We'd rather have a finger than a funnel whilst eating our bodyweight in Raspberry Magnums to ease the fanny daggers... keep growing those babies viroids, its JS Grads no 27

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 27th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 42nd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Good way to look at it fleur. Still 10 years of crap first though.

Ga- I could try to post some in a jiffy for you?

DH is home from work earlier than expected so we're going to go and choose our pram (maybe) and other baby related bits and then have a money-saving date night- pizza express vouchers paid for using tesco clubcard points!

batfish · 09/05/2015 14:42

Oweee I keep getting what seem to be round ligament pains but always in the same place and either when I walk the tiniest distance ever or sometimes when I'm not even moving - like now I am laid on the sofa but if I lie on my side but propped up so bent upwards if that makes sense then I get it as well - is it normal to be getting it so often and just in one place? Don't want to make a docs appt about it and be dramatic but also don't want to just ignore it if not normal. We don't really have a 'call the midwife' option here, they just say make a docs appt so it's not that easy to get answers to silly questions!

Lookingforadvice123 · 09/05/2015 15:04

Do you think so fleur? I hope you're, right, but I was sure the past 5 years would be enough for labour to at least get some more votes!

Just told DH's parents who were ecstatic, lovely to see them so excited! Although like my sister they didn't believe us at first, DH and I have clearly done a great job of seeming to be anti-kids!

Cymraes17 · 09/05/2015 15:45

Congratulations splodge & kato!
5 weeks to go! Aaaaarrrggghhhh!
DCs are playing princesses and a dragon, eldest is threatening to rid the world of light, and the other two are playing along.
Need to tidy kitchen, so I can get to mixer to make DHs birthday cake for tomorrow(he's 30, and has asked for lemon drizzle)

DulcetMoans · 09/05/2015 16:21

It's a Tory government, all our DNA will be on record soon tee! All the babies will be tested at birth and your door step poo gift will out you within 24hrs of baby birth. (I may have misunderstood DNA there...)

They are good toast, give it a go! So much stuff. Volunteering is a bit much for a pregnant lady though... My feet hurt so much! Do people really make pesto?! You don't need it if you are having pizza anyway.

Sounds like you got someone good then la. Bit of a weight off! Will you get an overlap? Bet you are looking forward to SIL going, even if it's been nice. Just having your space to yourself takes the pressure off!

You don't have to teach pixie, the qualification can be used for other things if you can finish it - we have lots of ex-teachers in my line of work who wanted out of the classroom!

God that sounds complicated chat!

Any more people to tell looking? It's nice when people are excited!

The baby movements have got so much bigger this week. Not just the odd kick and twitch - whole bloody thing moves!

teejayem · 09/05/2015 17:04

cym lemon drizzle you say! With or without poppyseeds?

Mr tee has gone out 'shopping' and miraculously 'run Into' a friend so I am fairly sure they've gone to the pub and I am stuck indoors waiting for him to bring my magnums home! On the upside, his friend is also a dad so I'm hoping that it'll encourage him to read some of the stuff I've got him. On the downside his friends daughters birth was quite a traumatic section by all accounts, so it might do the opposite. Got a bit frustrated with him this morning as tiny tee hadn't noticeably moved a lot and I'd started to worry a bit, and he told me he was probably fine and just asleep! He's got no concept of movement pattern or reduced movement etc. (tiny tee is now using my ribs as monkey bars for his feet). I also don't think he gets that we are down to our last couple of weekends together as just 'us' which sounds so lame, but I've never had to share him before and it worries me a bit! Sure it'll be fine.....

WilHarlot · 09/05/2015 17:55

It will be fine Tee. Soon enough you'll be consumed with baby rage and won't be able to stand the sight of him. joke

What is your line of work again Dulcet? Something to do with a university? I need a career change for a fed up teacher.

Bat round ligament pain can be pretty sore. It could also be rib flare like what La was talking about the other day. If you're pretty sure it's that kind of pain I wouldn't worry too much. As long as it doesn't feel like it's in the baby zone if you get what I mean!

PixieChops · 09/05/2015 19:42

Inquire lucky in that DP makes me a brew every morning- whether we've argued or not! Plus he makes all the meals when he's home and makes dinner every night as I can't be trusted due to nearly setting our other house on fire!
Had a much to busy day today, soon to be sil came round and then we had a 1st birthday party to attend straight after. The party was so lovely but I'm shattered as is DD. I love taking her to parties/ baby clubs, she just takes herself off and plays with other kids or by herself. She comes back every so often for a drink and then toddles off again. She's very independent for a 1 year old (next week Confused) it's her party on Saturday and we have everything to sort out apart from the cake!

mountaingirl01 · 09/05/2015 22:09

Whereabouts is the pain bat? Beginnings of a uti?

LaLaLaaaa · 09/05/2015 22:18

Bat where are the pains and how many weeks are you? I've had both round ligament pain and rib flare.

Both very sore, so I sympathise but I hope that you feel better soon.

Stretching out helps with both and resting as much as possible.

