Hopefully dobby fingers crossed for you. Aww congratulations sherazade , another little baby boy !!!
Aww that's great me624 and hello indomitable.

Aww exciting the pug good luck !! I've had no boob leakage either yet lol. Think I'm coming down with a cold/flu as well , feel like shit :(.

Congratulations TheMshipIsBack a little princess.

Hello vroc81 xx

TheMshipIsBack · 15/10/2015 08:55

Thanks Toni and everyone! I love the dinosaur suit btw, going to send that to MIL as a suggested baby present. None of the family are particularly pink or blue, and everyone loves dinosaurs and monsters. My DS (3y), his favourite jumper is a big fluffy pink hoodie with a 'monster' hood and big hearts on the pockets. He looks adorable in it, stomping around going RAAAAWWWWR.

There are some gorgeous boys clothes in John Lewis - lovely and bright and I like the Jools Oliver Little Bird stuff in Mothercare.

We should all buy the Dino outfit and take a pic of our baby in it and then I'll hide mine!

I will have to have a look at John Lewis paperblank Smile and the dino outfit would be funny lol !!

I know its going of subject but could anyone that has a child already recommended the best baby bottles to buy please ? Or either if its your first and you have heard some suggestions.

Thankyou xx

Missdee2014 · 15/10/2015 11:21

Best baby bottles I found were Dr Browns. A bit more expensive but very good. Though in general, avent and tommee tippee closer to nature are good too. I don't intend to buy bottles this time round in the hope I don't need them.

Gingerlady123 · 15/10/2015 11:37

congrats to everyone who had scans and yay some boys on here now id only heard of girls on here before hand.
hospital for me at 3pm today to check cervix is closed and babies heartbeat because i had some slight spotting yesterday

BeautifulLiar · 15/10/2015 11:43

Welcome Toni!

Congrats everyone on scans and finding out you're having little boys! So exciting.

Cucumber - me and DH are much better now thank you - he had this morning off work, took the DC to school/nursery and joined me at harvest festival! I know this is probably normal for most families but just never happens in our household so yay!

Ginger I hope everything's ok - you don't need any more stress!! Keep us posted.

Hayley - so glad you've finally got a scan date... mine is also on the 21st! :)

Gingerlady123 · 15/10/2015 11:50

Thank you.
I am sure it is but i did panic. It was bought on by an orgasm without penetration (embarrassed face here) but as i do my mind went into over load. second time ive had this now.
had to really push doctor to refer me he didn't see a need but i just couldn't have the uncertainty my mind says its either a low lying placenta or an incompetent cervix even though its unlikely to be any of those things.
He also refereed me for counselling for my worries. I really need some help to get it all under control. I feel so bad for my little girl as my body is just under so much stress cant imagine what its doing to her.

Beautiful- so glad your dh and you are better :)

I need a lie down for an hour all this worrying has induced a massive headache

RhubarbAndMustard · 15/10/2015 11:50

Hi Toni, I only ever used Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature bottles with DS and had no problems with them. I've stocked up on the same this time (and Tesco had a great offer on of 6 bottles for £10) a while ago.

Gingerlady123 · 15/10/2015 11:51

oh one more question how much will the cervix check hurt?
I'm also panicking about infection as after i started spotting i inserted a finger to see if i was bleeding a lot inside :( silly women I am

BeautifulLiar · 15/10/2015 12:05

Honestly Ginger don't panic. Some of the things I went through during previous pregnancies include being attacked, being arrested for defending myself from being attacked, being kept in the cells in a police station overnight, having no money, the baby's "father" abandoning us and getting a new girlfriend as I was in labour, my parents throwing me out of the house, having to start from scratch, DH being a twat by his own admission (he was very young, but still) and deciding to stay out all night drinking/taking drugs when I was 8 months pregnant, the list goes on. Realise I sound like Jeremy Kyle fodder here... I'm honestly not! And it's like thinking about a different person's life, not my own. But my point is that despite all that my babies were ok. I think counselling will be really helpful for you :)

BeautifulLiar · 15/10/2015 12:06

Don't worry about infection, either, I've had a feel of the cervix before Blush

Gingerlady123 · 15/10/2015 12:10

Thank you.
That sounds awful. Glad things are better for you now.
I have suffered with anxiety for over five years now. pregnancy has made it horrendous again though.
So glad i get to hear babies heartbeat again later all though nervous as when i rang the epu this morning they wouldn't see me but as i pushed for a doctor to refer me they are. I bet they won't like me much.

