Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 30th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 48th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Hurray for a good scan Niff Smile

I'm also loving the baby pics on FB. Can't wait til I've got my own Smile

Pixie not long to go now and hopefully you'll be out of pain. Helpful parents are the best Smile mine would do that too. In fact they did for my brother and sil when nephew was born, they had my niece loads

Jeremies are driving me mad. I saw a Fred on here that said use witch hazel. So I got some witch doctor gel, it stung like a bastard - definitely wouldn't recommend Confused

Still got less movement. We googled and lots say that movement patterns change around this time. Baby is still moving just in a different way. It also says it's too soon to worry about movements

Went to see my mum tonight. She's painted my toenails for me now the Pod fixed them yesterday and put some gel topcoat on which is meant to make them last longer Smile
So now I have less skanky feet for summer Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 11/06/2015 22:41

How far I got are you purple? My movements have changed as pregnancy goes along - now they are much less pronounced because there's less room in there.

Niff great news Grin

Purpleball · 11/06/2015 22:46

I'm 25+2 La

DulcetMoans · 11/06/2015 23:14

Sorry about your scan news feathered. Everything crossed for any hope but you seem pretty sure of your dates. There are a few people here and across MN that you can ask questions to if you would like. I did find MC boards helpful at the beginning so post if you need to. And for work, do what is right for you. I wanted the distraction so wasn't really off but if you need time then absolutely take it.

I would say movements do get bigger and change purple so hopefully all ok. Recent weeks changed from kicks to whole shifts in bump.

You're living my life I think la! I work in a 'smart' building only it's actually fucking stupid and makes it hot all the time! Been edging towards unbearable this week. No swelling though, your midwife sounds great for checking you out so quick.

I've been booted in the fanny fleur, I'm sure! That or I have unknowingly exercised it all day and it's just muscle ache.

Congrats on your waving baby niff!

I think maybe is lower here too. Movement feels lower, getting uncomfortable. Concerned I won't get much of a mat leave!

Fivemonkeysjumpingonthebed · 11/06/2015 23:23

Niff that's lovely Smile

Hobbit19 · 12/06/2015 06:38

That's great news niff, how upduffed are you?

Fattycow · 12/06/2015 06:51

I am 37 weeks today. Shock How did that happen?

Hobbit19 · 12/06/2015 06:58

Eep! That's exciting Fatty!!

DulcetMoans · 12/06/2015 07:01

Shhhh fatty! Don't say it out loud, it makes it real.

DH thinks my bump had dropped, so do I. I'm terrified! Shock

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 07:11

Fully cooked fatty! Weee!

Dropping is good, dropping rand you're nearly done! I am very ready for baby to come out now. I want to be able to turn over in bed again without a big effort and a crane

Wfh today and dh is home so that'll be interesting

Purple its normal for movements to change as there's less room in there. Fret only if there is no movement for a long time

Fleurchamp · 12/06/2015 07:17

dulcet I feel exactly the same. Something has definitely shifted down there and I am developing a waddle.

I am torn between being excited to meet the baby and worrying that I am not ready/ will have no mat leave.

Movements have changed here too. I had a panic last night when I got into bed and there was nothing. Usually it's his/hers favourite time to have a squirm. Eventually DH got them moving with a few taps and a song Hmm (our nct teacher told the men to talk to our foofs to encourage head down).

Made me realise how devastated I would be if anything bad happened. I have been worrying that I haven't really bonded with my bump, it just feels too abstract and I have worried that I just have a heart of ice.

Great news on the scan niff

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 07:32

I've got a spectacular waddle! But some days I can still sprint round the office with the best of them.

I'm so ready to meet my baby, I've been trying to have this baby for over 2 years with so much frustration and heartache, I'm so glad he's finally nearly here! One more week at work and then home stretch.

Meanwhile my sil in New Jersey still hasn't had her baby. She's 8 days overdue and they do automatic cs on day 11 if baby hasn't come.

DulcetMoans · 12/06/2015 07:32

That doesn't sound good la! I want another couple of weeks, still at work! And need to be 37 weeks for birth centre. At least six more days for that.

Yeah, makes for an interesting walk fatty! I think movements changed a bit here too. Still there but different location and not as familiar. Keep trying to decide whether to ask midwife! Are you ok with yours and feel reassured?

