I'm 15+1 and have quite a big bump now but I do show early and this is second baby and being a short arse I tend to look like a weeble!!

BingoBonkers · 01/12/2014 14:59

Jazzy we have the same age gaps. Neither of my babies were easy. Still aren't now. Some days are lovely. Some are hideous! I keep focussing on the fact that once they start school and are a bit older they might calm down. Not holding my breath though. I'm hoping that this means number 3 will have read all the baby manuals and sleep when and where it's supposed to. If not I will have to revert to spending the first four months as a permanent kangaroo with a joey attached.

Hey ladies. Looking forward to another great weeks of scans from the june ladies.

I'm 11 weeks and still feeling crap. Projectile vomit this morning all over the bedroom. Not great. I think I'm one of the last for the scans. Not till 16th dec.

So who has a due date of 4th june. It could be rebecca addlington. Hi if your reading, haha

Bazza2 · 01/12/2014 15:26

I totally have a bump. I'm so used to holding my tummy in that I'm finding it odd that this is a bump of a different type to my normal belly and I can let it stick out as much as I like! I'm in H&M maternity jeans.

JennyOfOldstones · 01/12/2014 15:30

I have no bump at 13+4, just a fat tummy from eating so much crap during my sick weeks. Can definitely feel my uterus though. Tried to get DP to feel it last night and his response was 'euwww'. Not a good omen, he is super squeamish about 'women's bits' and had to walk out of a lesson about periods when he was at school Shock

JennyOfOldstones · 01/12/2014 15:32

I have three pairs of lovely stretchy M&S jeggings that I hope will take me through the next couple of months. Under a baggy top you can't tell they are not jeans!

BingoBonkers · 01/12/2014 15:48

All I keep thinking is I'm so glad it's so cold out because I can cover up in baggy jumpers. If it was spring or summer I would be stuffed.

iwantkhaleesiseyebrows · 01/12/2014 15:51

Hi ladies . Haven't been on for a while. Have major scanxiety- 12 week nuchal tomorrow.

My DD was a very high needs baby and is still extremely sensitive at 3.5 years. Didn't sleep properly until 20 months, reflux, still allergic to dairy/soya, terrible at weaning and even now doesn't really eat! She's a total human dynamo and takes after her dad who can't sit still for a minute. I wouldn't change her for the world but I'm truly hoping this new baby is more 'sloth-like' like me! I honestly don't know how I will cope if this baby is like DD and also having a preschooler.

bubalou · 01/12/2014 16:06

Glad it's not only me that had avoid 1st child and is now worried about the second.

Honestly if it's based on pregnancy then this baby will be evil! Shock

Hopefully I will get another good sleeper like me and its brother.

I can't be doing with a clingy, fussy non sleeper! What will be will be I know but here's hoping for another like DS.

Smile

Good luck tomorrow Iwant. I'm sure your anxiety is unfounded.

I've had two lovely, pretty easy going kids. DS even now at 14 is almost horizontal. Dd is a bit more of a madam (maybe it's the red hair?!) but she's generally pretty amenable. Although her new word is "Naaaaaah", accompanied by head shaking.

They are both good sleepers too, bar a massive sleep regression at 7-10 months for DD. And good eaters.

Oh God ... What monster have we created this time!?!

Chookford · 01/12/2014 17:34

Good luck tomorrow iwant sure everything will be fine

Deutschybaby · 01/12/2014 17:59

My DD is 4.5, so there'll be a 5 year age gap by the time baby arrives. My pregnancy with her was pretty ok, but, like this time, I was very tired and grumpy and I definitely lost focus on anything else!

She wasn't a particularly easy baby in that she refused a bottle, hated prams and ended up co-sleeping from about 8 months. But she is an absolute dream child - has her moments but is so well behaved, I can take her anywhere and she's really polite and sweet! She spends most of her time writing little notes and drawing pictures..

My sisters (especially the ones with boys!) have really enjoyed teasing me that I can't be that lucky twice!

I've just managed to escape for a much needed bath whilst dh entertains the kids in the 'bedtime hour'... Took my bra off and seriously think my boobs have doubled in size today! Rock hard and (for those who have b/f) got the let down feeling!!... I'm sure my nips were looking moist! Agghh thought i'd have afew months before this! (This came in 3rd trimester last time)
I've seen afew scan pics on fb, congrats girls.. So nice to see happy healthy scans x

Good luck for your scan Iwant and anyone else with scans tomorrow.

Had a really happy day today, been over to see our new house and got a move in date for 7th Jan. While we were there we went to see the school that we will hopefully be sending DS to next September. All positive steps and it feels great to be making progress with the move :)

Still feeling really sick all the time. Anyone else around 13 weeks and still feeling awful? I'm cooking some eggs for DH's sandwiches tomorrow and its making me heave!

Ots I'm still sick but I'm only 10+5, really doing my head in. Went to tesco for some stuff for meals earlier, came back with granola, yoghurt, chicken nuggets and a fruit pot! But now I want some crackers! I've got the worst heartburn, I've tried gaviscon but I can't swallow it, and when I do, it just comes straight back up in a gag reflex, tmi sorry. I've been taking 1 Zantac a day for the past few days, which I've read are safe to take. My throat is literally burning! They're not really working though. I had heartburn with both my previous pregnancies but never this bad :-(
My midwife it turns out, has forgotten to send my referral form for my scan off so, I still don't have a date! Rang today so hopefully I'll still be able to get one at the right time. I'm hoping for a home birth again this time...doesn't fill me with much confidence to be fair!
Sorry for the moany post, I'm trying to give the dh a break from listening to me whimper and moan! Congratulations on all the scan pics! They are all so clear, it's lovely to hear happy news!

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/12/2014 19:29

Me, ots!

The blissfully nausea/vomit free week 10 seems but a distant memory. Still tired too!

ememsmum · 01/12/2014 19:37

Struggling to keep up with all the chat!

Here's my naughty little monkey, wouldn't get in the perfect position for measurements so they took the nearest one, which has brought my EDD forward to 5th June. Am now 13+3, altho cannot really be more than 13w. Apparently I ovulated from both ovaries so we are (un)lucky that it's just the one! Anterior placenta which may cause me problems for a vbac but will worry about that later. 20w scan booked for 16th Jan.

Unbeknownst to me a friend was also having her 12w scan today (same hosp), she has a EDD of 6th June but at 13+3 as well.

ots still feeling pretty yuck from lunchtime onwards!

Elizabeth - me too. Give me savoury in one hand and something sweet in the other just to be sure.

Ememsmum - great scan news and at least you can tell its a baby even if it wouldn't show the camera the right angle.

I've had a long day of training with more tomorrow so I'm reading and running but wanted to say good luck for any scanees tomorrow.
