glad your scan went well tranquility also going with boy, but do be aware it's a total guess on my part as i honestly have less than no idea how to predict these things!!

Thanks Ots hexy good to know there are others out there! (I am about 5 pounds down still) I still find ovia mostly annoying and keep it because every now and then I think oh that's interesting.

6 days of work till Christmas for me :)

Urgh weight Gain. I'm meant to gain 2 stones by 24 weeks for the sake of the twins. 3500 calories a day which I am not managing. Protein shakes for me I think.

I've not gained any. I have a low bmi and will have to have extra growth scans so starting to feel a bit of pressure to gain. Hopefully Christmas eating will sort me out.

What's BV?

My ABs (I think) have given me thrush. Bright yellow whilst on the ABs and an unusual whiff but not sure if that is my pregnancy nose iyswim? Anyway contacted mw and forgot to mention the slight smell but she thinks it's due to ABs and advised lots of probiotics which I am doing otherwise go to gp and all they will do is prescribe stronger ABs and I really don't want to take a third lot in such a short time. Just hoping that's all it is and nothing else. Wondering whether I should have asked if I could drop a urine sample in or something. Perhaps I'm overthinking. Am so paranoid things will go wrong. I find pregnancy so stressful.

I weighed myself this morning out of interest, scales said 2st 10...I think they're broken I feel heavier but not desperately so, boobs are definitely bigger!

I have my scan Monday, feel really worried about it, it seems so long since I found out that I'm pregnant to the scan. I will be 12+2 for the scan, still struggling with sickness, I am managing to eat a bit more but nothing healthy. I really hope it goes for Christmas.

Is there many others still waiting for their first scans?

Sarah I’m still waiting for my scan, so I’ll join you! Mine is on Monday too when I will also be 12+2. I think they might say I’m a little bit further along (well hopefully, if everything is ok!).

My sickness has pretty much gone now. I occasionally get an odd feeling of nausea but nowhere near as bad as it was. I’m still eating total crap though.

I’m tired though, yesterday at work I would have given anything to just drop my head onto my hands and have a little snooze.

I haven’t weighed myself. My scales at home need a new battery and I haven’t quite got round to it yet, maybe I won’t bother!

Hi sarah yes I have my first scan Tuesday and will be 12 weeks exactly. Sorry to hear you're still struggling with sickness though, fx it disappears in time for the festive season, there's just too much good to eat!

Re weight gain, I don't think Ovia takes sickness, nausea and hg into consideration with it's weight calculations/predictions. I think every woman and pregnancy is going to be different, therefore I think these weight guidelines are just that, guidelines. The midwife should keep you right if there are concerns.

Saying that, at 11+3 I've gained around 3.5 pounds, feels like way more though with the amount of bloating... Violet Beauregarde anyone?

I'm 15 weeks tomorrow and have just caved and booked a gender scan for a week Monday
It's lovely to see lots of scans and happy news here, time is flying by now for me and my bump is mahoosive!!

We've got a famous bump buddy, apparently Keira Knightly is 3 months pregnant!

hi all, been out of the loop recently due to moving house - we're now in our renovation flat - which is no where near done (there is NO kitchen whatsoever!) so all a bit stressful and chaotic. I think my hormones are making things worse, feel helpless and weepy at least once a day!

Is it sad I quite like the idea of being pregnant the same time as Keira Knightly? I'm the same age as her, so she's always been one of the celebs I stupidly compare myself too (Why haven't I made a series of award-winning films by now?! Why haven't I snogged James McAvoy yet??!) so quite smug she hasn't beaten me to it on this!

Although, all the comments on her 'sporting a fuller figure' are hilarious - where??!

We had our scan today. All good and healthy in there. Early scan must have been pretty accurate though as not only have I been put right at the back if the bus, but I've fallen onto the July one! EDD has moved from June 22nd to 2nd July. I mean how blooming late did I ovulate?! Anywhoo, have got another scan booked for 29th Dec now as jumping bean (literally - Hubby proper LOLed) was too small for accurate measuring and nuchal scan. Think I will stay with you ladies on this thread, especially for now as I can always do with the extra weeks experience you all have to offer, but will hop onto the July thread too so I can share my wisdom . Bonus is that I get an extra scan out of it. Yay!
