Hi ladies, many congratulations on your recent news. I'm sure like me you are very excited but also wondering what every feeling is going on in your body and wondering if it is normal.

I'm 30, this is my first ever pregnancy, i am 4.5 weeks and it turns out I'm a bit of a hypercondriac, scared whether every symptom is normal.

My breasts have been sore all week, but today I feel like I'm the size of a house and that I've lost control of my stomach muscles. Anyone else feel the same?

Hi Stircrazy - I got my BFP on Saturday(but was a few days before my period was due) so I'm about 4.5 weeks too.

This is my second pregrancy but am terrifed this time around as we have been ttc for 2 years and I've fallen pregnant the month after an HSG. Not many symptoms for me yet which is making me paranoid! Boobs are a bit bigger than normal, lots of pulling though and funny sensations in my lower abdoman, and some cramps. And I've been very hungry!

Congratulations on your pregnancy!

Beggy15 · 15/01/2015 09:49

I'm 7 weeks I think I am the same I suffered with severe hypochondria and health anxiety before I got pregnant now I'm 100% worse.

I've decided after today I'm banning myself from the internet and my Uni books as it's not doing me any good!

Try and relax and enjoy it although it's easier said then done. Just watch out for severe pains and bleeding but I'm sure you'll be fine.

Congratulations Flowers

Hello ladies - congratulations and there's a whole thread full of us expecting September babies - you'll find us over on the ante-natal threads!

Stircrazy1984 · 15/01/2015 10:42

Hi Cake & Beggy, thank you :) and many many congratulations to you both. Such an exciting and anxious time for all of us. It may have sunk in a little for Beggy at 7 weeks but Cake you must be feeling as surreal as I am.

I'm so sorry cake..what's 'HSG'?
I've been getting all the same as you, funny sensations and pulling. I think that is all completely normal. But know how you feel as Mon & Tues my boobs killed, yesterday I felt nothing and convinced myself the digital test on Tues was wrong...so took another test this morning just to make sure, I'm so silly. And then when I was on the way to work I felt the size of a house, and my boobs have just started hurting again?! Such a rollercoaster!

Thanks Beggy, will do. Oh dear we won't see you on here again? If you find yourself back on the net come and say hi and let us know how you're getting on. The forums are working the opposite for me, when TTC and now its nice to talk to people in the same situation, realise you're not crazy and share thoughts and feelings and know that its normal.

If you're not on here again, good luck with everything Smile

Hi ladies ... Congratulations! I'm also due sept and am 5 weeks on Sunday ! So excited .. Happy ... Nervous ... Wish the wind would stop though freely flowing ... It's quite embarrassing! Ahah xxx

Beggy15 · 15/01/2015 13:18

No it's still hasn't sunk in doctors have been convinced I will never get pregnant and the lack of symptoms and back aches had me think maybe I'm no longer pregnant - I need to be more positive!

dinodiva · 15/01/2015 13:29

Hi ladies and congratulations! I'll be 5 weeks on Saturday and trying to come to terms with it. I don't have many symptoms yet as such other than the odd twinge and tingly boobs, but just want to hibernate until I'm used to the idea.

I'm going in for an early scan next week as I've had some spotting so keeping everything crossed that things are progressing as normal.

meditrina · 15/01/2015 13:32

The September chat thread is over here

When you see how busy it is, you'll see why they're all in a topic of their very own.

Ktdnn83 · 15/01/2015 13:44

Dinodiva... We are roughly the same then .. Due around the same time. Can't wait for my first scan ... Got to wait til 4 more weeks though!! Eating a lot more ... Lots of gas ... And stomache cramp up to now ! Read it's normal ! So excited ! Xx

Babytalk83 · 16/01/2015 12:18

I'm about 4.5 weeks pregnant and my lo is only 5 months old. I'm terrified, don't know if I can do this so soon

Bubba19alicia · 16/01/2015 15:16

Congratulations everyone! I'm due around the 2nd September, 7.3 weeks :) find sickness, bloating an irritability to be my main problems!

