Kyz Tits apologies if you already know this - I was on fragmin last year, and the no 1 hint the nurse gave me was - don't touch the injection site otherwise it will bruise!! Ditto re stinging, it will sting for around 60-90 seconds but worse of should go by then. Best place at the time to inject was around my stomach, but not sure what they recommend in pregnancy :) Good luck!

Jazzy Weeks will fly by - up to 16 weeks it seems to drag but after that it has just seemed like a blur. I can hardly believe I've reached 20 weeks, very surreal!

Oh my goodness plinky I nearly missed that-Congratulations! Another one for Team Pink Grin

Sorry you are under the weather Tori

One more day until I get to see Kitlet again, eek!!

Fluffeh · 10/12/2014 07:06

Yay another girl - congratulations plinky!
Today we should find out what this one is and then we can start to find names eek.
I am stupidly excited.
DD is suffering her first proper cold poor thing. We night weaned from bfing when we decided to ttc so I was trying to hold firm last night but she was sleeping on dps chest and kept waking asking for a bf and having a tantrum when I gently refused. I felt horrible but I really don't want to get back into multiple night feeds now.
She is really poorly with it and it's probably my fault for reducing the bfing. She won't get as much immunity from me now. She finally settled at 4am when I left the bed fingers crossed it's much better for her today.

bradders85 · 10/12/2014 07:14

Congrats plinky on team pink! :) And hope you find out today too Fluffeh good luck x

Purpleshoes2 · 10/12/2014 07:27

fluffeh there going to pick things up whether you breast feed or not. Especially this time of year and there lots of things going round. She'll want it more of a comfort thing than a need for immunity. Hope she gets better soon

Seems to be a lot of girls going at the moment. It gets me very excited :O were not fussed either way but I know my husband would love a girl just so he can have a princess lol

mumxof3x · 10/12/2014 09:53

Good luck fluff

Yay plinky congrats

Mines in less then 2.5hr now am nervous

Mslad · 10/12/2014 11:22

Good luck today fluff & mum

Congrats plinky go team pink!

I'm just back from my mw. It wasn't a proper appointment, but they let me slip in to hear the heartbeat, to put my crazy mind at rest. & we heard it straight away! Yay! Based on the hb of 155, and my newly acquired sweet tooth, she is guessing a girl, we shall see.....

Chookford · 10/12/2014 11:31

mum and fluff good luck today... So exciting!

plinky congrats on your pink bundle!

mslad yay for hearing the heartbeat.. Such a relief isn't it! Ooh another team pink guess!!

Mslad · 10/12/2014 11:50

It's like a drug chook you feel a real high after a successful appointment! one which slowly wears off.... but I'm going to try enjoy it for as long as possible. I'm now dying to see if she's right about team pink.

Chookford · 10/12/2014 13:48

mslad yeah it is exactly like a drug... I have had to talk myself out of getting a Doppler as I know I will become obsessed and if for any reason I couldn't find hb I would have a meltdown! so best for me to stay away! my midwife guessed team blue.. I am really intrigued to see if she is right too as I am guessing I have another girl! Will you be finding out?

Justyouwaitandsee · 10/12/2014 14:11

Hi everyone,
We had our 20wk scan today. Didn't find out sex, but I am thinking girl. What does everyone else think? Everything looking good and in the right place. Was much, much quicker than I was expecting.

May 2015 - thread 4 - the one where it all gets real!
Chookford · 10/12/2014 14:41

just congrats thays a lovely pic! My guess is girl too! Xmas Grin

KittyVonCatsington · 10/12/2014 16:52

So so happy your scan went well Just! I'm rubbish at guessing but am going to say girl too Xmas Grin

Couldn't have put it better myself Mslad - definitely feels like that! I just hate the fear that comes with pregnancy especially after a loss/losses. I miss that pregnancy bliss I felt with the first before it all went horribly wrong. I'm learning to try and relax and enjoy it. Definitely better than I was in the first trimester Xmas Smile

Does anyone else find themselves rubbing their tummy and liking the 'rubby' feeling on their bump?!

Chookford · 10/12/2014 17:05

kitty I'm doing that all the time now, it's not even a concious thing! I am constantly rubbing my bump.

Fluffeh · 10/12/2014 17:23

It's a boy! I'm surprised but pleased.
Now I'll have to sort through all my girl things and donate/sell what can't be used while stocking up on boy things.
I'm really excited to start choosing names tooSmile.

Snooky17 · 10/12/2014 17:43

Congratulations Fluffeh!

I find myself rubbing my bump/flab but feels a bit weird since I know it's my placenta and not baby lol

KittyVonCatsington · 10/12/2014 17:54

Fabulous news Fluffeh! Now you can start planning and preparing!

Glad I'm not the only one rubbing bump a lot!!

Turquoisetamborine · 10/12/2014 17:59

Congratulations on all the successful scans. Did anyone watch 17 kids and counting? She lost her baby at 22 wks. I've just been crying over it. The midwife said she was very high risk though as she'd had so many babies and it was very uncommon for anything to go wrong at that stage.
I really would not want that many children. Why would you?
Maybe I'm selfish but we have a nice standard of living now and I like my holidays, nice cars, my house not being a shit tip. You couldn't have that with so many children.

Chookford · 10/12/2014 18:02

fluff massive congrats on your blue bundle!

mumxof3x · 10/12/2014 19:18

Mines a boy too :D 4 boys :)

Congrats fluff.

Just, congrats I will say girl, but im pretty rubbish cause my side profile looks similar to yours on my scan today and mines boy. Although, I did say mine has a very girly head haha totally dif to my other boys scans. so yes iI think girl. X

Chookford · 10/12/2014 19:34

mum congrats on your blue bundle too... 4 boys wowzers!! Grin

Mslad · 10/12/2014 19:46

Brilliant scan news everyone! fluff & mum congratulations on your little boys Smile Smile such lovely news from everyone.

I have a weird hand on stomach thing anyway which is only getting worse. I always sleep with my hand on my tummy. When I've had a spray tan I've woken the next morning with a white hand print across my tummy Confused

Turquoise I can't help but agree with you. I always wanted a big family, but 17 is a bit much!

cuphat · 10/12/2014 19:53

Congrats on all the scans.

SmileyScooby · 10/12/2014 19:59

Wowee lots of scan news in last couple of days :) congratulations to all! And yep Kitty I've been rubbing my bump/flab/bloat area hehe
I've still got this horrible cough/cold just won't go away :(