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 07:33

Oh and I'm evil - if baby not moving I manipulate my bump a bit and that sets him off. Mw said its fine to do that gently

Purpleball · 12/06/2015 07:37

Dulcet/La can you take a fan into work? As part of your pregnancy risk assessment they shouldn't have you working in unbearable temperatures

Babypurple is moving again this morning. I think he's just changed his position and pattern. I just find the movement so reassuring that I want him to move all the time.

I've booked mummy natal classes from 8th July. Need to ring the hospital today and book the NHS ones. I looked at NCT but I've left it too late and they are full!

Purpleball · 12/06/2015 07:42

I play loud music to make mine move. Jo Whiley played the time warp last night when we were in the car, I turned it up to 11 and sang along Grin

It's probably too soon for me to waddle but I do feel like I do some days.

Yayyy Fatty you're fully cooked Grin is your hospital bag packed?

Dulcet have you have any BH? I've been told they are your body practising. Hopefully you'll get a nice rest before baby arrives

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 07:48

I can purple but for me it's the swollen legs/feet and sitting on office chair that hurt :(

The heat just makes it worse! 6 days left!

WilHarlot · 12/06/2015 07:50

Don't fret Dulcet, you can drop ages before baby comes. It'll be reet.

It's our last forecast day of nice weather so vowing to spend every available moment outside.

jellypi3 · 12/06/2015 08:09

Morning viroids. Scan today at 12 and I've got the nervous arse rain totally not caused by my kebab I had for dinner

Hope you're all ok, la and dulcet you will have babies soon! It's so exciting!

Fleurchamp · 12/06/2015 08:11

Today was supposed to be hot here in the south but it looks like rain instead?!?

I have to go into work with a jumper on as the air con is so fierce and the women I share an office with are all menopausal and require arctic temperatures Confused

Doesn't stop the swollen feet though! Sitting at a desk all day is no good for us. 6 more days until I can just relax Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 12/06/2015 08:20

Good luck jelly!

Big downpour here, according to Charlie cat this is my fault and I should make it stop. At least that's what I think his caterwauling is saying

PixieChops · 12/06/2015 08:27

Fleur I'll tell you a secret about my bump with DD. I hated it, I didn't bond with it at all, in fact l it did was make me angry and annoyed because it caused me pain. When I got pregnant I'd been with DP for 2 weeks and I was still going out and getting hammeredevery weekend. In no way did I feel ready for a baby.
Well DD arrived and DP fell in love with her straight away. It's taken me until she was 7 months old to truly love my child. Yes I sometimes feel guilty about it but she was still well cared for, fed, cuddled etc. I just didn't feel an overwhelming love rush like most mums get when she arrived. I used to beat myself up about it but now I think what's the point, I love her so much now and I tell her every day before she goes to sleep and always have done. It's not unusual for women to feel like that. If it gets to the point where I felt I could bet have loved her or felt I wasn't taking care of her properly I would've seeker medical help. I probably had a bit of post natal depression in all honesty but I got through it in the end.
Being pregnant with DS is so different. He's not planned either but I know as soon as I see him that I'll love him as much as I love DD. I'm not scared this time Smile becoming a parent is a very hard adjustment for some mums

Indigoblue2 · 12/06/2015 08:57

Automatic CS on day 11 la?? Jesus Christ. Does your sil get any say in the matter what with it being HER body and all ? I know the U.S. love their caesareans (one in three births) and their episiotomies but somebody tell them to put down the scalpel!!! We have relatives over there (San Diego and New Hampshire) and I know it's virtually unheard of to have midwife led care and even more Blush to have a home birth. Somebody I know is a nurse over there and the hospital she is working at just now is one of the first to trial gas and air. Because for some reason america don't use it for labouring women. I'm so glad, on so many counts, to live in the UK! We are so lucky.

Sorry to hear about your scan feathered. I hope you get some answers either way, must be really shit for you. Thinking of you Thanks

Purpleball · 12/06/2015 09:22

I never knew the U.S. were so far behind. My mum said they didn't do epidurals when she had us, my youngest sister is 30. I thought the rest of the world would be the same as the UK, or at least the developed world

Babypurple has been doing somersaults this morning. We could see my belly moving - very odd but lovely.

More work stress here, bloody customers but so far I'm taking it all in my stride.
They still haven't got a replacement for me and my boss is on holiday for the first week of my pre mat leave holiday. I said I'll keep Skype on in case of emergency but I'm not working it.
Fortunately I don't need to train a replacement or do a handover. I trained my boss so I just need to give her everything Smile

Purpleball · 12/06/2015 09:23

I just got an email saying magnums are £2 a box in Sains - thought it might be useful, it includes pink ones Grin
