I'm exactly the same. I seem to have more discharge than usual and keep rushing to the loo expecting to see blood. I even dreamt about it last night.

I keep having cramps on and off and getting worried about that too. I'm looking forward to more symptoms too buy like you gakay I'm sure I will regret it when it does kick in!

Shantotto · 03/12/2014 10:55

gakay yeah I'm going to the London City ultrasound direct, thought it would just be simpler than making excuses to the inlaws! I rang them and they said the extra two days shouldn't make a difference and I should be able to see a heartbeat. Good luck on the 19th! I'll only 6wks6 days - time seems to be crawling by and all I want is to it magically be 9 months from now and there is a tiny baby here!

After saying I'm not feeling much I've say at my desk at work feeling quite sick and dizzy and crampy! Blerg! Again though I'm almost convinced I'm imagining it. Confused

whitwoochantelle · 03/12/2014 12:05

Waiving quietly due the 10th

AliOh · 03/12/2014 13:42

Tentatively posting here. I just got my bfp this morning. Slightly in shock, this is dc2 for us. DS 1 is only just 7 months. I only stopped BFing about 3 weeks ago and DP works away 3 weeks out of 4 so can't even believe I caught! Can't quite believe I'll be doing this all over again so soon! I could possibly be due mid July although I think it's more likely mid August as bfp was very faint.

AliOh · 03/12/2014 14:24

I've just caught up on the rest of the thread. So sorry to all of you who have suffered mc so early on Flowers early pregnancy is such a worrying time, unfortunately the worrying never stops even when they come out Grin

birchwoods · 03/12/2014 14:59

Goldie and Rub, my heart goes out to you. I hope you find some reassurance on the TTC after MC thread. I can't imagine what you're going through.

birchwoods · 03/12/2014 15:20

Gakay, shantotto, Ice, I am exactly the same, I am so paranoid that I won't be pregnant any more. I did another test on Monday night just to be sure and it had a stronger line than on Saturday so that's good. But I want this so much and nothing (especially not work) seems to take my mind off it.
I have booked an early scan on 21st, I will 6+6, same as when you have your Shan! I hope we get to see something that will put our minds at ease.

The only symptom I have is sore boobs, I've had no discharge and no cramps. The past two nights I've been unable to sleep on my front as my boobs are sore, which I love, as it means something is happening! We must be crazy wishing morning sickness on ourselves but I really want to feel sick!

I can't believe how slowly the days are going by. I am useless at work as all I want to do is (secretly) obsess over pregnancy websites. I keep getting waves of anxiety that something will go wring followed by waves of excitement and happiness, followed by more anxiety. Trying to be of the 'what will be will be' school of thought but it's hard!

Brummiegirl15 · 03/12/2014 15:45

I've just booked my early scan!! Booked for 17th and I will 6+5 so really hoping I see a hb.

The lady at EPAU was so lovely said normally you only self refer due to bleeding or pain but as I was on my 3rd pregnancy after mc (and no dc ) she took pity on me.

Feel sick with fear at what the scan will show

nannynome · 03/12/2014 15:55

I have doctors appointment in morning so should get midwife appointment through after that. Apart from tiredness I am symptomless now but that was the same last time round. It makes it weird as nothing seems to be happening. I do have a stinking cold though which is making me feel abysmal and I can't take anything for it :(

Flowers to Goldie and Rub, so sorry you are going through that.

gakay · 03/12/2014 16:57

shan am also getting scan with ultrasound direct but different branch.

Am getting quite a bit of discharge which makes me worried that I might be bleeding. And each time I go to pee I feel so relieved when I see no blood. People might start wondering why I look so happy coming out of the loo.

Looks like quite a few of us will be having early scans around the same time. It's scary time. But also need to remind ourselves that early scans can be very confusing and we'll need to remind each other not to worry too much about ambiguous results.

And welcome to all the newbies x

birchwoods · 03/12/2014 18:02

Very true gakay. I also find it reassuring that every person in the world, ever, was once a tiny 4 wk old embryo and successful pregnancy so nature must be doing something right.

AliOh · 03/12/2014 19:05

Have just taken a cb digital which confirms this will be an August baby so can I officially join the club? Grin

rachywhite83 · 03/12/2014 19:25

Im glad I'm not the only one feeling like I do ! Reading your posts is making me feel better. I have got sore boobs and mega tired ( I'm typing this from my bed.) I have also been cramping a bit but my worst symptom is heart burn. Didn't think that came till the end !

