I second not wanting back to back labour omg. I had a posterior placenta with DD but ended up having back to back labour as she was a wriggly thing and changed her positions lots. They didn't even realise she was back to back till 36ish hours in! have started using a birthing ball at work/home already as I really really want to avoid having back to back again.
I've been attending pregnancy yoga for a few weeks now - go to two different classes as one is nearer my house but the teacher is a bit... erm... highly strung I guess? so the yoga is good but I prefer my other yoga teacher. unfortunately her dates/locations are a bit inconvenient for me so not going to all her classes, so topping up with the local class. I'm hoping doing lots of yoga + birthing ball will help with positioning with this baby!
I've also started doing some very light weight training with small dumbells as I realised my arms were getting flabby! Just do a bit of arm exercises when watching telly at night on my birthing ball. Re: weight gain, I'm still holding strong at 8 pounds ish gain from when I got my BFP (and 11 pounds gain from earlier in the year, as I put a bit of weight on before falling pregnant). Actually I seem to have lost a pound in the last week which I am pretty happy about as I think most of my weight gain has been fat from eating badly, and I've tried to eat a bit better in the past couple of weeks.
Nice bump Q! I'm even more massive than the last picture I posted
. Was incredibly depressing seeing DP's SIL post birth last weekend who put on basically no extra weight in pregnancy so looks almost completely normal two weeks post partum! Whereas I looked in the mirror and realised I have a bit of back fat (urgh!) now and my legs have gotten bigger. She was eating rice cakes for lunch whilst we all ate bread though so I think she is very careful with her diet, and tbh I'd rather be a bit tubby than not eat much. Still wish I could have the best of both worlds though!
Me and DP were talking about names last night.. I think Eleanor and Julia are two quite strong contenders. I feel a bit sad as I had become quite fixated on the name Eric for a boy, and now can't use it! Someone mentioned Edith and Audrey? I really like Edith but DP is not keen, so it's out. Audrey is quite nice, very classic name I would think though I probably think that as it's my step dads mum's name.
Phew, just realised I wrote out an essay post, sorry!
