Hello ladies. I got my BFP (bloody faint positive in my case) on Monday and am due on 3rd September. I couldn't see any other threads for next September so thought I would go ahead and create a little home for us over the coming months. Merry Christmas to all of you finding out about your extra Christmas Present over the next few days Grin .

Oh sorry, hadn't RTFT, really sorry Almost Flowers

spamanderson · 06/01/2015 22:35

Sorry to hear that Almost. Is it possible that you're just too early for it to be seen yet?

Just laid down in bed and getting sharp pains in my bits and lower tummy. Really hoping it's just stretching and stuff. My belly is quite tender, anyone else? And to the person who said about wind/gas, omg, I have been super trumpy :/ thank god DH finds it hilarious!

Mummyboo30 · 06/01/2015 23:10

Sorry to hear that Almost
Fingers crossed for a healthy sticky bean in the future. Flowers

Mummyboo30 · 06/01/2015 23:14

Spam that sounds like round ligament pains. I've been getting them if I turn over in bed too suddenly. Hurt like a bitch, but they don't last long.

The exhaustion is really building in me now, having to nap in the afternoons to be able to manage. Unfortunately too much to do to be able to go to bed early as well. (Although I'm off shortly)
Really starting to feel a bit gypy in the stomach today. Thought I might actually lose my dinner this evening. :(

deeplybaffled · 06/01/2015 23:44

So sorry to hear that, almost Flowers

Mummytogoldie · 06/01/2015 23:51

Strange question . Has anyone been getting car sickness with pregnancy? I am having waves of nausea quite a lot now but every time I am driven in a car I feel like I am going to throw up after about 2 mins. Very strange

NatalieBee · 07/01/2015 00:06

Mummytogoldie, I'm the same my nausea is made 10x worse by being in the car! The passenger seat is even worse than driving! Horrible eh?

NatalieBee · 07/01/2015 00:58

Oh goodness Almost I am so sorry Thanks don't know how I missed that post! Lots of virtual hugs, look after yourself Envy

spamanderson · 07/01/2015 07:28

Thanks mummy! I feel like I'm doing this all for the first time again and I'm sure I didn't have these pulling pains with the other 2 I probably did but my brain isn't the sharpest at the moment when 'little jimmy' is born, I'll have a 6 and 8 year old :/ the age gap between my first 2 is 21 months, now it's going to be 6 years 2 months between the youngest and middle :o I think I'm bloody mad!

GailTheFish · 07/01/2015 08:03

Very sorry for your loss Almost

GailTheFish · 07/01/2015 08:06

And congratulations HaveTeaWillSurvive - hope you eventually managed to tell your DH!

GinFace · 07/01/2015 08:11

I remember those stretching pains. Worrying and annoying but normal I think. It's so hard to tell what we should and shouldn't be worrying about, isn't it?

Even though my sickness hasn't kicked in yet, with DS I wore the travel wrist bands. Not just for travelling, but all the time. They were bloody brilliant. You can get them from Boots or pretty much any chemist I think.

Hope everyone who is feeling rough perks up soon.

Who has got scans coming up? Ours is on Saturday

GinFace · 07/01/2015 08:11

Also peppermint tea and mints in general...SO much better than ginger.

Dailylurker · 07/01/2015 08:21

Spam - there is 17 months between ds1 and ds2 then 13 years between 2 & dd1 and then there will be 22 months between 3 & 4... Madness!

Gin - I have a scan this afternoon, I've no reason to think there is anything wrong but I am terrified and have a horrible feeling, think it is probably because I am going on my own Sad

lovesmycake · 07/01/2015 08:26

So sorry to hear your news almost its a horrible time so look after yourself and get lots of support from anyone you can.

Nordic we love the Norwegian system its quite relaxed so there are a few less tests (though when there is a problem they spring into action very quickly) and when it comes to labour there are less interventions. For example breech deliveries are common here they would see no need to do a caesarean. I'm British so didn't mind that it's midwife led like the uk but some of my friends did and got themselves a private dr. The benefits maternity pay and paternity leave are also very good.

nutelladipper · 07/01/2015 08:28

Julie you'll be fine lifting car seat just lift properly! My eldest didn't walk till he was 26 months and so throughout my pregnancy I was lifting him & he is not little! I ended up with a prolapsed disc as I wasn't lifting correctly. So no harm on bump but just look after yourself.

Terry yes both my booking in appointments have been at home!

X

NatalieBee · 07/01/2015 10:30

Dailylurker, Goodluck in your scan today! Not that you'll need it! Wink x

Dailylurker · 07/01/2015 11:10

TerrysNo3 · 07/01/2015 11:11

MrsGlitter · 07/01/2015 11:25

Hello ladies, can I jump in? I'm 5 weeks 2 days today, which is the day I lost my last pregnancy in June :( Over the moon but so unable to get excited just yet. Having sore boobs which I didn't get last time. Also struggling to catch a deep breath - anyone else? I'm 32, been married 18 months, together 6 years and very ready for this. Please keep your fingers crossed for us! x

Dailylurker · 07/01/2015 12:41

Congratulations mrsglitter, my fingers are crossed for you xx

nutelladipper · 07/01/2015 13:10

Congrats mrsglitter. I'm very much short of breath which I've never had until late pregnancy before. Good to hear I'm not alone! Xx

Ah Dailylurker I am so happy for you! :) makes me feel a bit less nervous about tmorrow! How many weeks does that make you now? :)

TerrysNo3 · 07/01/2015 17:04

Welcome and congrats MrsGlitter here's hoping for a sticky one this time!

Daily I can't see on my phone but that sounds awesome and fantastic for seeing the heartbeat. Did you know that risk of a mc drops massively once you've seen the heartbeat! Smile
