Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 16th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Ha, yes Boo. I got admitted at 7w with a bleeding/fainting/?ectopic episode. Wasn't good, I knew more than the doc who admitted me Hmm

Ooh, Lauren that's a shame, as you say I wonder if things will peter out in the next year or so. What's up with your new mindee?

laurenamium · 03/12/2014 20:17

Oh mindee is wild chat! I need to convince his mum that speech therapy is essential as a starting point. He's nearly 3 and has 3 words...and I want to try to work on his behavior for a month or so as I can see changes in him in just the few days I've had him Smile he never bit me today at least! Also need to get him to a point ready to toilet train and work with the family around healthy diet etc, I have 3 months before he starts a school nursery Shock

laurenamium · 03/12/2014 20:18

Work on his behavior for a month or so before considering play therapy etc I mean**

wilmabedrock · 03/12/2014 20:36

Jeez Lauren, that sounds tough. Not an easy conversation to have with parents. I don't miss it but miss having a career path. Need to retrain in something somehow but no clue what.

laurenamium · 03/12/2014 20:53

I think that's what worries me a bit wil! I have no pension unless I save it myself and nothing to aim for long term as far as promotions etc. I thought about looking to open my own nursery but I'm not sure I would want to really! Still, I have a while until this cucumber in my womb is full time school so I have plenty of time to think about it Grin

TheBooMonster · 03/12/2014 20:54

I was gonna say chat to have kept it from work for the whole pregnancy and then say 'btw have had a baby, won't be in tomorrow' seemed a bit insane! Argh! that's not something that fills you with confidence in their ability!

laurenium what's your experience with speech therapy? in our area the Speech and Language Therapists won't take referrals till the children are three, but DD has just turned 2 and only has 'yes' (yep) "no" "urrr" and "yuck" other than that she communicates entirely in animal noises, spirals on her front (for crayons) noms (for food) and slurps (for drink). I understand her perfectly for the most part, but MiL is having kittens about it all...

laurenamium · 03/12/2014 21:04

I wouldn't worry too much at just turned 2 boo Smile ill have a look at the EYFS guidance for that age in the morning when I'm not in bed! I've had to refer another mindee in the past but again it was when he was nearly 3. I don't think they worry too much until its nearly nursery/ school time to be honest as some children just take longer to pick it up! Your DD has lots of animal noises etc so that's positive! I found with DD that all her words came at once, I think she maybe only had about 10 words at her 2 year check but lots of animal noises etc and the health visitors weren't concerned.

This little ones only been missed as hes come over from Ireland recently so hasn't seen any health visitors/ professionals since he's been born

laurenamium · 03/12/2014 21:16

Disclaimer: I'm not in any way a speech professional. At all Smile so I could be totally wrong!

TheBooMonster · 03/12/2014 21:23

lauren I wasn't all that worried, but when MiL finds every single opportunity to tell you there's something wrong with DD it starts to eat away at you a bit! I'm fully expecting that once bump is here she'll start talking because we will have less time to interpret her noises and signs, and once she's talking I'm sure she will never ever stop, so I'm taking the time to enjoy the relative quiet, but it's always good to hear someone say they're not worried about her :D She even has chicken and parrot, I'm sure lots of 2 year olds don't have chicken down to a T :P

wilmabedrock · 03/12/2014 21:28

I was going to PM you Boo but can't on the app. There's quite a good book called Small Talk (think that's the name, will check tomorrow).

My nearly 2.5 year old is seen by S&L. They appear to be more concerned with lack of understanding than lack of speech at this stage. So if you think she understands you fine, I wouldn't worry. I don't think I'm all that concerned to be honest but you have to go along with it in case they're right.

JuniDD · 04/12/2014 04:02

Hello, quick end of night feed post! I didn't tell anyone at work until 20 or so weeks. I wore long scarves over my tummy and loose shell tops. I didn't go on about wanting a baby at all so people were not expecting it nor anticipating a bump!

