oh yay another one for the 21st - that must be about 5 or 6 of us now!

Mine is 8:20am that day, can't wait.

Rosieblossom123 · 14/10/2015 13:24

Me I felt some flutters again last night actually made me smile and it happened earlier while sitting at my desk, I used my doppler last night baby's heartbeat was loud and clear so it's all reassuring before our big day on Friday!! Not long left now so excited! Grin

Me624 · 14/10/2015 13:44

I know Rosie we're so nearly there! DH and I have planned a little shopping trip at the weekend providing all is well. Will wait until after Christmas for the big stuff but we have a Jojo Maman Bebe in a town about 30 minutes away so we're going to go over there and treat the baby to a few beautiful things! Everything else can be cheap!

My stomach has felt a bit dodgy today so I'm more inclined to think that what I felt last night was just wind. I'll be keeping an eye on it though.

Beautiful I didn't think I'd put on much weight yet but I am a whale compared to you!

docmcstuffins1 · 14/10/2015 14:17

Paper that made me spit my coffee out!
I've not really felt much either. Keep getting odd sensations that could be but nothing convincing yet.
My scan is also on the 21st, at 2pm. 6 days, 23 hours and 43 minutes away....not that I'm counting or anything Hmm

Rosieblossom123 · 14/10/2015 14:41

Me same here, although we planned not to find out until the Saturday while having lunch with the inlaws, we will ask the nurse to write down the sex on a piece of paper the wait is going to kill me though haha I'm a bit upset that I won't see the private bits :( but dp said we could do a private one at some point and see it them so I will have to wait I guess!

TriJo · 14/10/2015 15:22

Having a gigantic pain in my face trying to find good maternity swimwear, had a bit of gymnastics trying to get into my one size bigger Speedo athletic cossie before swimming yesterday and I don't seem to fit any size chart. Apparently Jojo Maman Bebe think I'm a size 18 up top and have a size 8 arse, and don't stock tankini separates. Is it news to these people that boobs grow in pregnancy or something? /rolleyes

Tonideanna123 · 14/10/2015 15:39

Hello everybody,

Im due on the 2nd March :) and am now 20 weeks. We had a private scan done a couple of weeks ago and found out were expecting a little baby boy Smile

So happy and over the moon. Ive got my hospital scan tomorrow the 14th , cant wait to see him again. Its amazing feeling isn't it!!

Its gonna be the last I see of him now :( unless I have another private scan done when im a bit further gone Wink lol

xx

dobbythedoggy · 14/10/2015 16:12

Hi toni we're due date buddies. I'm having a little boy too. We get to see him again on the 3rd as he didn't play ball in our scan last week. Bump is my second, he has a big sister already. Try not to feel too dissapointed about not having anymore (nhs) scans. I had to have a few later on with dd as she was breech, so had a growth scans and two others to check her position. Although you see the baby it's no where near as good as a scan around this stage, they get too big to see anything exciting clearly! Saying that I'm due a scan at 35 weeks to check monkey's position in hopes he'll be in a sutiable position to try for a natural delivery this time.

hayley it's so glamorous having to carry around extra clothing and breast pads. Annoyingly this time babies crying seem to trigger let down like the early days of getting to grips with breast feeding. Just very greatful I'm not working in a nursery this time around if that's what's going on! Did make our trip to the park this afternoon intresting...glad the public toilets were open!

dobbythedoggy · 14/10/2015 16:22

rhubarb I LOVE making blankets and little clothes, if people provide me yarn I happily make them blankets or dresses like dd's.

Pre dd I was an avid kintter but find crochet much more managable these days as it can be abandoned mid stitch without problem.

marmitemofo · 14/10/2015 16:23

Hi toni Smile

trijo I think I got a slazenger maternity swimsuit when I was pregnant with DD - ended up getting a size 16 as all reviews said it came up small (I was size 12 pre-preg), and it fit really well when I was heavily pregnant. I've worn it recently and it fits ok even with small (i.e. not 36 weeks!) bump, though there is a little big of bagginess with room to grow. but it's not falling off or anything!! was less than a tenner from Amazon when I got it (but this was two years ago!).

past few days I've suddenly been feeling the baby loads Grin hoping that when DP comes back from work trip on Friday he'll be able to feel them. I don't think he felt DD kick till I was 22 weeks ish but this time round it feels a lot closer to the surface (also my bump is way bigger).

