is anyone else struggling to sleep, im fine going off but about 4.00am ish i am waking to pee and then i'm tossing and turning awake until my alarm goes off, leaving me very tired by midday!

Sunshine I could have written this myself-almost 4am on the dot-no matter what time I've been going to bed! I think it is Mother Nature preparing us Xmas Grin

How wonderful yo are getting movement Three! I like chatting to Kitlet when I can feel her moving, although sometimes the movement doesn't feel 100 per cent pain free, especially when she is near my vag Just!! Xmas Wink

Good luck for the second scan today Tits!

Purple I still bleed on and off-linked with constipation and mini bleeds in the uterus making an appearance due to the straining. I still hate it and fed up of seeing red in the toilet sometimes but I will go through anything as long as Kitlet is ok she always seems fine, wriggling and bouncing away!

Happy Christmas Eve Eve Ladies Xmas Grin

shinyhappyone · 23/12/2014 09:07

I'm in the 4am club too! It's been the same every day for a couple of weeks now.
Also in the fat club. However, one positive for me is I have boobs!! After years of an A cup, I'm up to a C! I'll take the positives.
En route to 20 week scan. Excited, anxious, feel sick, need a wee...the usual! xx

Sunshinesaz86 · 23/12/2014 09:30

happy christmas eve eve to you too kitty :)

Good luck Shiny and tits are you finding out the sex, apologies if either of you already have, im struggling to keep up with the pinks and blues! x

Chookford · 23/12/2014 09:42

Happy Christmas eve eve!

shiny good luck with the scan today!! So exciting!

This 4am malarkey is getting in my nerves to be honest I'm exhausted now and have a full day ahead of me! Booo

shiny I have the exact opposite problem I'm a G cup normally so o really don't need to get any bigger!! With my dd I ended up in an I cup yes you hear me an I!!!! Utterly ridiculous.

Threesoundslikealot · 23/12/2014 09:53

No big boobs for me. Sad I have Insufficient Glandular Tissue so small boobs that don't change. I envy you all! But in the fat club. I lost quite a bit of weight before pregnancy, and never put anything on in my other pregnancies, so although it's only about 5lbs I really don't like it. Very nervous of piling everything I lost back on, and my stomach looks huge without actually being a bump.

shinyhappyone · 23/12/2014 10:58

An I cup Chookford?!! I didn't even know they existed!! I think we should all embrace being fat, especially at Christmas! Let's eat everything and be merry and fat together!

So scan all done. Everything healthy and we're in team blue!! So thrilled (though that would have been the case either way I think). Just so happy baby is growing healthily. Can relax and enjoy Christmas now! GrinGrinGrin??????

Sunshinesaz86 · 23/12/2014 11:39

yeahhh congrats shiny wonderful news!

Chookford · 23/12/2014 12:04

Hooray shiny that's fabulous news!! Team blue how lovely! And yes an I cup is not easy to come by! I was breast feeding so as soon as I stopped I went back to a G which seemed positively tiny!! Confused. I am embracing the fatness at Christmas which I am sure I will regret at some point but hey sod it!!!

bradders85 · 23/12/2014 13:48

congrats on team blue shiny Smile. I'm in the 4am club too and have been for quite a while now!

KittyVonCatsington · 23/12/2014 14:08

Hooray for Team Blue Shiny! Brilliant news he's doing well Xmas Grin

Yes, let's embrace the pregnant Christmas podge!!

Titsalinabumsquash · 23/12/2014 14:14

I am festively plump atm Grin big boobs and bump!

Scan was fine, she's wouldn't play ball so they took a video in the end and had to go through it frame by frame to get the measurements of the heart.
I double checked and the senior sonographer said (off record) if she had to bet her Christmas dinner on it she's be more than confident that no boys bits are hiding in there, I still don't feel right saying she or her, I think it's just habit.

One more hospital trip tomorrow (for DS1) then we're starting christmas! Smile

kitty I have been having the same as you mentioned! I sometimes bleed after having a few tough bowel movements so it's good to know they are linked. My midwife is kinda unsure why I bleed but just putting it down to one of those things.
Every time I go to the loo and there is no blood I have a sigh of relief. I'm lucky it's only a few spots of pink here and there as my SIL had terrible bleeding due to a clot, so I hate moaning about a drop here and there but it's still scary!!

FeelingBlessed77 · 23/12/2014 18:37

second scan today, all went well. We are team yellow. as long as baby is healthy.

BeanCalledPickle · 23/12/2014 20:04

For those struggling to sleep you can take the odd phenarghan. It's what they give you for morning sickness so by definition safe in pregnancy. It's also a sedative so knocks you out. I can't cope with a 4am wake up on top of a full time job and an eighteen month old! So I'm a big fan. You can buy it over the counter.

