Hi ladies, many congratulations on your recent news. I'm sure like me you are very excited but also wondering what every feeling is going on in your body and wondering if it is normal.

I'm 30, this is my first ever pregnancy, i am 4.5 weeks and it turns out I'm a bit of a hypercondriac, scared whether every symptom is normal.

My breasts have been sore all week, but today I feel like I'm the size of a house and that I've lost control of my stomach muscles. Anyone else feel the same?

Due 21st Sep with my first, and very worried and shocked even though this was a planned for baby, mainly because I have polycystic ovaries and thought I'd struggle to conceive but we started trying at Xmas and hey presto!

I feel like September is going it be a busy period in the maternity units.

Hi Matilda, I also have/have had pcos and so basically told my gp nah I'm not pregnant it'll just be a cyst causing those hormones, he said "uh huh but you are pregnant so make an appointment with midwife" his facial expression added "crazy lady" to the end of that sentence. My feeling at the time was yeah whatever I'd rather be crazy than heartbroken!

Finally let myself believe I was pregnant when we saw him/her on the first scan! And now I feel kicks and its the best thing ever!

Husband told people it was like lighting a match to see if it works, turns out it does work pretty damn well...and quickly too! Has definitely shown me I do not know as much as I think I do, in a wonderful way!

Congrats, hope the next 4 ish months goes well for everyone!
