Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 28th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 46th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Lookingforadvice123 · 21/05/2015 18:47

jelly YES! Since I found out really, clear/white discharge. It's particularly plentiful when I go to a spin class, and I'm constantly checking my knickers when I go the loo. Normal I think xx

RhiannonElward · 21/05/2015 19:03

Jelly I didn't early on, but the past few months my fanjo has been high maintenance in that department.

Pud In theory all maternity clothes are intended to last a pregnancy, but you'll find some things more comfortable than others in different stages. So, while you can just buy maternity clothes, what suits your shape, preference and size might vary. It's tough because they don't sell much maternity clothes in shops any more, but it helps a lot of you manage to try stuff on, or get on ebay and bulk buy second hand stuff that will hardly have been worn anyway. I'm still in my regular jeans (for about the next 40 mins) but after that I think I'll get some maternity leggings, I don't really get on with maternity jeans until I'm huge. Other people will be able to give you better advice on here I'm sure, I'm not exactly renowned for my style and fashion sense iyswim.

Niffertiti · 21/05/2015 19:11

Jelly yep, significant cm has been a definite symptom here. Keep panicking thinking it's blood.

I am the size of a fricking whale at 6+2. I look well pregnant but it is clearly just constipation.

Early scan this time next week - this is the day it went wrong last time so super-anxious. Will be very glad to get through the next week.

Tori I'm on phone so can't see pix but well done, sounds a bit epic. Hope you're enjoying squishy baby cuddles!

Hobbit19 · 21/05/2015 19:24

Keep taking deep breaths Niff, early scan we be here in no time and then you will get to see you little bean. Hang in there.

jellypi3 · 21/05/2015 19:47

congrats tori missed your post earlier!

niff good luck on the early scan. I'm debating whether to get one or not, especially considering the bleed I had. The GP i saw today said if it continues or I'm worried they will send me to the EPU so I guess there's that.

Are many of you on your "month" ante-natal freds? I keep peeking at the January one!

Purpleball · 21/05/2015 19:59

I've been on panty liners since about week 6. They are useful if I forget to clench before sneezing too Hmm

Always dailies are good. Aldi ones don't stick as well. Boots ultra light ones don't hold much but stick ok.
Can you tell I'm an expert.

For the newbies I paid £99 for a 7 week scan. Telling MW GP and consultant that I was anxious due to previous mc didn't get me an early scan.

Could have gone earlier but no guarantee we'd have seen a heartbeat plus it might have had to be dildocam. Tbh if dates are wrong then no guarantee of them either.
Best £99 I spent so far. Once you've seen a heartbeat you're miscarriage risk comes right down.
I just googled early scan.

I got a free one a couple of weeks later when I had some spotting but I wouldn't wish that on anyone.

Lemondrizzletwunt · 21/05/2015 20:01

Jelly I think I speak for most of the grads when I say swamp foof is totally normal- I still have it now at 15wks Shock

Niff I was bloated as fuck, and still am a bit...I gave in a bought maternity jeans early and the relief was unreal! As the swelling reduced they were a bit too roomy and slipped a bit, but I am quickly growing back into them! Keep up as much fruit as you can, it will help you shit Grin

Lemondrizzletwunt · 21/05/2015 20:03

Jelly the November one is pants. I go on to stalk scan pics occasionally, but that's it. There's no discussion of anything 'unladylike' and absolutely no talk about pissing yourself when coming Grin

Congrats Tori he's a beauty!!! You must be so proud (of him and you!)

Hobbit19 · 21/05/2015 20:09

Ha ha Lemon! I've looked at the Christmas Fred Jelly but am busy enough trying to keep up with this Fred and sticking my oar into undergrads (think I will still feel more like an undergrad until my scan!). I think some other Viroids use them though.

Lookingforadvice123 · 21/05/2015 20:10

Viroids impart your wisdom on me! I've just read in more than one article online that you're more likely to miscarriage at the time your period would be due, eg 4/8/12 weeks. I'm 8 weeks Monday, my period would be due on Sunday had I not gotten pregnant! So now obviously I'm convinced I'm going to miscarry Sunday/Monday. How true do we think this is??? I thought I was finally going to chill out after 8 weeks as I only know of one person who's miscarried past this point, and that was SIL who I think was very unlucky at around 11-12 weeks.

Lookingforadvice123 · 21/05/2015 20:13

Ps jelly I'm on the January thread it's very nice and friendly over there, come and say hi!

teejayem · 21/05/2015 20:16

I found over bump stuff most comfy until about 30 weeks, (but this was during the winter too and it was nice and cosy) and now it doesn't completely cover all of bump so digs in a bit somewhere in the middle which I can't stand so weirdly I'm in pre preg leggings and rolling down the over bump bit of the jeans. You can get under bump jeans mind, but I felt like I was hanging out a bit when I had a smaller bump. Now I just have longer tops to cover.

