Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 30th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 48th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Good luck feathered, will be thinking of you x

Fattycow · 11/06/2015 10:22

Congrats Tee!

Fattycow · 11/06/2015 10:23

feathered, symptoms mean nothing. I'll be thinking of you today, hoping that it shows a nice little bean in there.

RPopz · 11/06/2015 11:12

Just nipping in to say congratulations again Tee Been reading back and sounds like you had a tough time of it Sad Your little squish is totally worth it! xx Thanks

(Also Angry Angry Angry at your friend for telling you how bad her contractions were - totally helpful! Hmm )

goodnessgraciousgouda · 11/06/2015 11:44

Tee - Congratulations!!! I hope you are feeling so much better now, and that you are somewhere which you would not describe as "hellish"!! Did it get better? I hope you are managing to get some rest.

Before - Did I somehow totally miss the fact that you had the baby?? Amazing work!! Is six hours a long time to be discharged? We are kept in 3-4 days over here, so six hours seems insanely short!!

La - On the fruit comparisons, I always thought that they used the length of the fruit, rather than the full size of it for a comparison. So - as long as a honey dew, or whatever? No?

Then again, melons of any type would certainly be pretty near top of the list of "fruits I would never want to come out of my vagina".

Watermelon would have to be the top though. The size of those fuckers is like a constant surprise to me.

fleur - I had a few friends who worked at strip clubs doing bar work. They used to laugh about how it was basically impossible to get hammered at the clubs because the drinks are so SO watered down. Most people turn up hammered to begin with, and the last thing they want are guys "hilariously" accosting the girls, or getting into fights, or whatever else.

pixie - fair enough! Sex est. licenses are quite notoriously difficult to get - what an odd business combo for your owner friend!! At least you know that your best friend was there with him - which does though beg the question how on earth he thought he would get away with lying about it???

Cymraes17 · 11/06/2015 11:50

Oh, oh. Im on top of the list. Eeek.
Tee, he is beautiful! Well done you.
The weather is nice today, but I fear it may he too hot for me to walk to school later on to get DD1, even though it could help get this one out. Luckily the car is home, what would you do?

Fleurchamp · 11/06/2015 12:15

Cymraes - drive part/ walk part? Depends on how far the walk is/ whether there is an ice cream shop en route Grin

I went for a 3 mile stroll yesterday and my lower back really hurt last night. Such a shame as I love walking and it has been really good for me until now Sad

batfish · 11/06/2015 12:26

Good luck feathered you will be absolutely fine - I was utterly convinced at 2 early scans there would be bad news, had even practised in my head how I would react! I had no symptoms at all other than sore boobs and was sure it meant certain disaster but turns out symptoms or lack of don't mean anything so I'm sure you'll be posting a lovely pic for us very soon Smile

FeatheredTail · 11/06/2015 14:30

Hi Viroids

Not great news I'm afraid. But apparently not totally bad either.

They did the scan (babybond are amazing - such lovely staff and facilities in Fenchurch Street branch) and they couldn't see a yolk sack or a heartbeat.

There is a pregnancy but it looks no further along than 5 weeks.

The embryo is only measuring 8.5mm when it should be about double.

At this stage (7+4) it should be bigger and a heartbeat should be detected.

She said that it isn't necessarily bad news but she said it was of undetermined viability.

Devastated. I know exactly when we shagged and pretty sure when I ovulated. There's no way I can only be 5 weeks along.

Just want to burst into tears but have to go out for SIL birthday tonight then speak at a public event for work tomorrow night.

Sonographer said I need to get HCG done and go to the EPU in two weeks. In two weeks I'm going to be in Greece. I've got a week from hell at work next week - travelling for two days and huge meeting on the Thursday.

I dont know what to do.

FeatheredTail · 11/06/2015 14:32

Just looked at notes....it's actually only 7.8mm

All I have is a gestation sack.

Sad
FeatheredTail · 11/06/2015 14:47

And the bloody doctor's surgery has told me the next appointment is 1 July!!! Unless I call back tomorrow at 8am to try to get an appointment then. F*cking inconvenient on top of everything else.

batfish · 11/06/2015 15:23

Oh feathered I'm so sorry and sorry also for being so flippant in saying symptoms mean nothing and you'll be fine Sad I don't want to give false hope and say maybe it's ok if you are totally sure of your dates but I'm just hoping for a miracle for you, it seems ridiculous that they can't do anything for 2 weeks, that's just cruel to make you wait for that long, hope you are OK. I'm sure someone else will have some better advice but just wanted to say I'm sorry it wasn't better news Thanks

Fattycow · 11/06/2015 15:29

I'm sorry, feathered.

goodnessgraciousgouda · 11/06/2015 15:30

feathered - so sorry for the bad news today. I don't think anyone would blame you for bailing on a birthday party tonight, no matter who it's for.