BeautifulLiar · 15/10/2015 12:18

I know, I hate feeling like an inconvenience. But their job is to make sure you and your baby are ok, so do not feel bad about going!

Gingerlady123 · 15/10/2015 12:22

Thank you.
I am sure its nothing but like i said as soon as i saw the blood i thought "omg low lying placenta" and "omg i have an incompetent cervix and ill go through labour early" even though i bet its just caused by the orgasm dislodging some old implantation blood in my womb as i had bleeding at four weeks as well.

I bet in March when this baby girl is born Ill think back to all this and regret the worrying. Why cant I just expect im a healthy 21 year old women who has no reason to worry over loosing her baby.

Tonideanna123 · 15/10/2015 12:37

Missdee2014 - Thankyou I will have to have a look at the dr browns as I haven't looked at them yet.

Gingerlady123- Good luck today, hopefully everythings ok. Ive also got hospital but for my 20 week scan today at half 2 Smile. So excited to see my little boy again !!

RhubarbAndMustard- Hello , yes that's the bottles ive been looking at Tommee Tippee closer to nature they look quite good and have a lot of deals going on around them at the moment

xx

BeautifulLiar · 15/10/2015 12:40

Good luck Toni! :) thinking of you.

Well Ginger this is why I think counselling will help you, so that you can enjoy being pregnant more :)

We set up the Next 2 Me crib last night (will pack away again until March) and it's quite good, not as good as I'd imagined though :(

Oh my god, I'm in love with Screme Eggs...

Tonideanna123 · 15/10/2015 12:53

BeautifulLiar- Thankyou Smile. I will let you all know later how I get on. I was looking at them next 2 me crib they looked quite good, as baby is right next to you. Are they not as good as they make them out to be then ?

xx

Rosieblossom123 · 15/10/2015 13:30

Toni good luck with your scan :) mine is tomorrow at 3:40 getting so excited and nervous!!

Ginger good luck at the epu hun don't worry yourself too much, I'm always worrying too, I'm 23 and always say to myself I'm healthy and have no reason to worry but I still do :( Just try not to over stress about things Flowers

Beautiful I was going to buy the Next 2 Me crib too but dp refused to pay over £100 for something that's only going to last 6 months I was peed off to be honest but I bought a rocking crib from mothercare it was in the sale was £99.99 down to £49.99 I love it but still love the thought of holding baby's hand while sleeping :( oh well!

Me624 · 15/10/2015 13:43

Oh Ginger you poor thing you do seem to be having all the bad luck! Hope the check today gives you some reassurance.

Good luck with your scan Toni! Eek Rosie we're nearly there for ours! I'm having a really busy week at work but at least it's made the week go quickly. DH is working from home tomorrow so he's going to come and collect me from my work and drive us to the hospital in the afternoon. Exciting!

BeautifulLiar · 15/10/2015 13:47

Rosie - ahhh, that's a really nice image, feel a little better about it now!
I did get it from eBay though so not full price.

Toni - it's quite big, so not great if you don't have much space in your bedroom. But I can live with that. The thing that annoyed me is that I thought it would be "in line" with the side of the bed, so that if you're half asleep you can sort of gently push the baby into the crib Blush but there's a "lip" of material from the crib that means it's not exactly in line. I know it's such a tiny issue but I'm a perfectionist!

Rosieblossom123 · 15/10/2015 14:00

Me I know exactly the same here hun work's been super busy this week I feel like it's flown by honestly, makes it so much easier :) Dp and I finish work at 2 tomorrow and he will drop me and pick me up from work, get something to eat, maybe a cheeky bar of chocolate to give baby some energy then we'll make our way to the hospital Grin p.s I don't think I'm going to sleep tonight way to excited!!

Beautiful that's the main reason why I wanted to get it :) plus the convenience of not having to get out of my bed to put baby in the crib. Damn it should've thought of Ebay :(

Did you have a look at the cosatto Woop, the link that I've sent yesterday?

BeautifulLiar · 15/10/2015 14:12

Yeh I never used to have the energy to put the baby back in the moses basket and I'd wake up and find them in bed with us which wasn't always ideal so this will be so much better for that.

I did look at the Woop, but going to stick with the Giggle 2 on the advice of a friend! She had a baby feb 28th last year and said she couldn't have been without the carrycot.

Someone just won £250,000 on Deal Or No Deal and I cried Blush

Rosieblossom123 · 15/10/2015 14:23

Beautiful yeah that's what I thought hun the carrycot looks snug doesn't it :)

No way that could've paid my mortgage off, arghhhh Envy