Purpleball · 21/05/2015 20:36

Oh Tori he's gorgeous, well done you Thanks

I'm a fan of over bump stuff too - big pants and leggings here

Looking mine was 5 weeks. I don't think it makes any difference where you'd be

Niffertiti · 21/05/2015 20:47

I have now eaten 8 prunes. And I had veg soup for lunch. Gx for a poo baby tomorrow. I've got the day off, just hope it arrives between dentist and facial, not during Blush. Wish me luck viroids!Grin

Jelly I've introduced myself on jan thread but tbh it moves too fast for me. Too many people, I already struggle with remembering all the lovely JSers. Everyone's v friendly but I prefer it here.

My early scan is £60 which I think is quite reasonable. I just wanna see that heartbeat!

Toast85 · 21/05/2015 21:03

Hi just had a big catch up sesh. I missed so much whilst at work! Would have much rather been on here. Feel wiped by work today, it was emotionally draining today. plus I'm on my feet 90% of the time which some days is so tiring, I had another crying sesh in the toilet (haven't done that since 1st trimester) and left an hour later than I should. Firmly plonked on the sofa now and have instructed DH to make me a cuppa. He's drinking his second wine though Confused.

Jelly! So lovely to see you here. Swampy pants totally normal I'm afraid. Learn to love your panty liners.

Looking I'm sorry I haven't heard that one before and don't have any useful advice. I can only say that I think for everyone the first 40 plus 12 weeks are terrifying but we'll all be here to listen if you're feeling anxious.

I've been on the mn October bus a bit, more so on the fb group which is fairly active and I find a bit easier to keep up with. It's different. I like it here though as we're all at different stages. And I love the special brand of viroid humour.
Actually there's quite a few October viroids.. Bat, rhi, ga... I think the 4 of us? October will be a bumper JS baby month!

Tori- congrats! though epic birth story. Glad you got there in the end!

Maternity clothes- jeans got uncomfortable at 11 weeks, gave up and bought over bump jeans at 12 weeks. Have just ordered a fair bit of stuff online and will see when it arrives what fit/suits me and what doesn't. It's a pain there isn't more in the actual shops. But don't worry, one thing I've learnt from the October bus is that bumps come in all sizes!

I'm watching the shark programme, DH says it's very good.

ChatEnOeuf · 21/05/2015 21:10

Under bump mat jeans are the comfiest things you will ever own. Go into them now, never leave! I can't get on with some of my over bump trousers, they just slide down Blush

I'm on the June fred, though it's more of a FB group with occasional MN posts rather than the other way round.

Looking I've not heard that - mine were about 7-8w and 6-7w. Some people apparently get a little bleed when their AF would have been due each month, but I don't know how common it is.

OP posts:
Hobbit19 · 21/05/2015 21:37

I have just discovered that people video their 12 week scans and put them on YouTube have watched about 10 holy smoly how can the beans be moving that much without us feeling it?! Crazy!

DulcetMoans · 21/05/2015 21:39

Yay tori, super news! What a charmer, all worth it I am sure (but sounds terrifying!)

Hey before! Sorry it's been such a nightmare for you but you are so close!

niff, over the bump trousers are a dream! In my experience there are maternity clothes and not-maternity clothes so not different sizes as you grow. Means over the bump stuff starts off too big. I hated the under the bump things.

bat, is it a UAE company or British but in UAE? Just wondered if that would make a difference. Do you have to explain in detail? Could just be a work- sabbatical?

I haven't heard that looking. I know most early miscarriages are when your first period is due, so when you get BFP, but hadn't heard it being every month after. Mine weren't in like with that though either, both 6-7weeks.

Someone remind me to go collect the mattress from mothercare tomorrow. So worried I will forget it and they will send it back!

gaggiagirl · 21/05/2015 21:39

Sympathy please!

DD was sent home with........the class bear! aaaarrrrggghhh! Little nut brown hare to be precise. Along with 3 albums to add too. Fucking class bear. This weekend will be the weekend that my house gets struck by lightning or hurricane.

Lookingforadvice123 · 21/05/2015 21:44

Thank you everyone (again) you're all so kind don't know what I'd do without these threads! Dh has convinced me to try and be positive as we (I) have been saying "the m word" way too much as it is.

This is what we're going to buy after our 12 week scan, all being well Smile

JS viroids are here in their 28th outing complete with exploding belly buttons. There's royal foofs and jiffy bag gifts, but most certainly NOT x-rated colouring books at the VAGINA party HQ!
LaLaLaaaa · 21/05/2015 21:46

Hello everyone!

warning, epic catch-up post blames lovely viroids for nattering too much

tori what an angel! Congratulations!!! Sorry to hear about the epic birth! Wow - but you sound very content with your new little boy, he looks beautiful xxx

Hi jelly! We're all delighted to see you here - you've worked bloody hard to get that bfp! Congratulations! Your nan is adorable - so glad youve got folk there to be excited with you (as well as us of course!). And yes - stock up on the pantyliners, it's known affectionately as 'swamp fanjo'!!! Always Dailies are the bomb.