TriJo · 14/10/2015 16:30

Thanks Marmite - will have a look!

Tonideanna123 · 14/10/2015 16:34

Aww that's cool Dobby Smile !! Oh that's alright though, you get to see him again. This is my first baby, so everything all new to me!

Hopefully he will be in the right position so you can have a normal delivery this time round. Did you have to have c section last time then ?

Hello Marmite

xx

dobbythedoggy · 14/10/2015 16:43

Yes had a c-section with dd, such a little monkey, had her head and her feet tucked right up under the left hand side of my rib cage! Not to fussed if I do need another c-section, but would like to be home sooner if I can rather than spending extra nights in hospital.

It does get much more alien looking the bigger they get. When dd was scaned at 36 weeks it was difficult to get her face on the screen. I think a 4d scan would be amazing, too much for me to conisder! Dh wasn't overly impressed at our scan as bump was mainly showing his bottom off! Still just as exciting the second time around.

sherazade · 14/10/2015 17:39

Had my 20 week scan and just found out it's a boy Smile thrilled because we have two girls already so this is fab news !!

MyNameIsSuz · 14/10/2015 17:50

Oh congratulations sher, boys are ace!

Me624 · 14/10/2015 17:54

Congrats sher! Did you have any gut feeling beforehand that it was a boy?

Welcome toni I am just a couple of days behind you, due on 4th March.

IndomitabIe · 14/10/2015 18:17

Hi Toni

& brilliant news Sher!

ThePug · 14/10/2015 18:43

Congratulations on all the lovely scans and boy/girl news! 9 days still for me.

19 weeks tomorrow and have definite occasional flutters but nothing like kicks yet. Also no boob leakage (I'm hoping being a first timer this won't happen til much nearer EDD)!

Think I'm coming down with a cold (thanks to my dad visiting at the weekend Hmm ) and had a horrible experience this afternoon. Had walked into town from my office as had to pick something up at the sorting office - about 10 minutes away. All fine then needed milk so thought I'd pop into the supermarket. Stood in the queue for a few minutes then suddenly went really dizzy so had to dump my basket and go outside to find a bench. Soon went away but really scared me as I've never had anything like that before.

TheMshipIsBack · 14/10/2015 19:41

Congratulations on all the happy scans! Ours was also fine today, confirmed baby is a girl. DH is thrilled, grandparents over the moon that all is well.

Paperblank · 14/10/2015 21:07

Whahey!! Look at all our beautiful bouncing blue babies and precious perfect pink babies. Awwww Grin xx

We're still on the yellow team. DH absolutely does not want to know (I reckon it's a boy though). Baby has had a few more bits today. Sleep suits, scratch mitts and cute cute muslins. I said we ought to look at snowsuits as it might still be quite chilly when the baby is born...DH wanted to buy it a bright green dinosaur suit. Remind me NEVER to send him out alone to buy clothes!

But that's amazing, Paper!

I am one of those people who buys friends babies deliberately gender neutral/non-conforming outfits. There'll be no pink/blue in this house!

Er, except there will be blue cos I really like blue! But no pink. Definitely no pink.

marmitemofo · 14/10/2015 22:28

Haha I'm with indomitable on this one I love the dinosaur suit! But I buy stuff like that for DD all the time Confused. I'm also not one for pink, but relatives often buy DD pink or girly stuff , and I'm too much of a skinflint to turn down free clothes Grin

vroc81 · 14/10/2015 22:45

Hi toni and brilliant news on all the scans!!

I love the Dino suit too!! I've seen some dinosaur sleep suits I really like so girl or boy they might find themselves kitted out in dinosaurs! Smile

TriJo · 14/10/2015 23:24

...I think we need that dinosaur suit. DH is a massive dinosaur nerd.
