take me out for dinner as I've felt so nauseous for the last three days I've eaten rubbish. Eased off a bit today though, although had it until I woke up this morning. Wonder if the pregnancy vitamins are making me feel sick at night when I take them

Had anybody had the stabbing pain when you get up too quickly yet? Read its normal but feels so sharp for a few seconds! Need to get up slower!

I have read about it although not experienced it yet so I cant say how painful it is, but dont worry Im sure its all normal sorry I havent been so talkative today, been so busy at work and fell asleep when I got back!

Mascara I keep a sharp pain down there when I sneeze , it's quite concerning but had it last pregnancy too !
Those with no sex drive , I'm sure it will come bk , my OH had bn working away but is bk now but still working late , we haven't dtd for ages and I'm starting to feel like it again , he's way to tired tho ( think that's what makes me want it more ) gona need to ty n pester him later , starting to feel like i don't appeal to him as much now I'm pregnant probs because I keep farting and snoring x

I can't really be arsed with sex either: we've only done it a couple of times since I found out I was pregnant!

Can't wait for my scan on Friday. Wish it would just be over!

Youandme, it's exactly that mixture of emotions with your scan - I want it now/I want it over with!

I'm so glad others have had the stabbing pain when standing up and when sneezing.It really scared me when it happened the other day. Congratulations to all who have had their scans. My SIL told me that a rounded tummy means a girl and a flat tummy means boy. Not sure how accurate it is fun to guess!

Has anyone else got at least a couple of weeks to go until their scan?

HI I'm a newbie, 8 + 4 so won't get a scan till January. Booked in on Monday. Feeling sick as a dog and soooooo tired. Lovely to see your scan pics. Due date is 22nd July

Has anyone else noticed brown patches on their stomach/chest?! I only notice last night Ive got it under where my bra goes and it follows the pattern my bra goes :L

Amazing scan picture jemima how clear. And exciting to be brought forward! Glad your scan went well becks and poo about the scary sonographer. Don't let it ruin it. Eek to your date being moved sooner too! Definitely still stick around ladies.
