Scottishgal78 · 25/12/2014 22:57

Congratulations Sunshine! Hope everyone has had a lovely day! MIL gave us a little teddy she had knitted. So sweet!

Fluffeh · 26/12/2014 07:07

Congratulations sunshine! We'd love a ring picture if you can post one x

Dd had a lovely day. I over ate and spent all afternoon and evening with heartburn. Serves me right for stuffing my face haha.
I hope everyone had a lovely day. Now we have a sober new year to look forward too but within 5 months we'll be meeting our babies yay!

KittyVonCatsington · 26/12/2014 08:18

Another one here with heartburn Xmas Blush I awoke at 3.30 with it! I nice bath soak with some of my new Mum To Be bath products helped!

Chookford · 26/12/2014 09:07

bradders85 · 26/12/2014 09:45

congrats sunshine. we had a lovely day yesterday, hope you all did too. I have left over chocolate gateaux in the fridge which I am going to gobble today all by myself!!! Shock

Threesoundslikealot · 26/12/2014 09:54

Congratulations, Sunshine!

I must confess to not being at all strict on the food stuff this time round. I've eaten everything on the banned list except pâté. Blush

And I also bleed when I poo. In my case it's a fissure, which I've had on and off for years. Nothing worrying, just unpleasant and sometimes quite painful.

DD (3) was hugely excited yesterday for the first time and it was lovely! Glad there were happy Christmasses on the thread.

I'm 21 weeks tomorrow so over half way. Hurray!

shinyhappyone · 26/12/2014 12:17

So happy for you sunshine! Brings back memories of 2 years ago for me!
Hope all of you have had a fab Christmas. It's been a super one here, surrounded by family (who surprised me with a massive box of bits for little one!)
Not usually one for Boxing Day sales but got a few good deals on amazon this morning for baby boy. Might be worth a look if you get a spare 5.
Merry Christmas all xx

LinaDee · 26/12/2014 15:14

Congrats sunshine!

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.
My bump is really growing now - I love it! BUT I'm itching all over - especially on my tummy! It's so irritating.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Turquoisetamborine · 26/12/2014 20:35

Lovely ring Sunshine, congrats hon!

I am utterly wiped out. Five family parties in three days and another one tomorrow. Today is son's birthday so we've had even more presents for him to open. My living room is swamped in toys.
Ready for a rest tomorrow until the next party and I've threatened to go in my pyjamas.

Blondie87 · 26/12/2014 20:37

Merry Christmas everyone! Huge congratulations sunshine! Beautiful ring. Lots to look forward to!
Had such a fab christmas and totally overdone the feasting but hey! Now Tucked up in bed with a manky cold but glad it's today and yesterday.
Love my growing bump, can't stop rubbing it and waiting to feel baby kick. My DH and mum have both felt it kick too which was amazing.
Lina I've been really itchy on stomach and boobs- pregnancy seems to have made skin super sensitive.
20 week scan on Monday- so excited and nervous all at once; healthy baby would be the best belated Christmas present in the world!

Fluffeh · 27/12/2014 06:46

Oh it's beautiful sunshine!
Blondie I have my 20wk scan on Monday too. Although we had a private scan a few weeks ago in still super excited to see him again.
We're going sale shopping today to look for bargains. If anyone is in need of maternity jeans Next online have most reduced to less than £15 a pair in the sale.

leanne963 · 27/12/2014 12:47

Awww Congratulations sunshine

Hooe everyone had a lovely Christmas!! Bought ouour nursery furniture in the sale on Xmas evening, pramworld.co.uk had some great deals!

Then, last night I felt my first definite kick/movement!!! Was like a tiny finger poked the inside of my belly! Was amazing :)

Threesoundslikealot · 27/12/2014 13:52

How lovely to hear about all the bumps and kicking!

I bought a pair of Gap maternity jeans in their sale just before Christmas, for £25, and they arrived next day. Really pleased with him.

Threesoundslikealot · 27/12/2014 13:52

Them!

Sunshinesaz86 · 28/12/2014 11:17

leanne Boxing Day I felt the first proper poke too it was so strong!

blondie n fluff mines also tomoro, though not until the afternoon. Good luck.

I hope everyone's recovering after the business that is Christmas, I've got a lovely day relaxing ahead of me. Grin

leanne963 · 28/12/2014 15:17

Aww sunshine ×
What a magical xmas you have had!!

Anyone getting bad round ligament pain or pain from constipation?!
I can't seem to differentiate between the two?! Had stomach pains yesterday in the evening worse that usual but I have been eating crap as expected!
I get the odd cramp when standing up but when I'm walking around its fine! Does this sound normal?! Anyone else getting the same?

FeelingBlessed77 · 28/12/2014 15:55

leanne - yes I'm getting the same. like cramp when standing up, and also when turning in bed, left hand side quite low.

KittyVonCatsington · 28/12/2014 17:08

What a lovely ring Sunshine - DF did well with that one!!

Lina I too have a permanently itchy tummy - lots of stretching going on!

Good luck for the 20 week scans coming up!

Leanne and Feeling my pain is coming from the left side too-in fact, yesterday morning I had around 5 mins of bloody painful on/off pain in my left side just above colon, so round ligament pain is kicking up a knotch!

Purpleshoes2 · 29/12/2014 04:42

It is with great sadness that I have to announce that our gorgeous baby boy Mark Lewis Cairns was born at 2325 Sunday 28th December 2014.

The midwives at Basingstoke hospital have been amazing and our baby boy is comfortable and dressed immaculatly. We have our memories forever and a chance to organise a family goodbye, our concern was this early he wouldn't be counted as a baby but he's a really baby and is entitled to everything a normal person is entitled to. This has been the biggest comfort to us during these horrendous few days.

Thank you ladies for all your support in the last 19 weeks it was needed and I hope you continue to support each other. Xx

Scottishgal78 · 29/12/2014 06:47
