Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 16th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

So I have either forgotten or lost my phone today (it's either in the car at the station or lost to the train system) and feel like I've had my right arm cut off. Plus we have our work xmas do tonight and I'm in a ridiculously short but loose-fitting dress, as it is the only evening-type thing that doesn't make me look very pregnant, and stupidly high heels of the type I haven't worn since I had DD. All I want to do is head home, see if I've actually lost my phone or not, hit the couch and order takeaway with DH... I know it's a first world problem but do I really have to go to a posh venue, sit down to dinner with 200 colleagues and make small talk without any relieving alcohol???? Xmas Confused

Hi all.
Plodding along here, have a horrendous cold to tend with also.. Booo
Funeral is next Thurs, so I'll officially be overdue then.
Mw came and has booked me in for a growth/presentation scan as she cannot for the life of her tell where the baby is.
She mentioned it could be breech as the bit that's previously been head was quite wide.
I'm sure it's head down tho.
So, if breech, it's a c section.. Joy

Oh crap Min, this is most definitely your annus horibilis. Poor you and poor minimin. I hope you can avoid the c section, and everything works out as best it possibly can for you to attend the funeral. Huge hugs.

ChatEnOeuf · 04/12/2014 19:38

Popz I'm a neonatal doc, so not a million miles away. My doctoring skills are pretty transferable, it's the natty combination of red tape and French ability that stops me. I'm one of these annoying people who loves their job so I do miss it. If we were to stay here long term I'd definitely get a training post. Probably not good to say to parents that their baby is sick but be unable to offer any more info Blush so not for now.

Oh Min it's just one thing after another - really hope the baby is head down and stays put happily until Friday or you need an excuse to excuse yourself from family

ZylaB · 04/12/2014 19:51

min you're doing amazingly well, try not to worry. You've done everything you can and what will be will be. If baby Is breech there's nothing you can do, but maybe ask for CS after the funeral? If baby is head down, then again, what will be will be, just try not to worry, you're having a hard enough time of it as it is!

ZylaB · 04/12/2014 19:54

Just realised, think I start third trimester tomorrow woohoo! (It is 27 weeks yes?)

Minion · 04/12/2014 19:55

Thanks girls.
In all honesty I'd prefer a c sec before the funeral so I know im Def gonna be there. It will also be a lift for everyone that day who would get to meet the little tinker. I asked what timescale for one is round here, it's 39 weeks so they wouldn't keep me waiting sue danger of cord prolapse or something.
Deffo my annus horibillus, yes.
Now I feel like the queen

Oh min I just want to reach through the phone and hug you and tell you it's all going to be ok (eventually). This is going to be a really shit time but whenever it feels unbearable think of the little baby you'll be holding in a few weeks time.

I hope they can give you some answers about minimin soon. Soon it will be a new year...

RPopz · 04/12/2014 20:34

Ah min - I hope you're right and miniminion is still head down. I can't see s/he would've turned without you noticing it! Hmm How overdue will you be on Thursday? Seconding La with the phone hugs xx

Minion · 04/12/2014 20:39

I'll be 40+1 (that's scary man)!
Tmi, but I've also started to lose my plug too, though I know it can be a while before anything happens.

wilmabedrock · 04/12/2014 20:39

Gosh funerals take such a long time in England don't they? Sorry you're going through all this Min, hope you don't need the CS xx

I say 'pump' (to children), it's definitely a Scottish thing too.

Are you learning French at the moment then Chat? Is MrChat a doctor too?

I'm in such a quiet period of pregnancy. Feel like there's nothing much now until the week or two before DDay when they panic you about baby's position, levels of x,y,z in your blood and mention the horrible 'induction' word.

RPopz · 04/12/2014 20:57

That does seem a long time really, by anywhere's standards... Sad

Leela5 · 04/12/2014 21:36

I'm half scots half Geordie so it could be either side wil!

RPopz · 04/12/2014 22:39

What an accent La!! Grin

Pisghetti · 04/12/2014 22:42

Hope you get some answers and a plan soon Min

Hope your phone turns up Fresh

Went to mum's for tea tonight. Stopped at tesco on the way home to pick up some gaviscon (it's come to that....) and found my mum's phone in my bag. I must have picked it up on my way out. What a numpty! Hour long round trip to return it. Earlier today I realised after my lunchtime wee I should have saved some for the midwife. Finished my drink so popped to the loos to rinse out the bottle to get some more water in me and went for another wee without thinking. I worry about myself at the moment. It's a wonder I can work out how to leave the house of a morning Hmm

wilmabedrock · 04/12/2014 22:49

Haha Pis, I do stuff like that all the time, pregnant or not. Pretty sure I'll have dementia by 50. Do you have the Geordie complexion La? (bright orange) Wink .

freshstart4us · 04/12/2014 23:57

Happy to report phone is safe and sound, recovered from passenger seat of car where it sat undisturbed all day! That would NEVER have happened in Australia, the slightest hint of a valuable will result in your car window broken in and vehicle rifled accordingly, if not stolen outright. England has so many things going for it that English never appreciate! Xmas Grin

freshstart4us · 04/12/2014 23:57

Love the wee/forget/wee cycle Pis! Lol

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 03:50

Glad you found it fresh!

Wil I have Scottish complexion - white as a ghost, never tanning! Tried fake and looked like a freak. I like to think I'm dita von teese looking after my skin (not the stripping bit)

Mr La just came home blootered! He couldn't speak. I hate him because the fumes are making me feel sick and he's snoring. Yuck

wilmabedrock · 05/12/2014 06:40

Yuck La, kick him out of bed. Couldn't deal with drunk fumes with first tri spidey sense of smell. Mr Wil was already arranging a birthday/wetting baby's head night out with his friends the other day. I'm glad that that's pretty much all the planning he has to do surrounding the impending birth Hmm . Whilst I'm worrying about how to squeeze a human out of my fanjo and about how the sleepless nights plus toddler filled days may kill me. I told him to go out before my due date instead.

Fresh would that really happen in Oz? We did once get our Sat Nav nicked when we not me left it out though so I guess it depends. Love Australia, very cool country. Would love to go back but so frigging expensive to get there.

laurenamium · 05/12/2014 07:17

Morning! Im half way pregnant tomorrow Grin

Fresh where in Australia are you from? It's my favourite place! I have family over there so I go yearly but not next year Smile

Exciting that you're nearly in 3rd trimester pis Grin you're exactly 7 weeks ahead of me!

Having quite a few pains across my stomach last night and today. Not crampy period ones though, more like stretching and pulling. Going to enjoy a day off wild Mindee and settle with baby cuddles and 3 year olds today Grin

Pisghetti · 05/12/2014 07:26

Think that's Zyla - I'm 25+4

Making an executive decision to start late today. We've been given an early finish (for the Christmas party) but I usually start an hour before everyone else anyway. Not today! Sausage bap for breakfast Grin

MW let me record her listening to the heartbeat Smile

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 07:28

Hooray for milestones!

I've reached one today - I'm 8 weeks. Never got to 8 weeks before Smile

Slow and steady, counting off the weeks. I have a little kidney bean with the start of fingers and toes. Incredible.

I'm going to kill my dh later today. He has shifted about, poked me, hit me, moved to my side of the bed, snored. I hate drunk sleepers. I slept until 3:30 then was awake until 6:30. I've got to train 25 colleagues today :(

Boo, dh, boo!

Leela5 · 05/12/2014 07:28

Awww pis that's lovely

wilmabedrock · 05/12/2014 07:42

I'd be fecking raging on a school night La.

Hurrah for milestones! How old is the baby Lauren?
