Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 16th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 33rd outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids!

Ooooh! Brilliant boo! Congratulations :)

RPopz · 27/11/2014 17:55

Sorry I've been awol all day!

Hope you're ok Zyla, that is pretty crappy of your maternity services!! Why 26 weeks!? You have anterior placenta like me iirc? Could just be that she's moved in such a way that you can't feel her movements. Movements are not always kicky and outwards iyswim. I guess you can't really go overboard on sugar to get her wiggling either Sad GX for tomorrow. Hugs and keep calm Brew Thanks

CM and gallons of it La? Good symptom, no worries! Smile Lie in and shopping sounds lovely Smile Very impressed you got so much Christmas stuff bought! Shock

Yay for sleeps Ness Smile

Yay for team pink Boo! Grin Glad the party went well too.

34 week app today and minipopz is still upside down thankfully... Next appointment is Christmas Eve!! Shock

Thinking of you Min x

RPopz · 27/11/2014 18:15

Oh, La - my original plan was for it to not really be a baby shower.... It was just supposed to be having a few friends round for cake and chats Smile But a friend trumped me by having hers a week ago with a buffet and military precision organised activities and games! Shock Turns out that's what people are expecting now...

JuniDD · 27/11/2014 18:15

Hello, one handed typing on phone under sleeping DD. Lots of love to you zyla. xx

ness, you lucky thing! DD now won't go longer than three hours but has done five. She is a screamer hence little time and energy to post but she is so cute and getting bigger by the day (well feels like it). Good for you having your mum helping
I've got both parents roped in.

Miss chatting with you all! xx

RPopz · 27/11/2014 18:26

Good to hear from you Juni!

Leela5 · 27/11/2014 18:36

Hi juni!

Popz can you do some easy stuff like pizzas and let people fend for themselves? Or ask folk to bring something each - a game and a dish?

Leela5 · 27/11/2014 18:43

Mums gone to get fish and chips. I'm on couch with fire on. There's no washing/work/cleaning to do.

Can I stay here forever?

RPopz · 27/11/2014 18:50

Definitely sounds like the best thing to do La Smile

Yeah, I'm not going to bother trying to match hers. Cake and crisps and maybe some fizzy wine, that's their lot!

ChatEnOeuf · 27/11/2014 19:01

Sounds wonderful La, as good as frites are here, I miss proper fish and chips. Excellent news on the CM. Me too Grin

That's shit, Zyla. I really hope MiniZ perks up. If you're not happy I'd be tempted to call up and lie about dates. Women do it all the time that's an exaggeration and dating scans aren't 100%. I've never understood that arbitrary cut-off. I don't recommend using a home doppler unless you're going to watch the numbers and listen for half an hour, noting every change in HR. Alternatively, try the hospital on the other side of town...different MW on duty Wink - both units are great should you need to deliver, which you won't.

Lovely cake, Boo :)

wilmabedrock · 27/11/2014 19:02

If it's reassuring at all zyla, I have had a few quiet days with this bump and then things have picked up again. I know it sounds weird but try singing. I was singing songs with MiniWil today and the baby was going crazy. Or sometimes doing some stretches can encourage movement.

Hi Juni! Does she have colic? Hope you're not too stressed and knackered.

Yeah La, mucus totally normal (and minging).

Congratulations on a pink one Boo.

wilmabedrock · 27/11/2014 19:05

I agree with trying alternative hospitals if you're worried or rocking up to a&e. For the sake of a day they are being ridiculous. Maybe you should get on to this Count the kicks campaign. They are promoting a message which the hcp aren't following through with.

Minion · 27/11/2014 19:39

Hi girls, thank you so much for thinking of me, it means a lot.
Dad has been confined to bed for a week, very thin and weak and need to sleep a lot.
When he's awake it takes a while for him to gather himself and then he can chat for short bursts.
That's the morphine I guess.
It's totally shit but my 2 aunts are staying 24/7 and he is totally surrounded in love.
I got here safely and got in to see Mw this morning, same one as I.spoke to on phone.
She constantly talked over me etc but the concensus is baby is head down (yay), facing the left (yay) bp and wee all good. Just not engaged..Grrrrrrrr.

Sorry if I can't ref other people's posts, my head is mashed tbh but I'm reading and laughing along etc. Thank you again

Glad things are all fine with Minion Min. Midwife sounds like a nightmare. Thinking of your Dad Thanks

Pisghetti · 27/11/2014 20:44

Glad all is okay with mini-on. Sorry to hear your dad is in a bad way x

Zyla did your community midwife have a Doppler to listen in to the baby? It does seem incredibly petty for the sake of a day. I went to the MLU so they don't actually have monitoring equipment but they did give me the option of the CLU as well.

Pisghetti · 27/11/2014 21:12

Welcome to team pink Boo!

Good to hear from you Juni Smile

JuniDD · 27/11/2014 21:27

Hugs to you minion. xx

I have fast let down so baby gulps at the breast and ends up very windy. I am getting to grips with it but it's demanding to pat her down every time she pops off which is often! Anything to avoid hours and hours of screaming though!

Am finding recovery from it all rather slow but trying not to compare myself to others and make the most of the support from my lovely family.

xx

RPopz · 27/11/2014 21:27

Sorry you're having to deal with a dickhead midwife as well as everything else Min Hmm X

RPopz · 27/11/2014 21:28

Ah Juni. They don't call it the fourth trimester for nothing! You take your time xxxx Brew Thanks

wilmabedrock · 27/11/2014 21:37

It took me ages to recover last time Juni, it's definitely not a race. Brew Support is everything.

DulcetMoans · 27/11/2014 21:46

Glad you are there and supported min.

Yay for girl boo! Did you have any inklings beforehand?

Sorry you are finding it tough juni, hope you have some good RL support. Look after yourself.

I'll join the CM crew, still knicker checking to make sure it isn't blood!

Forgot to tell you all about my docs appointment with student doctor. They had warned me he would be there, my GP let him lead. He was pretty bad! He didn't know what to ask, I had to prompt him! It was all silent and doc wouldn't give him any more hints so I was like 'what sort of things might I not eat?'. He didn't know. Then she asked him why she would give me a flu jab. Nothing. So why might she have a flu jab, as a doctor. Nothing. Rage face! He's a final year I think - didn't know what listeria was! I know they can't know everything but come on!

In poo news, did a dulcet this morning but didn't feel complete Confused

RPopz · 27/11/2014 21:56

Haha, bless you for prompting him though Dulce!

wilmabedrock · 27/11/2014 22:04

Oh my god Dulcet, I would have been cringing. Hate situations like that. I bet he was nervous and just had a blank (I hope anyway).

wilmabedrock · 27/11/2014 22:25

Restless legs are giving me anxiety. I'm a freak.

Hope all ok Zyla.

RPopz · 27/11/2014 22:53

Lol Wil ... why?

JuniDD · 27/11/2014 22:55

Thanks darlings. Went to a postnatal group thing and felt very different to all of them! Oh well, it's nice for DD to spend so much time with her grandparents!

Omg dulcet that sounds painful. I love student midwives mind you. Restless legs are normal wil don't stress.

I don't miss being pg I have to say! But do enjoy your naps! Wink
