Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

ag123 welcome and congratulations - I promise you haven't jinxed anything with a bit of forum posting Wink

GinFace · 08/01/2015 19:37

Welcome ag!

Lurker thanks...Grin

I think you're right and my tolerance levels are low. I shouted at DS tonight Sad Feel bloody terrible.

deeplybaffled · 08/01/2015 20:13

Off to the gp tomorrow to tell them that I and a LOT of tests think I am pregnant, and to find out what on earth happens next. Eek....

Galaxy2014 · 08/01/2015 20:26

Thanks Terry for the stats - Mine are:
"Galaxy2014 - 28/08/15 - DC1" - Jumped on this thread as I bet I'll be late!

Had my early scan today due to a little bit of bloody last Fri and all good. Had a heartbeat and was shocked how much detail you could see ....i.e. been shape with umbilical cord. I've got a pic and now don't need to go back until my 12 week scan Smile However didn't realise it would be an internal scan!

Hows everyone coping with nausea? It's getting on my wick - comes and goes. Not been sick but just feel foul.

nutelladipper · 08/01/2015 20:32

Why don't you need a 12 week scan Galaxy? Odd. Don't they need to nuceal (sp) fold at 12-13 wks??

X

Galaxy2014 · 08/01/2015 20:39

oooh I meant I don't need to have any more scans now until my 12 week one Smile I was hoping everything would be ok (which they are) so I don't need to go back in a fews time. I'm 6 weeks 6 days.

GinFace · 08/01/2015 20:58

Hey baffled...I saw my GP yesterday. I'd forgotten what they ask! She asked if it was good news that I was pregnant - that one took me by surprise even though I'd been asked by my GP with DS. She went through my previous pregnancy and birth, reminded me about folic acid (tick) then the stuff I shouldn't be eating.

Midwife appointments are usually around the 8/9 week mark I think.

LittleSesameSeed · 08/01/2015 21:11

Hi I can't seem to add my details so could someone do it for me? Edd 03/09 dc2 thank u x

deeplybaffled · 08/01/2015 21:17

Thanks, ginface -mentally prepared for that one now!

Oh, and this would be dc 1 if anyone can update. X

Mummytogoldie · 09/01/2015 00:11

Congrats Natalie x I am in your situation for tomorrow , I had a mc 1st December, had bloods took this Monday as had a positive test 28dec. Hormone levels were over 17000 epu said they were higher than expected so I have been booked in for a scan tomorrow morning :/ very nervous and praying we see something x

NatalieBee · 09/01/2015 01:29

Goodluck Goldie :) fingers crossed for you!

I am up with horrific heartburn..I thought this was meant to come later Hmm pregnancy is not as glamorous as they make it on tv lol!

TinyPawz · 09/01/2015 03:04

So I be so tired I cannot keep my eyes open, then for reasons unknown to me I'm waking around 2am and unable to get back to sleep. Anyone else having this delightful sleep pattern.

Boobs are less sore which to be honest is slightly worrying.

TinyPawz · 09/01/2015 03:05

Heartburn according to old wives tales means that baby will be born with lots of hair.

NatalieBee · 09/01/2015 03:39

Tinypawz I feel your pain. I'm dreading starting back to work after annual leave on Monday. As for the boobs my mw said today that hormones fluctuate along with symptoms especially boob pain!

I did hear that about heartburn! DH is half Asian and born with a full head of dark hair so I will no doubt have a baby with a full head of gorgeous dark hair Smile unlike my thin blonde hair Hmm

Hope you get some sleep soon!

TinyPawz · 09/01/2015 04:48

Your dc will be beautiful. My dd was born with inch long straight hair! I was devastated. She's mixed (African/Irish) I wanted curls. Took about 3 weeks til the first curls came in.

TerrysNo3 · 09/01/2015 07:55

Natalie don't count on a dark haired baby, I am half Indian and DH is white and DS, although he was born brown hair and jaundiced tanned skin, by the time he was 6 months old he had white blonde hair and pale skin!! Smile

TerrysNo3 · 09/01/2015 07:57

Although in case it isn't obvious that I think this as I'm his mother but he was and still is bloody gorgeous!! Grin

ShootTheMoon · 09/01/2015 07:57

TinyPawz, I have struggled a bit with sleep - mostly getting back to sleep if DD wakes me, or if woken by one of my crazy vivid dreams. Or dry mouth. I have been getting that too!

I have heartburn too - will on the Omeprazole as soon as poss! Last time I didn't know it was heartburn until the second trimester and I just ate and ate to get temporary relief. Awful.

ditzzy · 09/01/2015 10:05

Hi Ladies,

I'm tentatively joining - BFP one week ago, and am 5 weeks +2 today. Had cp at 5 weeks last month, so not entirely relaxing yet... I've just got back from the docs who agreed my blood pressure is now acceptable (it was horrendously high when I went in last week) so that's helping Grin

This will be baby#1, due 9th September (I think).

As ag123 commented, I've been lurking around here for at least a week!!

GinFace · 09/01/2015 10:19

Hello ditzzy and congrats. How are you feeling?

Morning everyone, hope those of you who struggled with sleep last night are feeling ok today.

My nausea has landed Envy

GinFace · 09/01/2015 10:21

If that last post contained a green heart I've no idea where that came from. This bloody app is shit.

ditzzy · 09/01/2015 10:24

Thanks Ginface !

Don't worry the green was definitely a face on my screen....

I'm feeling remarkably ok today, just a little on the queasy side, and incredibly hungry Grin the on/off cramping, stretching and generally feeling as though my entire insides were being pulverised seems to have calmed down a bit over the past day or two, so hopefully that's all good.

I think I need to go bra shopping soon though - I'm definitely filling this one a bit more than is practical!

nutelladipper · 09/01/2015 10:48

Morning all,
I'm certainly finding I'm waking in the night and having restless sleep. Plus needing a wee!!
Shattered today and my 'd'c are driving me bonkers and it's only 10.30!
X

nutelladipper · 09/01/2015 11:48

Had my scan date through! 16th feb. Seems ages away!!!