HannahB86 · 16/01/2015 17:10

Hi everyone, I'm either due end of August / start of September and think I'm almost 8 weeks. I had a MC in November so feeling quite anxious in case it happens again especially since I fell pregnant again so quickly. Also don't seem to be experiencing too many symptoms. Breasts are sore, I'm eating more and feel slightly more tired but not exhausted and just the occasional wave of nausea. Got my first midwife appt next week so hoping she can calm my nerves and hopefully refer me for an early scan!

Jessica32 · 17/01/2015 12:25

Hello everyone, congratulations.
I got a positive test this morning after AF 2 days late. Looks like I'm due around 24th Sept, so pleased!

We've been trying 8.5 months so really wanted it but still seeming to take a while to sink in. Feel tired mainly because I was up at 4 taking my test then couldn't sleep, but feel hyper and excited. Will be ringing the doctor Monday.

I've had waves of mild sickness for about a week, even before I was late, though not severe. My boobs always hurt between ovulation and about a day before AF but this time they've just stayed sore. Feel generally tender in lower abdomen with the odd mild cramp.

Understand about worrying about losing baby, think my partner is worse! Says I must put my feet up and he'll feed me hot soup if he has to, funny man.

Best of luck to all

kjb23 · 17/01/2015 20:08

I'm due on September 13th and it's my first baby. Very anxious to have the first scan so I know that things are ok!

Tiredemma · 17/01/2015 20:12

These are Christmas Babies? Wink

DS1 and DD1 both Sept babies - everyone comments about TV being crap at Christmas then!

good luck all

Rebeccaelizabethxo · 17/01/2015 23:29

I'm due on September the 23rd, incredibly excited but definitely more anxious ! This is my second pregnancy after a mmc in June last year so I'm panicking about everything !!

I'm most worried about the dull ache in my right side, I've had this for the last 6 months usually comes 2 weeks before af arrives, but it's stuck around since becoming pregnant. Makes me feel very uneasy Sad

Beggy15 · 18/01/2015 07:19

Rebecca - I wouldn't worry but if it becomes severe contact your gp an ask her your best options

hestialou · 18/01/2015 07:23

Hello all, congratulations on BFP, I am due 26th September, have had morning sickness since 9dpo, boobs gone up a size, and lots of cravings/aversions. I am convinced already it is a girl does anyone else on here have strong feeling about what they are having? Xx

Rebeccaelizabethxo · 18/01/2015 08:47

Thanks beggy, trying my hardest to keep positive and take it one day at a time ! Pain isn't severe, just dull when I'm up on my feet, which is all the time when I'm working !

itssangriaoclock · 18/01/2015 12:46

Congratulations everyone. I'm due on 13/09/15 currently 6wks.

I've got very sore boob, hubby telling me they are definitely bigger. Also started to feel very nauseous can't stomach chocolate at the mo. Very strange for me.

I'm struggling keeping the news to ourselves. I've had to tell a few people at work as haven't been able to do a few things due to being pregnant. I'm sure my friend know as they are hinting left right and centre. But feels to soon, anyone else having this problem?

lastnightiwenttomanderley · 18/01/2015 13:17

Hello all, can I join in?
Due 21st Sept. Technically a 'Christmas' baby but actually more of a 'DH is a teacher so we agreed not to ttc 'til December and got ridiculously lucky' baby!
Still quite nervous as feel like it's all a bit too good to be true... fingers crossed.

kjb23 · 18/01/2015 13:21

Itssangriaoclock we're due on the same day !
I'm having the same problem as I have quite a small frame but my breasts have gone up a size at least, I'm trying to wear baggy clothing but I think that makes it more obvious. We've decided not to tell anyone until after the scan.

Glitterball86 · 18/01/2015 13:25

Hi hope you don't mind me joining in with my LMP I am due end of September am 4 weeks today and excited and scared! Have really sore boobs feel exhausted and major acids reflux (which had been a god send for me quitting smoking!) happy and healthy 9
Months all :)

Ktdnn83 · 18/01/2015 14:15

So my nipples are now really really sore , not my breast as such just the nipples !!! I can't even touch them ! I have found a hot bath has eased the pain but I am thinking these painful nipples will never go away!! 5 weeks pregnant today ! X