AliOh · 03/12/2014 19:31

I had loads of cramps in early pg last time rachy the symptoms come and go. When I had sickness I was just wishing for it to end and then if it stopped I panicked and was wishing for it to come back Grin

Mummytogoldie · 03/12/2014 20:31

I went fir scan today and mc was confirmed so I shall leave you lovely ladies x good luck to everyone and hopefully will see you in a year or so on the parenting boards x

daisysunshine2 · 03/12/2014 21:22

mummytogoldie big hugs, so sorry you've mc Flowers the TTC after mc thread is amazing and really supportive. Hope to see you back on an antenatal thread very soon!

rachy I feel exactly the same as you! Really sore boobs and really tired. I had cramping the day AF was due (Monday) but none since.. I worry when I've got it and I worry when I don't! My body just can't win! I do have bad heartburn though but not very nauseous. I thought the heartburn came at the end too!

Who have people booked their private scans with? I want to book one before Christmas but the only place I could find only scans from 7 weeks and I'll only just be 7 weeks 4 days at Christmas, any ideas?

Poppy86 · 04/12/2014 06:39

Hi ladies, can I have some advice please? I'm 5-6 weeks, bfp getting stronger every couple of days but woke up this morn to brown discharge. I've read it's fairly common and haven't had any pain yet.... But was planning on telling my dad the news today as its his birthday but now I'm worrying I shouldn't incase it turns to bad news... Like I'm tempting fate Sad

Has anyone else has similar symptoms? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Shantotto · 04/12/2014 06:50

daisy I called ultrasound direct and they said they suggest from 7 weeks as then it's easier to see a heartbeat but it's fine to go a few days before - I'd call and ask them.

Quite a few of us are going before 7 weeks so it's worth a try.

Good luck to everyone getting scans! I can't concentrate on anything other than if the baby is ok, better try and get some work done today!

daisysunshine2 · 04/12/2014 06:51

Brown discharge can be completly normal, it's only if you have any red blood you need to contact GP/ midwife. Unfortunately I miscarried in September and that started with brown discharge then the next morning had red streaks.
Don't want to worry you but thought its best to be honest Flowers

daisysunshine2 · 04/12/2014 06:52

Thank you shantotto think I'll be giving them a call! :)

Poppy86 · 04/12/2014 07:20

No definitely daisy-thank you. Il just have to keep an eye on it over the next couple of days

clairexxx · 04/12/2014 08:18

Hi, could I join you all please? I got my bfp yesterday! I'm very excited but a little bit overwhelmed too. I think I'm due in August but I've been experiencing fluttering in my tummy in the evening and not sure if it's too soon. This is my first baby so any advice would be greatly appreciated! I'm sure I'm 4 weeks but I can't help but wonder if AF, which lasted 3 days in October (was very light compared to normal) was not AF after all. I did poas after and was bfn. Maybe the fluttering is gas? I just hope it's nothing to worry about!

gakay · 04/12/2014 10:31

Welcome claire hmmm it's difficult to know for sure. Do you have any symptoms and when did you start noticing your symptoms? That might give you a clue. If you've not noticed any symptoms like sore boobs until very recently then it's perhaps more likely that you are 4 weeks rather than 8 weeks. And what's the line on the stick like? Dark or faint?

Aaahhh. Is it just me or are you girls also struggling to concentrate at work? Can't wait for Xmas to come!

clairexxx · 04/12/2014 10:48

I've been keeping a daily record noting everything, even slight things that might be symptoms! I think I took ttc a little too far. Oops. Last month I really thought I was pregnant. I had sore boobs, felt nauseous and was very tired. I thought I saw a faint line when I tested but I could quote honestly be imagining it. My husband said he could see something too so I did a digital test and said not pregnant. Sorry for tmi but I had brown discharge 2 days before I had AF (3 days of very light bleeding). My order of Internet cheapie tests arrived so I took one and nothing. I used OPKs and got a positive on 20th Nov and had low mild cramps 2 days after. A week later my lower back ached, 10 days later I felt bloated and my boobs felt full! That's the only way I can describe it. I started to get faint lines from Sunday and darker lines yesterday plus a pregnant reading on the digital one. I wasn't quite expecting to have a fluttering sensation. It's not all the time, just in an evening for the last couple of days.

I'm struggling to concentrate too! Trying to distract myself with Christmas stuff but I swear I keep seeing more babies around than usual!

xBlueberry88x · 04/12/2014 11:59

Hi ladies I got my bfp a couple of days ago after 20 months of ttc 1.

EDD 10th August

Been crampy for days and the worst cold.