Could you ask/insist that they check your hcg levels over the course of a few days? That would show if the hormones are increasing as they should be, and it doesn't require waiting for weeks on end.

I don't want to get hopes up, but is there really no way you could have got your dates wrong/ovulated later than usual/had a much longer time between fertilisation and implantation?

gaggiagirl · 11/06/2015 15:38

Oh feathered I'm so sorry. I wont get your hopes up. How are you feeling? Over on the undergrads stoat had a very similar experience I think 5hell did too so they will be able to offer practical advice. My MC was rather different so I would probably give rubbish advice.

FeatheredTail · 11/06/2015 15:48

My LMP was on 19 April and I got the peak fertility sign on my CBOM on Thursday 30 April. Had sex every day, with last shag on Tuesday 7 May.

Got BFP on FRER on Tuesday 12 May and had 5 more BFPs over the last few weeks (that I took to confirm - all strong lines).

Shagged at the weekend but apart from that hadn't dtd since Tuesday 7 May. So I don't think my dates are out.

Will phone doctors back and insist on an appointment or speak to on call GP. Just told RL friend over WhatsApp (she's a GP) and so wanted her advice. She said the same as the sonographer (but also gave hugs etc).

I had totally committed to this pregnancy - all I do on my commute is come onto this FRED and the JS one, lurk, go on my pregnancy apps and look up how big I will be by when. Just seems so cruel. Sonographer's advice was - whatever happens, there's nothing that can change it now.

Which should be comforting, but isn't really.

Will pop back to JSers later tonight and get 5Shell and Stoat's advice.

Birthday is just dinner with DH and SIL. DH is still ridiculously optimistic and saying I shouldn't worry, bless. But he doesn't read about it as much as me and is happy to take the sonographer on her literal words.

Thanks for the support x

FeatheredTail · 11/06/2015 15:48

** Should have said, last shag was Tuesday 5th May. Got BFP a week later.

Hobbit19 · 11/06/2015 16:08

Oh Feathered, what a horrible situation to be left in. There is no way you should have to wait two weeks for answers I think you are right to call the gp tomorrow and ask for bloods ASAP. Flowers for you my dear.

jellypi3 · 11/06/2015 16:15

:( feathered sorry to hear your bad news. Please pester the GP, if you must say you're bleeding or in immense pain to they will refer you.

pretzelpieces · 11/06/2015 16:21

I'm sorry feathered, it must be really hard not knowing for sure at the moment as well Thanks Thanks

FeatheredTail · 11/06/2015 16:25

Just called the surgery and asked to speak to duty doctor. Receptionist as so nice I started to cry and finding it hard to stop. Hoping the doctor calls back and we can start arranging bloods asap. Thanks ladies. Don't know what I'd do without you. Only my GP RL friend and DH know.x

FeatheredTail · 11/06/2015 16:26

Also think it's probably best if I revert back to lurking here and going back to posting on JS fred. Don't want to bring anyone down.

Lots of luck for tomorrow Jelly - gx all goes well.

Fivemonkeysjumpingonthebed · 11/06/2015 16:46

Feathered I'm so sorry to read you're going through this. It's sounds awful and must. Be horrid to be in limbo. Can you tell GP what stress it's causing so they can check hcg just to confirm either Well ladies I dunno about where you are but the sun is shining here and it's beautiful outside. Boss told me to take rest of this week off so just watered my plants and sat watching the birds in the garden. Might go see my friend in the hospice later, take her out into the sun too. Hope you're all having a good day.way. I don't have much good advice to give today my lovely but big hugs for you. I really hope they get their act together as two weeks is too long to wait.

jellypi3 · 11/06/2015 17:07

thanks feathered, i won't pretend i'm not nervous but trying to focus on the positives.

I hope your doctor calls back soon x

FeatheredTail · 11/06/2015 17:16

Going for bloods tomorrow morning - but won't have results back until Monday when I see the midwife. Sh*t weekend ahoy! Will post back on Monday. Hoping I'll get referral to EPU for late next week and so will know either way. x
