Mars & montague I was worrying too as all my symptoms seem to have vanished. I don't feel sick at all or even that tired. Don't really feel pregnant! Not that I want to feel nauseous..!

lillianbeth · 22/06/2015 19:35

hang in there mawsy i hope it settles down and you get the all clear

thinking of you lily and i hope the next scan will come up with a different result

bopoityboo3 · 22/06/2015 19:35

mars my boobs aren't sore either and I'm seven weeks. Though they have been a bit itchy. Hmm Really trying not to over analyse my symptoms or lack of (sickness really does seem to be just the mornings here) Otherwise I think I'll send myself loopy in the next 5 weeks before my 12 week scan.

Sarah563 · 22/06/2015 19:57

I'm now 5+3 and do not feel pregnant at all (apart from boobs)!!

twinsandapenguin · 22/06/2015 19:58

I am struggling to keep up with all the chat here!
Lily I am so sorry to hear that, Flowers

Thinking of you both lily and mawsy.
I managed to speak to the nurse again today and have got an appointment to see the specialist on 3rd july.
Sympathising with all those with sore boobs and nausea!

Lilymog · 22/06/2015 20:33

I wish the dates were wrong but I know my cycle,we were ttc for 5 months, but thanks everyone for their best wishes. Just sitting here feeling quite numb.

My question tonight is, those who had surgical removal for their MC, what was the recovery time etc and what was it like.

Sending good vibes to everyone, Charlotte and Rafferty, how did you get on, and special love to Mawsy, hope you're recovering well xx

Mawsymoo · 22/06/2015 20:43

Hey lily I had surgical management before and found it fine - I felt groggy the rest of the day after the anaesthetic but recovered very quickly. I took a few days off work but was well enough to be out and about.

AFM I've passed a couple of clots now which I never had on my previous haemorrhage so I'm not feeling too positive, I'm going to tuck myself into my bed now and thank my lucky stars for my DS.

MayFlowers16 · 22/06/2015 20:49

Thinking of you both Lily and Mawsy Thanks

Tiredoftiredness · 22/06/2015 21:21

So sorry lily and mawsy Flowers

Been away all week and can't believe how much has happened on the thread, I've missed loads!

Just booked a private scan for Saturday when I'll be 7+5, hoping it will be OK and will reassure me, worrying as have only had vague symptoms so far and they have completely disappeared the last 2 days Sad

Also got midwife and consultant appointments booked in now, but time is moving very slowly!

Lily I've had surgical for 2 of my 3 and it was absolutely 100% the best option for me.

I needed to close my eyes, go to sleep and it all be over when I wake up. I couldn't face the brutality of doing it medically. I was scared of the pain and not being able to cope and I didn't want to see anything.

But some people don't like the idea of a GA and worry about being in hospital.

I woke up, there was no pain, really minimal bleeding, as in just spotting. Physically I recovered very quickly. The GA makes you very tired and it's takes a few days to come out of your system. And then you recover from the emotions.

If god forbid I sadly had a 4th mc I wouldn't hesitate to have another surgery. It was absolutely the right decision for me.

I'm so so sorry

Nectarines · 22/06/2015 22:00

Lily

So sorry

I have had one natural mc and surgical management for second, missed mc.

Surgery was the best choice for me. As Brummie said, closing my eyes and waking up with it all over was the best option at the time.

I was up and about a few hours later. Bleeding not horrendous and no real pain.

LazyRohazy · 22/06/2015 22:06

I echo what others have said about surgical management. I let nature take its course with mmc#1, surgery for mmc#2. It was much easier to go to sleep and wake up with it all done. I was groggy and tired for a day but back on my feet quickly after that.

Pagerty · 22/06/2015 22:21

I didn't manage to get on here yesterday and I have had pages of chat to catch up on :)

Thinking of you Lily and Mawsy Flowers

I am another who has no real symptoms to speak off other than feeling really bloated and my boobs killing me when DS2 nurses. I was very lucky last pregnancy and sailed through it, complete contrast to being pregnant with Ds1, I was ill from conception to delivery.

Sorry for the dumb question but can you add your details to the spreadsheet on an iphone/iPad? It's all gobledygook to me Wink

Rufus200 · 22/06/2015 22:33

If anyone is suffering from bad bloating (I apparently looked 4 mths preg at 5w in a Facebook photo of me as a bridesmaid) Epsom salt baths have really helped me and I can finally get my wedding rings off without hurting my knuckle!

Bosabosa · 22/06/2015 22:37

Pagerty, I managed to fill it in on iPad when I opened it in google sheets.
On the iPhone, it didn't give me the option(to open in google sheets)

Thinking of lily and Mawsy tonight Flowers

NoMontagues · 22/06/2015 22:39

I must try the Epsom salts rufus .

My abdomen is ridiculous, like a barrel. None of my clothes fit, even leggings now cut the belly in half (attractive). Yet I haven't actually gained any weight Confused

lillianbeth · 22/06/2015 23:18

I'm another one with bad bloating at 7 weeks. DH keeps wanting to rub my belly and i keep having to say that the bean is about the size of a pea and that belly is all me!

Pagerty · 22/06/2015 23:28

Thank you Bosa, I will give that a try.

Rufus I will have to try the Epsom salts too as my bloating is really bad. I'm also sure I can feel the top of my uterus, its higher than I would imagine it to be for almost 8weeks.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 23/06/2015 00:23

Lillian that's brilliant! I'm in a Feb Facebook group that I randomly found and there's quite a few "bump pics". Mines aaaalll food baby I'm afraid!

goldmaple · 23/06/2015 03:21

Hi! I'd like to join! I'm expecting DC3 on feb 14th. I won't touch the stats thread because I will break it!!

I've been lurking for weeks but I've been prompted to post by lily as I'm in a similar situation.

I had a scan last Friday and they could only see a sac and yolk sac. No baby. I was very upset but apparently that doesn't mean game over yet. My next scan is July 3rd... Has anyone else had a scan like this? How did it turn out? Im trying to be realistic but I'm still so hopeful.

I have my fingers crossed for lily and Mawsy.

Zookeeper73 · 23/06/2015 04:27

Hi, Goldmaple! Fingers crossed for you and Lily!

I'm horribly bloated as well and it is restricting what I can wear comfortably :(

TeddyRuxpinsSmile · 23/06/2015 04:36

Hello! I cannot sleep. I remember this from last time- no sleep at all yet. Oh dear.

During the first few weeks of my first pregnancy I had a pretty scary bleed and they did a scan. I think I was 6+2 or so, and there was no baby- no heartbeat- and they said it could mean it had disappeared or it could just mean it was too early. When I went back a week later the little beat had kicked in. There is certainly hope if they've said there is hope- they don't want to get anyone's hopes up if there's no chance. Fingers very much crossed for you (and for everyone who has scary things going on at the moment)xx

Poetschild · 23/06/2015 04:52

Pagerty - I'm with you on the sore boobs when feeding. I hope it subsides or DD decides to wean. Not sure I can do this until February!
