Tori sorry to hear you're still so unwell but glad you've been signed off. Hope the new drugs work.

Minor panic here. Just over 11 weeks. All symptoms bar the fuller boobs have gone. Not feel very pregnant at all, and the early low bloated bump seems to have shifted. I hope it has just moved up and therefore tucked in a bit, as I seem to remember this happening last time.

8 days until my scan and the scanxiety is ramping up. I hate to whinge about how I don't feel sick, but can someone just remind me that this is normal?! Ta!

Also, those of you who've had movement - how far along were you? I know i felt baby quite early last time and am starting to watch out for it, but suspect it's still too early (and I'm probably too fat this time!).

fortywinx · 02/12/2014 13:19

I feel your pain Tori. I'm off work again today thanks to the return of the dreaded nausea/sneeze-vomiting (my tablets ran out a few days ago and foolishly I though I might be okay seeing as I'm now almost 13w). GP has re-prescribed anti-sickness tabs without question which I have to collect later, so that's something at least!

BingoBonkers · 02/12/2014 13:23

Bugger I forgot to take my tablet before my lunch. Do you think it matters?

PerpetualStudent · 02/12/2014 13:37

anything I had a similar thing around 11 weeks - sickness trailed off, 'bump' bloat went down and felt a bit 'nothing'. Rest assured by week 12/13 I felt suitably sick and headachy again!!
Hope the scanxiety stays in check - it really is the worst feeling but chances are everything is normal and all will be fine!

AnythingNotEverything · 02/12/2014 13:40

Thanks perpetual. I'm suddenly panicked about all the people we've told and plans we've made. This parenting lark is tough.

BingoBonkers · 02/12/2014 13:54

Anything I have felt twice now a bubble travel horizontally across my tum at different times. Definitely the baby.

BingoBonkers · 02/12/2014 14:01

We haven't told anyone apart from mil but it's so obvious and I really wanted to wait until my Harmony results are in....... Seeing two friends this week and it would be the perfect opportunity to tell them but then I think I should hang on.

AnythingNotEverything · 02/12/2014 14:14

And how far along we're you bingo?

cuphat · 02/12/2014 15:30

I've felt tiny movements from around 10-11 weeks, I mentioned it on here a week or so after they started. A quick google suggested it isn't unusual for second (etc) pregnancies. They're not regular, but I might feel them a couple of times a day. They're hard to describe.

AnythingNotEverything · 02/12/2014 15:34

Google seems to say 12-13 weeks for second/third pregnancies. Just desperate for some sign things are ok I think.

That 2ww is just the start of the bloody waiting, isn't it?!

cuphat · 02/12/2014 15:41

Try not to worry as every pregnancy is different. I think I'd googled movements at 10 weeks as that's when mine started and loads of stories came up. It could be that baby is too small, or you'll have an anterior placenta this time etc. I'm making the most of them as knowing my luck my placenta will grow anterior again and I won't be feeling much throughout pregnancy again.

AnythingNotEverything · 02/12/2014 15:48

Thanks Cup. I'm just being silly. 8 more days to wait ...

Hi ladies - thanks for all your kind comments yday. I haven't caught up on thread properly yet but just a quick post to say all went well at scan today. My new EDD is 14 June. Have come back low risk on nuchal/combined and they saw a bladder (my first baby didn't have any kidneys/bladder) so this is a massive relief. I'm going to be scanned again at 16 and 20 weeks at fetal medicine unit at tommies due to my history but they reassured me it's more to give peace of mind. Phew.

I think I've gone scan crazy as I also have my 13 week scan at FMC next week - should also find out then if it's a boy or a girl... All I care is that the baby is healthy but DD (who doesn't know I'm pregnant) was saying last night she only likes girl babies Shock I have a real strong feeling this is a boy....

ovaltine · 02/12/2014 17:54

Hello! Can I join in? Pregnant with 2nd, 13+5 and due 4th June. I hate being pregnant! I'm never normally ill but get hyperemesis plus and other illness that fancies infecting me. Just over sinus infection, HG far better managed this time, mainly mega nausea not as much puking, thought it had gone so stopped taking my tablets. Not the best idea!! And I've got heartburn. And a devil DD (whose 3).

Belle we're scan date buddies. So nice to still hear those reporting 10+ and 11+ weeks. Feel so behind and am getting desperate to tell my family now. Just 10 days to go until we hopefully know everything is OK.

Ive been a bit quiet the last few days as I've got my annual reccurent training at work this week and it's hellish. Long days in our office doing training and exams then home to several hours revision every night. 2 days down, 4 to go! Just such a bloody waste of time really as my scan is on the 12th so as long as all is well, I'll be "grounded" and no more flying for me! Just got to get through a trip to Istanbul next week and avoid the dreaded booze again, then 2 there and backs and I'm done! Very weird feeling as it's all I've done for 10.5 years. Not sure how I'll cope with this regaular 9 till 5 malarky. Im thinking badly!

Good to hear all the recommendations on slings. I literally have no idea where to start with all this stuff so will go into organisation overdrive after the scan. Shame we cant really buy anything until really late as we're having an extension & the chimney taken out of our house starting March next year so anything we buy will get filthy before it's finished (hopefully late May) Hmm

Newgirl33 · 02/12/2014 18:32

I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow. Feeling really nervous - I hope everything will be ok I seem to have lost my one pregnancy symptom of extreme tiredness.

Best of luck to everyone else with scans coming up.

sparkle17 · 02/12/2014 19:36

Good luck for your scan tomorrow newgirl

Chookford · 02/12/2014 20:11

Good luck tomorrow new will look forward to some more lovely scan pics!

Tryingreallyhard84 · 02/12/2014 20:22

Good luck tomorrow newgirl!

Hello to the newer members. June 2015 is going to be a busy month for the Nhs at this rate. Grin

Day two of training done and dusted for me. A busy one tomorrow as a colleague has asked for some support on some last minute stuff. Another reason for me to procrastinate on my own work.

I seem to have lost a few symptoms along the way this week as well. A little nervous but as each pregnancy is different, I'm trying nit to panic.

To those feeling crap, I hope you take it as easy as you can.

Bellejessleo · 02/12/2014 20:23

Orville roll on the 12th! God I don't envy you, flying while early preg would be my idea of a nightmare! I have a good friend who works for virgin as a flight attendant, she's ttc baby number 2 at the moment! She's worked part time since her first child was born and it's actually surprisingly a child friendly job. She gets loads of time off in the week and mainly does her flights over weekends. I'm feeling very behind too! Its annoying being the end of June..I'm thinking it'll probably be a July baby anyway. I'm 11 wks tomorrow and I can't wait to tell people too, it's getting difficult to hide as I definitely have a little bump now and I just look hormonal! If you know what I mean.
