Forty so sorry things are tough. Funny smell and discoloured discharge could be a sign of a UTI. Probably worth ringing your midwife.

oh forty - you do seem to be having a crap week. Agree with anything that it might be a uti. hope work finishes quick and you can get home to that dark comfy place. X X

Thanks guys. Managed to get through to GP after a lot of engaged ringtones, and have an appointment for tomorrow morning. Apparently they're closing at 1pm today for some reason so that's the earliest they could do. Really hope it is just a UTI. My rational self thinks it can't be anything too serious, but my anxious/stressed/exhausted self is going batsh*t with worry and is trying to drown out the rational.

forty agree with the other ladies, sounds like a UTI.. Hope the doc can offer you some reassurance tomorrow

I saw a piccy of the huge baby last night and she looks like a 3 + month old.. None of her clothes fit so they had to keep her wrapped in blankets. Elcs so didnt have to go through a traumatic birth.

Could someone remind me what that site is that will guess babys sex based on scan pic.. I couldnt make out a nub on mine but wondered if experts could see nethin.

Iwant.. Great news on the harmony results. Did u find out the sex? I know u were thinking boy?

oh no forty you need to take care of yourself today! they really do sound more like a UTI so I am sure you will find out it is all fine tomorrow -they give me a weird crampy feeling sometimes. Recommend couch and hot water bottle :)

My ovia app (really thinking about deleting it, it annoys me quite a bit) today told me I should have put on 5 pounds. Have many people done that? Is anyone else (probably those who have been fairly sick) in the same boat as me - ie below starting weight still? The app doesn't make me feel any better about it....

Jazzy, it's ingender. I've mentioned it a few times but I have nothing to do with it, honest! They'll see if anyone can. I posted on there using my ipad, I did get errors but it worked eventually.

What huge baby?

I've had my 16 week midwife appointment. All is good. Next one is at 28 weeks (as second baby)! Have a consultant appt coming up soon though due to previous section.

I've had my 20 week scan date too: 9th Jan - not long!

Forty - really hope it's nothing serious. I got a uti in last pregnancy and had cramps- sorted out by abx.

Jazzy - harmony results confirmed we are having a girl! DD (when we tell her) will be very pleased - she's a real girly girl and really not into boys. I was convinced it was a boy and only cared for a healthy baby.

I've booked a scan for this evening! Eeeek, excited! Taking my boys with me. Neither will be interested, but oh well!

I've got my 20 week scan date too, for 26th Jan. Also got a 28 week scan (which I requested at 29 weeks as I'll be finished on mat leave!) for 8th April as my last baby was severely growth restricted.

I'm going to book a gender scan for 2nd Jan. I should probably book a midwife appt for the same date.

I've been so good up until now! Now I've gone a bit scan happy!

I've decided to transfer my care at 20 weeks to one to one midwives. I wasn't sure when I'd do it, but I've decided once I've had my anomoly scan, that's it. I'm doing it!

Today has been a very nauseous day. Not good when at a birth. Not good at all .

I'm so ill today :( got a really bad cold and every time I cough it makes me sick. I've barely eaten a thing since yesterday morning and starting to feel quite dizzy now. I know I need to eat but can't swallow anything :( .

Got my 16 week appointment next Friday. Am I right in thinking MW will listen to the heartbeat?

Reporting back to say one healthy looking wiggly baby seen today! Totally overdid it on the fluids though and had to be sent out for a wee half way through (and endure the suspense of a toilet queue!!). Very happy

Yay a girl.. We're back to 50/50 boys and girls again.

Detective.. I was convinced i'd pay for loads of private scans this time but having 2 early scans, then 12 week and being told i'll need 3 extra growth scans after 20 week scan i'm not getting the gender scan.. Tbh dont think i'd fit it in between now and 12th jan neway.

hf2 I'm about 7 lbs under my pre-preg weight ( due to hyperemesis) so ovia is pissing me off too with its generalisations. But at least I'm above stupidly underweight now, I'm too thin & can't afford not to be able to put weight on at this stage but already been sick 4 times today. Bah!

forty I'm sure they'll offer but ask your GP for a high swab whilst you're there as well as just a urine sample, just a general swab I think the nurse called mine, checks for lots of things?

I had a small amount of yellow-y cm which was the only indication anything was wrong when I had BV which my swab picked up - I guess yellow and brown are similar-ish? Apparently a funny smell can also be a symptom too.

ots I know not every district does check hb at 16weeks, mine did but a friend of mine who is a little behind me hers didn't as some now believe as it's hard to find sometimes it does more harm than good and causes unnecessary worry, might be an idea to give your midwife a call and see what the procedure is where you are.

well ingender was a waste of time as it just crashes all the time like you have said --- but I found this site that has lots of gender predictions which I have posted to instead - lets see what they say!!

After faffing about for an hour checking organs and nuchal markers, we were told the NT fold is 1.4 so all looking good.

consultant advised to not have the bloods done and go by harmony results tomorrow instead.

Any guesses on the sex before we find out tomorrow? (Need to click in the pic to show the whole thing) x