I'm not a fan of the July thread - it was far far too busy to follow the conversation - you posted and it just got lost. I do read it occasionally still. The Facebook page is also pretty busy and people post an awful lot on there, which sometimes gets a bit much and people worry a lot which sometimes makes me worry too. Although I do feel like the 'wise old lady' as I give lots of advice that I've picked up from viroid grads.

They are very nice ladies but I prefer this thread as you've got folk at different stages so someone's always just been through the bit you're in and can reassure you it's normal! And yes as lemon said it's a bit polite - very little foof, minge, cunt and arse rain chat.

tee how are you feeling now? any better? Is it possible you're in early labour gives little excited squeal and possibly considers getting pom poms out Don't forget the wonderful 'Hello Tubby!' comment I got one morning from a colleague. That was a classic! Grin I had an unsolicited bump rub the other day which was odd! I also find it odd when folk ask personal stuff like about how my dh is feeling and whether I know if it's a boy or girl. I find it odd that people ask that - my mum doesn't even know what I'm having pats self on the back for being extra excellent secret keeper for 12 weeks!

dulcet tell Mr Dulcet to sod off! You're gorgeous, not fat at all and you are bloody growing a chuffing human so you can have as much chocolate as you want. Tell him he can have an opinion on it when he learns how to grow a womb and push a child out of his arse I know this is not anatomically correct but it's as good as I can get today!
I normally don't eat dessert at all but I ate 5 mini magnums yesterday and half a thing of ben and jerry's today!

pud like ga said some people have quite early 'bumps' but it's mostly bloating. I looked pregnant at 8 weeks and people guessed. Actual proper solid bump didn't arrive until 16-18 weeks, then I felt proper pregnant. Now I'm at the point where if I drop something I weigh up in my mind exactly how important it is to me - too much bloody effort to get down there to pick it up! Also maternity clothes - some go under bump, some over - I found different were comfy at different stages. Right now most go under coz bump too big. But I have a wonderful pair of mega-PJ-bottoms where the waistband reaches my boobs!!!

ga hooray for halfway!!! Any more peeing episodes? I had a near miss today when I got a bit excited about something. LOVING the sodding class bear! I think you should take it on an educational outing - 'Class Bear Watches X-Rated Movie'

bat I definitely think the way wil put it in her post sounded really professional and gave great reasons as to why you'd want to take 9 months. My poor sis in law lives in NYC and has the same problem - they get 6 weeks and that's it. She is in bits about it, worrying about how she's going to manage. She's still working 12 hour days at 38 weeks because she feels she can't go off on mat leave until the very last minute to save it up for when baby's here.

JC I've definitely cleaned up friends vomit and carried them, but not wiped any arses just yet thankfully!

looking I mc at 7 weeks so that puts paid to that theory! Try not to worry - whatever happens you can't change the outcome so try to put it out of your mind.

before! wonderful to see you and sorry for stalking you and tracking you down, but I still remember your bfp and it means a lot to know that you're ok (albeit in pain - sorry :( ) and that you're going to have a BABY soon!!! I get so attached to people's stories, I love to hear how people are.

So sorry for you viroids feeling rotten ga and rhi - get lots of rest if you can! So exciting that you've got scan next week rhi, it feels like a while since we found out a new flavour!! :)

niff we will be here to hold your hand through the scan. First 12 weeks are so nerve wracking, but hold your nerve and think positively.

I'm sobbing to first series of OBEM. No idea why I'm watching it, what a crap idea! I am tired and emotional today because not sleeping well again last few nights, hopefully tonight will be fine though :D Got lots of heart palpitations at the moment my chest is jiggling up and down and I can hear my heart in my ears. Baby is kicking away merrily, think he's having a party.

LaLaLaaaa · 21/05/2015 21:50

looking my post sounded a bit overly breezy! Totally not how it was meant. I know you're scared and worried, but please do try not to worry. We will be here for you, try to think positively.

Love the converse!

jellypi3 · 21/05/2015 21:53

Aww la love the epic post :) I've decided to do one more FRER tomorrow morning and hope it's stronger than my last one, then I'll try to relax a bit.

Just had a bath at sub 40 degrees. It was horrible. I normally have my baths so hot I come out steaming and lobster red (and considering I'm brown skinned that's quite an acheivement). This was like sitting in a swimming pool, it was cold and boring so I swiftly washed hair and left the bath. Fun times!!

gaggiagirl · 21/05/2015 21:56

la yeah I'm still pissing myself but the amount of cm is unreal, had another mini gush of it since Saturday. Baby is happily wriggling away though so I'm not worried.
I am getting my circumference measured for my bump support tomorrow. I do not wish to know the result!

gaggiagirl · 21/05/2015 21:58

jelly what's going on in your fanjo today? Just cm? I'm so excited by your pregnancy.
