Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

Can someone update the spreadsheet for me please. I'm 37 and my booking appointment is on Feb 4th and my scan on March 4th.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/01/2015 17:03

Got in from work just! Walking home from the Tesco Metro with two bags of shopping, my normal bag AND my laptop was actually quite difficult. I've now prepared dinner, emptied the dishwasher and refilled it! I've now decided my marking can wait until tomorrow morning. Time for some indigestion tablets and a bath I feel!

LittleSesameSeed · 13/01/2015 17:04

Loopy- give the epau a call x it'll put your mind at rest x

brickiemum2 · 13/01/2015 17:06

You should call the epau loopy

DoctorDonnaNoble · 13/01/2015 17:07

Pressed post too soon! I echo the advice to call EPU.

Mummyboo30 · 13/01/2015 17:13

Keeping everything crossed for you loopy definitely give them a ring and see what they say.

Kittykitty05 · 13/01/2015 17:18

loopy I'd agree, the epau may be able to bring your early scan forward

duckbilled · 13/01/2015 17:38

Thinking of you loopyvFlowers

NatalieBee · 13/01/2015 18:19

Loopy- give them a ring and they might bring it forward but although they might make you wait as they wouldn't see much at 4/5 weeks they made me wait last time, just to be prepared. Early pregnancy is such a worrying time Thanks

BB01 · 13/01/2015 18:23

Definitely call Epu Loopy. Thinking of you. Bleeding hugely common so don't give up hope x

NatalieBee · 13/01/2015 19:21

Has anyone else had like a stabby pain in their boobs? So random Blush

LittleSesameSeed · 13/01/2015 19:36

Natalie- I did with dd1 - very odd! X

HaveTeaWillSurvive · 13/01/2015 19:54

Hope you're okay loopy Flowers

Treaclepie19 · 13/01/2015 20:00

Definitely call loopy to put your mind at rest.

No stabbing natalie but I've had no boob pain at all this time. Just caught sight of them in the mirror though and they are so veiny!

TerrysNo3 · 13/01/2015 20:07

loopy if you want you can always go to a+e too if you're really worried but from what you've said it could just be early pregnancy stuff. Keeping my fx for you!

I am only 5 weeks tomorrow and I have a little bump already, I am a size 10/12 but always had a bit of a tummy and considering this is no3 I think my body has given up already!! No idea how I'm going to hide this for another 7 weeks?!?!

Dailylurker · 13/01/2015 20:31

Terrys - scarves... I've had to resort to wearing black and long scarves to cover my 'bump' it's a nightmare, I'm 8 weeks ish so not as long to hide! Luckily I've done enough complaining about my weight recently that people just think I'm fat!!!

brickiemum2 · 13/01/2015 20:35

Terry snap. I'm 5 weeks and size 12 having number 3 and I'm so bloated. I wish it was an actual bump instead of fat and constipation pmsl.

duckbilled · 13/01/2015 20:50

I think we are lucky having emerging bumps at this time of year, people will just think we overdid it at christmas I hope! Grin

Moffit · 13/01/2015 21:24

Wow, you ladies can chat, 5 pages to catch up on in less than 24 hours!

I thought I was symptomless, until I read your posts.......I'm so exhausted!! But then I did spend half of the night awake, first I was thirsty, then I needed a wee, and then I was thirsty again (I didn't even realise that was a symptom).

I'm hoping that people just think I'm fat too, problem is I'm on weight watchers, only been doing it for two weeks and going on about it at work, they're going to think, blimey that diet is rubbish!

Have any of you ladies shared your news with anyone in RL? Only me and DH know and we plan to keep it that way until I have a reassurance scan. But it is so hard not to let slip, especially to my mum and sister!

Treaclepie19 · 13/01/2015 21:41

I think people just think I've put weight on over xmas.
I've told my mom and dh's mom. Only as we were going out with dh's mom and I didn't want to lie and fake being ill and not drinking. Plus his sister in law has been asking me how we're getting on ttc and I'm a terrible liar.
So what I thought would be 2 people knowing is probably more like 6.
Oh well. They're all the people we needed when I miscarried last time. Except for my sister who ill tell when I feel a bit more confident. I want to at least get past 5 weeks! (Sunday)

spamanderson · 13/01/2015 21:50

moffit I'm a fatty so people will doubt think I'm just getting fatter ha ha! My mum knows, a couple of DHs colleagues have been told as he can't keep his gob shut they asked the right questions about his op.

I'm dieting this time, I gained 3 stone 4 with dd1, 2 stone 13 with dd2. I'm determined to not gain this time or lose weight during this pregnancy.... Doing well so far.. Lost 4lbs last week and have just eaten some pizza, garlic bread and chocolate so I can wave goodbye to any loss this week plus I know feel very nauseas

bonzo77 · 13/01/2015 21:56

hope all is Ok loopy. Did you call EPU?

moffit I've told a colleague who needs to know for h&s type things. The bloke who's horses I ride (so I can ride the easier ones), and that's it. There are no links to family from these people, so it felt Ok telling them. Not sure when I'll tell anyone else.

Slightly freaking over lack of symptoms. I am very thirsty, and a bit light headed. Boobs normal and minimal if any nausea. I was soooo nauseous with my successful pregnancies, even before I tested. With DS1 I didn't test till I was about a couple of months gone, as I'd just come off the pill. DS2 I was only 10 dpo and was really feeling rough already by that point, so I am a bit anxious. I think I'm going to see my GP and try to get a referral for an early scan.

funny how we all expand differently. I tend not to really show till quite late on. I guess it helps that previously I've lost around 7-10lb with the nausea in the first trimester. With DS1 I went on maternity leave at 36 weeks and most of my clients, and one member of staff Hmm had not realised. And when I turned up on DS1's nursery run with with DS2 in the pram, there were several parents and a couple of members of staff who asked who the baby belonged to. Obviously I'd been unable to wear some of my clothes (jeans mainly), but I don't think I ever looked more than about 6 months pregnant. WOnder what will happen this time. Definitely feel a bit bloated. Lots of trapped wind. I slept really badly last night, largely because I kept thinking I needed to poo.

ShootTheMoon · 13/01/2015 22:01

Moffit, we have only told a close MN friend (friend in real life now too Grin) as I would turn to her if anything went wrong - she's been through a lot with her pregnancies.

Not planning on telling our folks until after the scan. Both DM and MIL worry a lot and my DM in particular will not be able to focus on anything unless until the baby arrives. 6 months is long enough after the scan for her to fret!

I am considering telling my sports captain as I shouldn't really play after 12 weeks and she'll need to plan the squad. And I want her to know why I'm slowing down and getting fat Wink

LittleSesameSeed · 13/01/2015 22:08

Moffit- we've told our parents and my 2 closest friends! I really turned to those two after my miscarriage so couldn't keep the news from them! I'm not great with keeping news quiet so I'm very impressed that nobody else knows so far! Smile

booboobeedoo11 · 13/01/2015 22:28

We decided to tell both our mums and my partners nana only...which has now turned into the mums, the nana, the brothers and sisters and our 2 sets of best friends! We're a really close little group, us two, his brother and partner and another couple have been best friends for years and we figured if anything bad/good happens the six of us always know about anyway. OH was so excited to tell people as this will be his first so I let him have his way lol. I totally understand why people keep it to themselves til later on and other than o7r close family and friends that will be us til after the 12 week scan. Oh..that is until I return to work on the 26th after 5 months off (after a road traffic accident) and tell my boss I need this date and that date off again for booking and scan. He'll also be overjoyed I'm sure at the thought of me leaving on maternity!
