Hello! Wow exciting bazza and sunshine! Sorry to hear of your crap time ginger.I hope a bit of family time away from uni is what you need to get things back on track. I couldn't concentrate properly at work either.

Midwife was fine. Didn't have sweep because of cold and because she is still quite high up (grr) but everything is fine. Since then my blood sugars have dropped quite low though which is meant to be a sign labour isn't too far away, but we still could be talking a fortnight! My edd isn't until 30 may though and dd was late so I think I will be here for the long haul. Induction in 2 weeks if she is not here by then though. Trying to be patient. Someone I know just had their baby a bit early. He will be fine but has to stay in hospital for a while. Reminds me we are lucky ours stayed cooking.

Put dd's new cabin bed together yesterday. Pleased with it and she is delighted but oh my word I was stiff afterwards. Couldn't actually move. Lazy day today. The sun is out and dd is at nursery. Bliss!

Hi ladies for those who haven't seen on fb. I had a baby boy at 4.12am this morning weighing 8lb 2, but no name yet. Not the easiest of labours to say the least but will post that after some rest. Enjoying cuddles tho.
Sorry haven't caught up properly heads not quite back in the game but good luck to everyone in labour, being induced or overdue x x

longest Someone I knew had their baby at 26 weeks then other day! Which did make me grateful that she is still cooking and is gonna be a chunky baby lol! I am totally feeling the impatience too, due on sunday but having no real signs and it just seems that everyone is having their babies now and I'm just sat here hot and uncomfortable haha!! I hope baby shifts for you soon!!!

leanne I'm with you, keep having the odd pain but nothing much happening and am getting so fed up now! But I am grateful bubs is cooking well and is obviously very happy in there! Have you got a sweep booked in if nothing has happened by Sunday?

My midwife never mentioned anything about a sweep at the 40+4 appointment chook I was hoping she would have said something so I hope I don't have to go there and then go back for a sweep at a later date! My mum is coming over Saturday and she said we are going for a walk to see if that will start off something ha!! We have the same due date don't we? You have a sweep booked?

Yes I'm due Sunday, my sweep is booked for 30/5 then another 24hrs later and another 24hours after that if they don't work with induction booked for 5/6 but this isn't my first so don't know if that makes a difference! Hope we both have some movement by Sunday so sweeps and inductions aren't required!

Aw fingers crossed for you chook let's hope something has happened by or on our due date!! She is still moving around loads though and I'm really not sure what position she is in!! Is there any truth in the 'babies slow down just when they are getting ready for labour?'

I'm not sure if it's true or not leanne but I do seem to remember my dd movements dos slow in the days before she was born.. And this one is quietning down a bit now too so I'm bloody hoping it is true!! Will keep my fingers crossed we both have some movement by Sunday!

baby Theo Reuben was born at 0348 this morning weighing 8lb, 11 days late. very fast and emotional delivery, I will write my birth story down at some point. thank you for all your support when I was overdue and fed up.
