I don't think there is a thread for the July moms yet!
I'm due on July 2nd, just 4.5wks at the mo, but feel like I've known for ages as got a positive 5 days early on an early response! No real symptoms so far just a bit of cramping and some instant extra weightHalloween Biscuit.
This is dc3 for us. Haven't made any appointments yet. Looking forward to the next 8 months!

RoTo72 · 14/11/2015 08:34

Doc never mentioned vt. Its a feeling I have myself. As have had really strong symptoms from word go. I mean I would only have been a week r so preg.

Jem01 · 14/11/2015 08:36

Thanks Ellizardo that would be great. I know nothing about Lewisham maternity care so would be great to hear your experiences. Not sure how to private message on here..

redstrawberries101 · 14/11/2015 09:25

Icomeundone - so sorry to hear you are going through this. Ofcourse we will be here to lean on! Just feel free to post anytime day or night :) am sure none of us will mind. I think keeping busy is definitely the key. But take it easy too. Chill in your pjs with some classic movies and get totally pampered.

Goto - sorry to hear also.

Reality is that no one really knows what's going on inside and we can only go on what we are told/extreme symptoms. It is really very tough to keep calm. I'm trying not to get obsessed and ahead of myself planning everything but just taking it one day at a time. Each day on is a day closer to the end goal. Each minute is!

Gx91 · 14/11/2015 09:38

Roto - 1 week symptoms could b a good indication , do twins run in ur family ? xx
Melavi - that's a good shout , I'm gona go buy myself some new jammies all the ones I have are looking clarty! Lol xx

wantingno2 · 14/11/2015 09:50

Good morning everyone.
so im extremely tired this morning kept myself awake trumping all night Shock does anyone else have lots of wind it's driving me mad and my boobs are a whole other story I've never had pain like it especially my nipples I can't stand to touch them even in the shower.

redstrawberries101 · 14/11/2015 09:54

Can anyone say if the symptoms are getting worse as the weeks pass? I've had nausea and sore boobs, dizzy spells since just before AF was due. I'm just wondering if it will get worse?

Will you buy maternity pyjamas? It's my first time so I have no idea what to do when I buy anything I need now.

wantingno2 · 14/11/2015 09:59

I just bought a few sizes bigger melvali so that they will stretch with me that's what I did last time then a bought maternity stuff at about 14 weeks as I was massive x

wantingno2 · 14/11/2015 09:59

ow and my symptoms are definitely getting stronger x

EllieJayJay · 14/11/2015 10:07

Culture so glad to hear from you was worried xx try and have a relaxing weekend xx

undone thinking if you too and as another poster said were all here for each other good, bad and indifferent X

Mel I brought a sleep bra yesterday from mothercare, it's amazing!! originally I was using pj tops from M&S with shelf support but not enough for these ever growing boobs! Sleep bra was amazing and about £20 I think for two.

They also had the jeans with the bump cover... Look amazing!!

Randomly lots of stripes too, I am refusing to wear stripes - it seems pregnant women are forced to wear stripes or spots

Gx91 · 14/11/2015 10:07

Yeh I bought pjs that would stretch too and my OH mum bought me stuff for my hospital bag with pjs included which was lovely ( with first pregnancy )

Wanting2no - Iv been more gassy than normal but don't wake up nding to lol normally just a big windy one in the morning haha Grin
OH not impressed lol xx

EllieJayJay · 14/11/2015 10:08

wanting Google mama Mio nipple cream - £12 Amazon best thing I've purchased so far! It's for use during breastfeeding really but it's stopped my nipples hurting completely - I posted a link few pages back

EllieJayJay · 14/11/2015 10:10

Gx91 · 14/11/2015 10:11

Ellie - good shout for maternity jeans , I was so Uncomfy last time round and thought I didn't look a very glamorous pregnant women in joggers and leggings ! Lol would always get my pjs bk on when I got home from anywhere xx

Ellizardo · 14/11/2015 10:17

Jem - just tried to private message you re Lewisham hospital. Let me know if it gets through.

Horrible to wake up to news in Paris. Hope, apart from the gas, that people have had a good night!

wantingno2 · 14/11/2015 10:20

Thanks ellie I'm going to get some today I can't cope with it its unbearable and the over the bump jeans and leggings are amazing gx91 I had them last time x

Loki17 · 14/11/2015 10:24

I had agonising boobs before my missed af and then they settled a bit. I had nausea two which settled but had since returned. Boobs are bigger and achy. I think symptoms do waiver so try not to worry if they do x

RoTo72 · 14/11/2015 10:26

Gx91 twins in oh family, both paternal and maternal. Oh was twin but other vanished. I'm adopted, so god knows what's in my genes!

wantingno2 · 14/11/2015 10:38

There unbearable my oh seems to think it's funny so now he's on a lifetime booby ban haha I never had this with my son x

redstrawberries101 · 14/11/2015 10:46

Sometimes if I nudge my boob by accident it's so painful! So defo off limits haha

wantingno2 · 14/11/2015 10:51

He's never touching them again for laughing at me the things we go through as women they get away Scott free sometimes I just want to punch him in the nuts so he can feel pain for abit lol can you tell I'm having a rant this morning haha I'm supposed to be cleaning

redstrawberries101 · 14/11/2015 11:04

Hahhaaha! I've done a bit of light pottering. Just having a little lie down before I shower. Later I need to clear out a drawer in my bedroom and tidy some clothes away.

RoTo72 · 14/11/2015 11:06

Wantingno2 many moons ago I was doing sociology A'level and as part of anthropology we studied a south American tribe, cant spell name. When the woman was in labour she lay underneath a tree and the father would lie on a rafter on the branches with a rope tied round his groin. Each time the woman has a contradiction she pulled hard on the rope so the man felt part of the birthing process. I bet if that was to happen worldwide the human race would die out. Lol.