Just to let you know I've heard from mini. She says hi to you all, sends her love and says she's thinking of you.

teejayem · 09/05/2015 22:49

I've just broken a tooth. I can't eat ice cream. Shock

Dentist not open till Monday. Not too sore but quite a big chunk came off while I was eating crisps at 10.30pm serves me right

this falling apart lark is getting on my tits a tiny bit. Fine, I'll stay on the couch, fine, I won't lift bend walk or go shopping or sleep, but take away my ice cream? That's just cruel and unusual. :(

PixieChops · 09/05/2015 22:49

Quick question, anyone else had really strange achey legs? They feel like lead weights! Got a banging headache too but think I've overdone it today :(

gaggiagirl · 09/05/2015 22:59

bat I feel your pain! Walking short distances makes my pelvis feel like its being crushed. My hips are stabby. I've had a hot water bottle stuck to me for 4 days now.

gaggiagirl · 09/05/2015 23:02

tee can we please wrap you up in cotton wool? Please?

la hurray for mini!!!! Does she know we've all stalked her DH?

DulcetMoans · 09/05/2015 23:06

How hard was that crisp tee?! I would have thought ice cream was a perfect food for broken teeth - it melts!!

Sounds like you need to go to bed pixie, hopefully you will wake up a bit better.

Yeah, it's higher ed wil. Not teaching but popular with ex-teachers in the professional services of a uni. No summer holidays though, that is a myth!

teejayem · 09/05/2015 23:09

Mcoys salt and vinegar, and the cold from the ice cream is making it zing a bit :(

Wheat bags are good for aches and pains! You just microwave them instead of having to faff with hot water bottle. I'm going to bed. I can't do any damage in there!

LaLaLaaaa · 10/05/2015 03:36

Restless legs and feet are definitely the worst pregnancy symptom. I just want to chop mine off.

I wish I could afford a person to massage my legs every night!

LaLaLaaaa · 10/05/2015 05:10

My fucking husband has just got home. Drunk. Again.

I'm so fed up :(

teejayem · 10/05/2015 06:14

Oh la what a knobber.

You must be getting close the 'zone' where he needs to be sober in case you need taking to hosp tho? Can he not taper off the 5am pissed homecomings in preparation for that? He might think he's just letting off steam but it's really unfair on you and minila.
Sorry lovely, no real words of advice, but non mn hugs and arsekick vibes for you xx

WilHarlot · 10/05/2015 06:15

La can you have a rule he sleeps on the sofa when hammered so as not to disturb you?

batfish · 10/05/2015 07:13

Thanks for the replies about the pains - it is mostly in the same place which is pretty much level with belly button on the right hand side. It isn't constant and not unbearable so I'm not worried if there is no reason to be, I'm just not very good at looking after myself in terms of telling docs about stuff (I say yeah I'm fine and then hubby pipes up and tells him about what's really been going on haha) - I know you can never all promise me it's totally OK but if others have had similar then that's enough for me! It isn't in the middle so I guess not in baby area so it sounds like just one of the many joys of pregnancy! I felt like such a drama queen this weekend as we were on a boat trip and camping with friends and they noticed me a few times grabbing my stomach (it seems to help with the pain when I press on it) and I really don't like the attention with everyone going ooh are you OK!

batfish · 10/05/2015 07:14

Boooo la - I have become a bit intolerant of husband drunkenness - I think I'm just jealous. I end up feeling a bit annoyed if I have to stay stone cold sober which is annoying enough in itself and then I end up having to babysit him if he has had too much.

ChatEnOeuf · 10/05/2015 07:35

La you have my sympathies, I do think it's time he was read the riot act - you just can't behave like that once the baby is here, and if you need him for whatever reason in the next few weeks he needs to be there. When would he (in reality) be sober to drive you to hospital? Because coming in drunk at 5am suggests that it could well be late into Sunday before he's safe/functional/legal, which is presumably a long time since you last saw him.

Bat hope the pain settles soon, not sure what it might be to be honest, our bodies do weird things in pregnancy.

It's another Mother's day for me today - DD bounced out of bed and unwrapped her present for me at 6:45, such a treat! Then told me I needed to have a 'lion' (lie-in). Don't think she got the irony there :)

PixieChops · 10/05/2015 08:06

La your DH definitely needs reading the riot act. I'd go fucking mental if my OH came in at all hours drunk. And like other people have said the nearer it gets to your due date the less he can be doing stuff like this. Have you spoken to him about whether he's going to carry on doing that when you've had the baby?
Feeling better today, legs aren't as achey and my headaches gone too. OH has suggested that he takes us out for lunch which is nice.
Currently watching CBeebies with DD whilst OH gets milk and brews for us all. God some of these programmes are utter shite! Even worse when during the day I find myself singing the songs! DD moved from
Zingzillas to the Tweenies being her favourite Hmm both as annoying as each other.
I think DDs future lies in being an escape artist. She somehow managed to get out of her cot yesterday morning and has a lovely carpet burn on her forehead. Dropped the cot right to the floor now but I think if there's a will there's a way!
Fingers crossed my sciatica doesn't play up today so I can actually have a walk around. I have this bump band that's supposed to help but I can't adjust it or put it on/ take it off in front of DD as she's scared of the noise, it's Velcro, I have no idea why she gets so scared but it terrifies her! Along with the Hoover and the hairdryer, she's very odd.
How everyone has a good Sunday Smile

DulcetMoans · 10/05/2015 08:57

la, that is no good at all! I know you talked to him about it recently, did you talk about how he expects this can carry on when the baby is here? You are going to need some tears to
Highlight the point but can't see that being a problem. Kick his ass!

You might just have to bite the bullet and go to docs bat, to save yourself from the worry. I don't have the same pain but I get an on-off pain kind of bottom right which, when I asked midwife, was told 'that's what happens in pregnancy' so not sure what advice you'll get!

Happy Mother's Day chat! Any plans for after your lion??
