Hi everyone, had my scan today...was lovely to see it and everything looks fine, feel relieved for now. I'm amazed at how just a few years has improved the scanning equipment so much! My pictures are so clear compared to both my other children. Baby was asleep I think...it was really still and chilled out :-) Until way into the scan where I think all the poking woke it up! I'll try and post a pic in a minute.
On a downer though, today has been awful nausea wise, I'm 12+3 according to scan..(new due date of 23rd June) I was really hoping to feel better by now. But I don't :-( for some strange reason I have no real urge to tell people yet, a few close friends and family know and that's it so far. It's quite nice being a secret.
Congrats Orville! Lucky you getting an extra one :-)

Here it is! I love it's little legs, they look so baby like already!

I had a little nap this afternoon whilst the DC were intrigued by CBeebies. It's not uncommon for me to grab a short one most afternoons. I find that if I do to much round the house then a few hours later I feel really sick.

Chookford · 12/12/2014 18:59

Congrats belle lovely pic!

AnythingNotEverything · 12/12/2014 19:19

Ooh Belle - we're due date buddies! I can't see your pic as I'm on the app, but glad you had a good scan.

rolypolybird84 · 12/12/2014 20:10

Congratulations to all those who have had lovely scans!

bingo I've gained 9lbs so glad it's not just me! I feel guilty to be envious of those with much more moderate weight gains. I was very very healthy before I fell pregnant as was working hard on losing weight but now I'm struggling because of nausea and tiredness and it's getting me down!

Keep thinking I feel better and then heaving!

Hope all feeling ok today!

X

I'm back!

What a long day, but all's well, Trisomy risks are all 1/10,000 so all great there. Baby was VERY active, legs kicking about and arms waving. We had a dvd done too, it's only about 1 min long but shows the baby waving in it. Smile

Oh it's a baby.........

GIRL! Wink

sun I have until 24th May to find out!! Grin

cuphat · 12/12/2014 21:52

Congratulations on the scans!

Congrats on a girl, Tranquility! It looked like the cord was in the same area as the nub on your scan pic which may have made it look boyish (just seen the boy guesses).

I find out tomorrow! Though I'll be shocked if it's not a boy this time, my nub shot is definitely boy. If it's a girl, the thory's rubbish!

cuphat · 12/12/2014 21:53

The earliest appointment, 9.30! But I won't be able to update till later in the day as I'm out for much of the day and don't use the Internet on my phone!

Do you have a preference, sunbathing? We don't have any preference, we just want a sibling for DD.

I have no idea how people don't find out!

We've just found the baby's hb on the Doppler.

Kyz · 12/12/2014 22:14

Evening all!

Really craving spicy stuff and occasionally choklit now - I keep putting piri piri seasoning and chilli flakes on everything!

weight wise, I have put on a couple of pounds - i really didn't need them, i have plenty! However i'm doing much better than i did with DS, i put on a good five stone when I had him, and I reeeeeealllly don't want to do that again!

good luck ladies for the scans coming up! I'm not likely to get on before monday night so i'm saying it now :) Got a gender scan booked for Thursday coming up, i'll be 17w exactly. Nervous about it because I haven't felt baby yet but everything will be ok, it will it will it will

congrats on your good scan orville, glad you're going to knock about with us still :)

glad you had a good scan belle though i'm sorry you're still suffering with nausea :( hope you feel better soon! lovely pic too :)

wooohoo tranquility!! so pleased your results were good and congrats on your little girl!!

Aww thanks girls, we're thrilled. X

Congrats on your scans too Orville and belle, good news all round today!

Good luck for tomorrow cuphat, how exciting!

StopEatingThatMud · 12/12/2014 23:00

bingo in 3 months of ttc DD1, by my booking appointment I'd put on a stone and a half! kyz I gained 4 stone+ in the end too. Trying to be more sensible this time. Thankfully my appetite has been wider than plain white carbs and I can actually stomach fruit/veg this time round.

congrats on the girl tranquility Smile

HexyQueen · 12/12/2014 23:55

Finally getting round to posting my 12 week scan pix. What gender do you think, ladies? We will find out on 22/12 so not long to wait. Glad everyone is having good news & scans.

I'm sure most of my minimal weight gain has been on my tits, they are mahoosive & still sore. DP caught a feel of them today and couldn't believe the density of them!

For those with sciatic pain, Versatis 5% lidocaine patches really help to desensitise the nerves.

Gah! Now had too many failed attempts to load my scan pic from mobile. I give up! It's not the clearest anyway - baby was a real fidget (like me!). They've moved my dates on by 2 days based on measuring slightly smaller than my dates so new EDD is 27.6
