bradders85 · 11/12/2014 19:21

yes we are....pleased it's not just me experiencing this! ha!

Snooky17 · 11/12/2014 19:30

Same here lol, even went to docs about it couple of weeks ago, speculum exam and swabs "oh yes there's lots of discharge"tested for thrush and bv but negative for both just one of the many joys of pregnancy lol,
Congratulations Kitty

KittyVonCatsington · 11/12/2014 19:30

Chook Yes, I'm still producing loads of creamy CM-always need a panty liner still!! Still have quite spotty skin and a hairy tummy too!! Blush

Chookford · 11/12/2014 19:34

Thanks ladies I feel a bit better now! Not that your all experiencing this very attractive trait just that I'm not alone in experiencing it!

bradders85 · 11/12/2014 20:06

Kitty I have developed a hairy bump too!......I have all the attractive symptoms me! ha!

Mslad · 11/12/2014 20:11

awwww Kitty A baby girl! you must be so delighted.

I'm also in 'team discharge' Grin I thought it was a good thing, as in its there to protect you?

To the people who've had their 20 week scan, do you feel a lot more confident/relaxed once you've had it?

bradders85 · 11/12/2014 20:16

Mslad on the most part yes I think I do feel more relaxed and although I was told all was ok because I have to go back to re-scan to get measurements they couldn't get last time I still have a niggling little worry - but hopefully once thats done I will feel a lot more reassured and relaxed. It's great to see baby at a good size!

FeelingBlessed77 · 11/12/2014 20:21

I've got discharge and a hairy belly too.

Blondie87 · 11/12/2014 20:44

Awwww congratulations kitty! Lovely clear picture. A little girl, how wonderful!

Blondie87 · 11/12/2014 20:46

Oh and yes to discharge and hairy tum.... Still really gassy (sorry tmi) but it's embarrassing!

mumxof3x · 11/12/2014 20:47

Yayy kitty thats fab congrats :)

Turquoise, I did want to keep them all but there just wasnt any room, as I was storing them in my oldest 2 sons wardrobe and had no room for their stuff lol. I kinda holded on as long as I could until dp said its time to move them now as everything is limited for space...thinking I probably need a conversion going off here lol.

Kyz · 11/12/2014 21:01

Evening all :) 16 weeks today!

yay for non-wonky purple!

three i may well pick your brains over the next few months re: slings if that's ok - am really keen on using them but haven't much of a clue where to start!

cuphat my next mw appt isn't till 28 weeks either - seems like an age away!

I still have all of DS's stuff, well, most of it I think but there's a few things I want to pick up. I like buying baby things so i'll get some clothes etc, even if it's another boy Blush

good idea having a checklist turquoise i'm hoping to get round to writing one at some point!

lovely pic kitty and congrats on your little girl!

chook still quite alot of cm here too, think it must just be one of those things

KittyVonCatsington · 11/12/2014 22:06

Thanks girls-you're all so lovely Xmas Grin

Mslad-I thought of you today after the scan actually, as I thought to myself what a wonderful drug it was to see Baby again! I feel much more reassured now than the permanent fear I had at the beginning.

Think I might be taking advantage of the January Sales for baby equipment!

Thanks ladies I'll check out those shops! I've looked in next and mns as they're next door to each other in our town but wasn't inspired by anything. I'm going to go to the next bigger town and check out h&m and gap too.
I saw a lovely Moses basket last week but didn't buy it as it was very boyish and we weren't sure of the sex then. We went back yesterday but it's gone boo :(.
It was preloved but so pretty with shades of brown, blue and green and fluffy too. I'll probably spend the next few months wanting it haha.
We don't have much left from DD because she was going to be an only child but I have lots of clothes, and the things we still use like changing may, cotbed, travel system, slings, blankets and monitors so hopefully I'll only need to get Moses baskets (1 each for up and down stairs), clothes, boy style cloth nappies, play mat, swing (this was so useful to pop dd in while I was in the shower, it kept her happy for 10 mins while I had a wash). I'll need breast pads again and new breast milk bottles but I'll reuse the same pump (if needed and bfing goes well).
It's all so real now isn't it? They did all the measurements at our gender scan and checked all his organs etc to make sure everything was there and good. We even saw his full bladder Grin.
I just wish we'd seen his face, he was pushing it into the placenta which is on the back so all we saw was his spine, bottom and boy bits haha.

Sunshinesaz86 · 12/12/2014 07:32

Congrats kitty on your baby girl. How lovely, how many pinks n blues is that now? Lis everyone updating their stats as and when they find out?

Well I had my first works do yesterday and it was strange as so many colleagues were feeling my bump asking 'do u mind ppl feeling it?' While already doing it, my response was 'well actually it's the first time it's happened and umm no I don't think so?' So weird as I wasn't expecting it but i definitley don't think I minded. U don't realise how much attention a bump gets until it happens ha! Xmas Blush

Feeling rotten here, I've been sick since 2am, I can't even keep fluids down now. In going to abandon and chores for today and hibernate. Sad

Get well soon tits.

Fluff, I have a feeling more brighter colours etc will come out around may time. I bought most of ds3s just before he was born (he was meant to, be august baby but come in july) and they was just about all in sale.

Im not sure sunshine but iI think theres more pinks then blues at mo, although not sure? Im too sleep deprived lol

Purpleshoes2 · 12/12/2014 09:01

tits hopefully it's just a fleeting thing and will pass quickly. Curl up and watch a feel good film.

When are people starting to buy stuff O.O I've not even thought about it. We've painted the spare room but only because I wanted to help and my backs getting worse and worse and I wanted the smell to be long gone by May. This is our first so the whole going shopping for baby things terrifies me! We've been in and had a look around just to be even more confused lol

Chookford · 12/12/2014 09:31

tits sorry to hear you are feeling rough, hope you feel better soon Flowers

Threesoundslikealot · 12/12/2014 09:33

Kyz, I'll happily talk about slings any time.

Tits, get well soon. Sucking ice cubes is my tip in these situations.

When I was buying stuff I think we got most things when I was about seven months. Sales come along all the time.

mumxof3x · 12/12/2014 10:38

Purple, ive not bought a thing. I want to get christmas and oldests birthday finished first and then I will start. I did start early with ds3 though but it was after christmas. Ive been looking at things I want though :)

Fluffeh · 12/12/2014 15:03

Tits hope the sickness is short lived x
Kitty congrats on your girl. Girls are so easier to buy clothes for unless you hate pink haha!
We've only started buying already as we're in a tight budget and it's easier to buy things a bit at a time.
Dd is still poorly with her cold. I'm hoping she feels better over the weekend.

Sunshinesaz86 · 12/12/2014 15:53

to the ladies suffering with a hairy belly, ive always had the joy of a slightly hairy belly and get it waxed along with legs n bikini and its looks and feels fab once its done and find it doesnt grown back worse or anything just the same! I will be treating myself to a wax before im due to make sure im not a hairy/prickly monster! it may not be something you want to do but just thought i'd say.

hope you feel better soon tits

ive also not bought anything getting xmas out the way first then will be purchasing in the new year!