Chookford · 23/12/2014 20:31

feeling hooray for good scan... I am team yellow too woohoo!

bean ahh yes I had forgotten about that thanks will give that a go!!

SmileyScooby · 23/12/2014 21:13

Hi all,
Good news for those with scans back. I'm joining the New Years eve club seems like there are a few of us! I am also part of the 4am club and the bit of blood after bowel movements club (both of which are rubbish!) ive had a few weird feelings dunno if they are movements or wind but felt like a pulse feeling (wasn't touching belly at the time) only happened a couple of times.
Also quick question is there any harm in eating green grapes? I've been eating them but someone said to me today that shouldn't eat them when pregnant - couldn't find a definitive answer online to back this up...

BeanCalledPickle · 23/12/2014 22:00

What?!? No grapes! That's insane! On what possible basis? I was annoyed when buying Stilton earlier when the cheese seller told me I shouldn't be eating it. Firstly, bugger off! Secondly, who says its for me? And thirdly hard Stilton is perfectly fine so bugger off again!!

Sunshinesaz86 · 23/12/2014 22:04

Haha!! bean u tell them. Cheeky sod. Hmm

I've never heard u cant eat grapes either Smily it's fruit??...I know they have a lot of sugar but not an unhealthy amount, I don't know what other reason there could be?

Titsalinabumsquash · 23/12/2014 22:05

Grapes! I love grapes, maybe they mean wine....?

I'm nervously waiting for my shopping....

Purpleshoes2 · 23/12/2014 22:08

Best not be a ban on grapes it's still only one of the things that don't make me nauseas! I had a very long list of things I wasn't allowed to eat (due to immune system low) and grapes wasn't on that (I have gone back through it to check) got lots of things on it like Mexican xheese (just what is that!) and McFlurries (gutting) I'm gunna eat grapes haha :)

Fluffeh · 24/12/2014 06:19

Morning! I'm also in the 4am club but I've been in it since pregnant with dd and she's 19 months old :(. I remember sleeping, it was nice haha.
I don't want to scare anyone though, most people do go back to a normal sleeping pattern once baby is sleeping through.
It's Christmas Eve! I am so stupidly excited. I can't wait for dd to open her presents. Last year she was pretty oblivious and I had to get my nieces around on Boxing Day to open her presents for her as she just wasn't interested. So far this year she's ripped open a present whenever she's had access to one so tomorrow should be fun.
I'm worried I haven't got do anything special but I am making him a new son, he'll just have to wait until May for something special haha.
Has anyone got anything special planned today?

Chookford · 24/12/2014 09:10

Happy Xmas eve everyone!

My Dd is bouncing off the walls with excitement today... Next year is going to be a mad house Grin

fluff yes you are giving your dh the most special gift a person!!

I can't belive its already Xmas time is really flying it will soon be May!!

Hope you have all been good girls and Santa brings you what you asked for Xmas Grin

SmileyScooby · 24/12/2014 10:14

Thanks ladies - I thought they were talking rubbish re grapes!! I love them!!
Have a great Christmas eve everyone, having a lazy day today, maybe a walk to local shops for some fresh air and then seeing friends this evening.

KittyVonCatsington · 24/12/2014 10:58

Happy Christmas Eve girls!

Tits glad they got the measurements they need - definitely a wriggler there!

leanne It is reassuring to know you are not the only one with rectal bleeding. I have been examined by my GP for piles etc don't want to repeat that particular exam! and they found nothing. I was told that increased blood flow, coupled with constipation caused by baby taking what they need (not lack of fibre) and straining, can lead to the bleeding and passing stools that feel like glass! Unlike morning sickness, this will more than likely last for the whole pregnancy Hmm but can't be talked about due to the ick factor, so lack of sympathy that you would get with talking about ms is a shame. I have been taking Lactulose twice a day since 10 weeks, only use moist toilet tissues, put my feet up on toilet rolls and hope that when I look, there will be no blood!

So glad the scan went well Feeling!

I have been eating green grapes Smiling -it's not on the NHS list. But then again, I have also had the occasional prawns, scallops, salami, Stilton, bagged salad and glass of red wine! Oh, yeah, Stilton has been taken off the NHS anyway and shellfish, cured meats are fine if frozen beforehand anyway Xmas Grin

Fluffeh DH and I are just doing stockings for each other this year-we agreed that neither of us 'needed' anything and we are saving up for Jan Sales for baby anyway-you are in good company!

BeanCalledPickle · 24/12/2014 11:13

I think it's easy to get obsessed with the do's and donts. I don't plan on mainlining soft cheese but I knocked through a goats cheese salad the other day before realising I wasn't meant to!