DD smiles now! xx

wilmabedrock · 04/12/2014 06:30

I know I say this every day but I don't wanna get up Angry .

How cute Juni. They change so fast don't they?

DulcetMoans · 04/12/2014 06:53

Morning! I had lie in opportunity this morning so of course I am up earlier than normal. Thought I'd had a good night sleep until I saw the time.

Off to Belgium today. Probably have to tell the friends we are going with (just two of them) as they will question why I went all the way to Belgium with no intention of festive drinks!

laurenamium · 04/12/2014 06:59

Morning viroids! Have a lovely time in Belgium dulcet!

I had really weird dreams last night! I keep dreaming about ex boyfriends Confused

Leela5 · 04/12/2014 07:39

Morning all. Have fun in Belgium dulcet lucky moo

juni how cute Grin

I'm having a weird week viroids. After scan on tues I felt more relaxed obviously and also we fooled around a bit tues night first time since bfp. I had an orgasm.

Since tues my cramps have gone and also this morning I don't feel sick like I have been at this time of the morning. I'm wondering whether the cramps are gone because I'm more relaxed, or perhaps the orgasm contractions shifted something and whatever was hurting now isn't? I had a corpus luteum in left tube at scan so perhaps it's moved.

Pregnancy really does play tricks on the mind! I didn't sleep well again last night, I'm so tired.

laurenamium · 04/12/2014 07:59

Yay for orgasms curing cramps la Grin

This is the longest week ever Hmm why is it not at least the weekend yet?

Pisghetti · 04/12/2014 08:14

It is Lauren! Both me and DP thought it was Thursday yesterday.

I got to bed early and slept like the dead last night. Alarm was most unwelcome Hmm I'm really bunged up so I think I'm getting a cold. I always feel like poop until my face explodes with snot and then I feel better.

MW today. Might ask if she minds me recording the baby's heartbeat as neither DP or DS have heard it yet.

Fleurchamp · 04/12/2014 08:15

Just had to google corpus luteum - never heard of it! I believe myself to be reasonably intelligent but I am learning so much being pregnant.

Other than that, I must have been asleep in biology lessons Blush

My cramps come and go, yesterday was quite bad but this morning I feel fine. No DTD here, DH has been away with work and isn't back until Saturday Sad I really miss him. More than usual.

Leela5 · 04/12/2014 08:30

It is really interesting fleur! Last time the CL was on my right tube so prime example of how you alternate the side you ovulate on.

I'm not feeling nauseous today yet. It normally kicks in at about 10, which is just when I'll be going into a meeting

DulcetMoans · 04/12/2014 08:42

I am lucky Smile but it's just a groupon. Back Saturday. Not sure if they have Internet over there in them foreign-lands so could have a bit to catch up on my then. chat - are you in Belguim? Can't remember where you are!

9weeks today. Slowly but surely checking them off!

Great timing for your meeting la, take some water!

wilmabedrock · 04/12/2014 08:54

I'd love a holiday right about now. Hope you don't spew in your meeting La!

Leela5 · 04/12/2014 09:56

My ms doesn't seem to be here today. Hmm...

ZylaB · 04/12/2014 10:57

Morning all, have a good time dulcet

I also feel shit, am coming down with a cold, and being ill fucks up sugar levels so I'm testing more but my batteries have gone! I'm using my spare machine but don't have many strips for it, bloody Amazon need to hurry up with my batteries, they're not normal ones!

ChatEnOeuf · 04/12/2014 11:00

It'll hit you when you're least expecting/prepared for it, La.

Yes, Dulcet, in this 'ere foreign land there is indeed t'internet, but not much free wifi. We're in Brussels - if you're here, enjoy the market, it's excellent with the single exception of the escargot stall.

ChatEnOeuf · 04/12/2014 11:02

Fleur, I went to medical school and there's a whole lot about pregnancy I didn't know. Found out a lot of it last time Grin

I had the most horrific dream last night, DH divorced me Sad - and he's not here this morning to beat up about it.
