So pissed off right now! Told DP to get to my office at ten to four as I work about 15 mins walk from hospital our appt is at quarter past and I wanted a leisurely walk there. We had a bit of an argument this morning as he told me to stop stressing about it as I checked with him several times that he was clear in needing to get to my office at ten to. Ten to four comes and no DP. I ring him and he says he's only just left his office (a 15 min walk from mine) as he lost track of the time! Ffs! Angry so now rushing to hospital by myself , I'll probably onlyvjust get there on time myself and he'll be late. I'm sure it'll be running late but sods law I'll have to go in on my own. He got so mad with me this morning as he said he wasn't going to be late and I should atop stressing blah blah. Argh absolutely fuming! And he's just rung me and has gone the wrong pissing way even though I told him the route I was going and everything. Angry

marmitemofo · 20/10/2015 16:07

Also apologies for atrocious typos as I'm walking practically running and typing at the same time...

Tonideanna123 · 20/10/2015 16:07

Tonideanna123 · 20/10/2015 16:11

Oh no marmite not good, try not to get too stressed out. He may make it to the hospital in time. Your get to see your bubba in a minute so everything will be fine Smile

xx

BeautifulLiar · 20/10/2015 16:13

Oh my god marmite that's annoyed me too!! I bet you will be much happier after your scan :)

TriJo · 20/10/2015 16:16

Get a bun tin, chop up some veg (or ham or cooked bacon if that's your thing too) and some cheese, mix up eggs, milk, salt and pepper like you were going to make scrambled egg or an omelette, put the veg and cheese into each slot in the bun tin and fill it up with the egg mix, then pop it all in the oven for around 20 minutes.

Tonideanna123 · 20/10/2015 16:20

Sounds good ok trijo thankyou I will have to try xx

LCR77 · 20/10/2015 16:25

Had scan on Fri and it's another girl. Think DP is pleased but was hoping for a bit more balance with a boy in the house. Haha he is destined to be overrun with females. He jokingly said we could try again for a boy. Not a chance...!

Problem is we're stuck on names for girls and had pretty much reached a consensus on boys. Last time DP was so rubbish at suggestions I got my own way. He's determined to be more involved this time. Harrumph!

Good luck the rest of you with your scans ladies.

ps. Toni don't worry about being hungry. I'm permanently starving and hunting out my next snack! It's par for the course for many of us!

RhubarbAndMustard · 20/10/2015 16:37

What was your boys name LCR? Maybe I can pinch off you!

Marmite I'm also annoyed for you. How frustrating! Hoping you're having a great scan now and DP got there in time.

I'm also hungry all the time, but going to make a concerted effort to not eat crap anymore as baby's tummy is on the big side. Thank you to whoever gave me the heads up on GD. I've checked it out and have had a few other symptoms so am definitely going to check in with the MW.

LCR77 · 20/10/2015 16:47

Boys names we were deciding between were Hugo and Sol (and a Welsh middle name Gwilym after my grandad and dad - but no one will want that!)

Tonideanna123 · 20/10/2015 16:49

I do try not to worry LCR but I just don't want to pile on the pounds, I want a healthy pregnancy and all the best for my baby.

Yes that's what im doing rhubarb trying not to eat as much crap and snacking on healthier things

xx

MyNameIsSuz · 20/10/2015 16:52

I'm fuming for you too marmite, my dh does that kind of thing all the time!

You can have all my boy names if you like rhubarb! I liked Tobias, Theodore, Hugo, Rufus, Jasper, Hector, Vincent. Only one dh liked was hector! Oh, and ds is Franklin, you can have that one too as it's ace.

Having said all along that boy names were harder, I think we're still going to struggle for girl names! We aren't poles apart but our favourites are different. I think we might end up going with Sylvie.

BeautifulLiar · 20/10/2015 16:57

Suz, mine does too! Last 20 week scan we were about to leave, but he wanted to "chat to his mum" who had come to watch the DC. He saw her all the time! I went ahead, then he literally rushed in just as my name was being called. No sense of urgency!! Love your boy names too.

LCR how many girls will you have? We'll have three and me of course. I'm still only 26 so DH is terrified about "when we all have synchronised cycles". Hahaha!

marmitemofo · 20/10/2015 17:05

Hello all, scan went well in the end! DP literally ran all the way from work so met me just as I got to the entrance a big sweaty mess and was extremely apologetic. I had screamed at him on the phone when he rang me so I apologized but he said not to which made me feel better and that it was completely his fault, very sorry blah blah. good thing he ran though as we had basically no waiting time before we were called in!

Anyway baby is healthy and its a GIRL!!! I was a little sad not to get a DS as I did want both but secretly think I've had a preference for a girl tbh as wanted a sister for DD. So very exciting! Grin

Tonideanna123 · 20/10/2015 17:07

Aww marmite im glad all went well and congratulations a little princess Smile. At least your partner realised and apologised in the end

xx

Rosieblossom123 · 20/10/2015 17:11

marmite congratulations on your baby girl :) I'm so jealous of all your well behaved babies letting you have a look at their private parts, why can't my baby do the same :(

RhubarbAndMustard · 20/10/2015 17:18

Congrats on both the girls today. Numbers are evening up! And I'm glad he apologised marmite.

Thanks for the name suggestions. Will put them all to DP.

LCR77 · 20/10/2015 17:25

Congrats marmite glad all went well. I'm quite pleased DD will be having a sister too (although she did request one morning of scan so good job)

It'll be just two girls beautiful but I'm pushing 40 so not planning on any more!

BeautifulLiar · 20/10/2015 17:26

Congrats marmite!! I love watching my girls together; they play for hours.

Rosie I've got a feeling my baby will be naughty tomorrow and we won't get a confirmation. Aahhh!!

ThePug · 20/10/2015 17:28

The girls are catching up! Congrats marmite - glad DH made it and was suitably apologetic.

suz Liking your names list; they're all my style but for one reason or another none of them would work for us. If we find out it's a boy on Friday, I'll need to pick your brains for more suggestions!

MyNameIsSuz · 20/10/2015 17:31

Yay, congratulations marmite!

And ThePug, I have plenty more, hope you get to find out on Friday!

Me624 · 20/10/2015 18:38

Congrats marmite and LCR on your girls! Today definitely a girly day.

Rosie I found out at my scan too that I have an anterior placenta, it's nothing to worry about and I doubt my sonographer would have told me if I hadn't asked. I just wanted to know as it is probably why I still haven't felt any movement yet so it's set my mind at rest.

BeautifulLiar · 20/10/2015 18:53

Oh yeh Rosie forgot to answer you earlier - anterior placentas are nothing to worry about, although apparently they make a back to back labour more likely Confused fuck...that! Also Audrey would be a middle name :)

ffauxlivia · 20/10/2015 18:58

I can't keep up with all these scans! But congrats to marmite and LCR - yay for more girls! And congrats to everyone for yesterday too!

I posted on the main thread as I don't know what to make of some pains I've been having, they are so uncomfortable and don't seem consistent with what I have read about round ligament pain. I am such a worrier though! Has anyone been having constant dull throbbing aches rather than stabby pains?

vroc81 · 20/10/2015 19:03

Congratulations on the girls LCR and marmite and marmite I am anticipating my OH doing exactly the same leaving work on Thursday and having to get a colleague to whizz me up the road!!

Also can't go back a page on phone to see who asked but I'm the same, just over 20 weeks and feeling bubbling and fluttering and then the odd more definate punt but they are still not very often or firm from the outside..
