KittyVonCatsington · 07/12/2014 18:26

Nah, as long as Baby is alright, I'll be curious to know! Anomaly scan is this Thursday-can't wait to see Baby again!

So nice to see the scans coming up and happening Smile looking forward to seeing more. I do want to find out but my dad doesn't want to know - however whether I can keep a secret I don't know lol

We've had a bit of a tough weekend being in hospital due to bleeding however everything's normal so even though I'm still bleeding I've been discharged. Silver lining we got an extra scan

Looking forward to seeing all the other scans Grin

mumxof3x · 07/12/2014 19:30

Congrats bean :) lovely news.

So after my anomaly scan come yesterday, they put it at 20+6 for me the very last day it should be done, but thats by their dates by mine id be 21+1(private internal scan matched my days, NHS external didnt) so after having my previous ones at 19wks I had a panic and booked a private scan, which luckily had an offer on groupon in my local area, so I got it for 23.50 :) and its this wednesday. Yay. They can tell you the gender but am still sticking to not finding out...i think lol

mumxof3x · 07/12/2014 19:31

X-post purple. Great scan pik. Glad all was ok x

KittyVonCatsington · 07/12/2014 19:42

Oh Purple That must have been so scary for you-so sorry you had to go through that. Was it a sunchorionic hemorrhage? So glad Baby is fine and that is a lovely clear picture!

Hope the private scan goes well mumxofx3!

KittyVonCatsington · 07/12/2014 19:43

sub chorionic Blush

Purpleshoes2 · 07/12/2014 20:00

kitty they don't know what it is which is slightly concerning but fluid levels are normal (apparently anything below 2 is low and I'm 3.9) cervix is completely closed, and placenta's in a decent place. Baby doesn't like the heart rate monitor everytime they found it they would move - they heard it lots just never for more than a few seconds at a time! Got a wriggler!

KittyVonCatsington · 07/12/2014 20:15

Urgh! Hope they keep a close eye on you Purple - keep us updated xxxx (at least you know baby seems happy and having a good festive shimmy) Xmas Grin

piglet81 · 07/12/2014 21:04

Hi everyone, congrats on the latest scans and purple, I'm glad you're doing OK. Must have been really scary.

Good luck to everyone having scans this week. It feels like the past few weeks have gone really quickly, although i guess this time of year always does.

I'm still not feeling proper movements (18+3) but have noticed the occasional twitchy/squirmy feeling which I hope is the little creature Smile

Cooked a big dinner for my family this evening and we're both zonked - early bed is calling! Have a good start to the week everyone Smile

Scottishgal78 · 07/12/2014 21:16

Hi all. Just checking in. Congrats on all the scans! Can't wait till 9th Jan now. I'm definitely finding out the gender-I need to know!

LinaDee · 07/12/2014 22:46

Scottish - where do you go for your scans? X

Scottishgal78 · 07/12/2014 22:58

SGH? Are you local?

aberjen · 08/12/2014 06:42

Awww, yay bean, congratulations!

Purple, that sounds scary, glad to hear the docs think all's well and you're back home.

Still no definite movement here, but have also had the odd squirmy sensation Smile Anterior placenta again though, so not too worried. 17+5, scan on 23rd! Going to ask them to write sex down and then we'll look and find out on Christmas Day Smile

Sunshinesaz86 · 08/12/2014 07:38

That's such a lovely idea abergen it'll be a fab Christmas morning with that exciting gift!!

Glad your ok purple

I think the weeks are going quickly too piglet and yes it's usually as there's so much to do and so little time to do it in.

I watched DP wrap a load of presents yesterday I hate wrapping but he's pretty good. So our compromise he wraps I do the tags and string/bows, I think it's a good deal! Xmas Wink

Chookford · 08/12/2014 12:30

Hi Ladies

I haven't posted much after my initial introduction a few weeks back as I feel like a bit of an intruder only popping in occasionally, and am due back end of May so mainly post on June thread but will make more of an effort to post more regularly, promise! Wink

had my 16wk midwife apt last week and after a few hairy moments of not being able to find a heartbeat she eventually located it... I too have a wriggler apparently which she thinks is a boy but we are not finding out so quite a while to find out if she was right or not!

purple sorry to hear you have had a worrying time with bleeding, but glad to hear its nothing sinister and you are being looked after.

aberjen that sounds like a lovely Christmas pressie, so exciting to have people finding out!

mum good luck on weds!

I am having very def movements now, it appears to be developing a pattern between 8-9.15pmish it has a little boogie, rest of the time its quite a lazy baby... another reason to suspect a boy! Grin

Mslad · 08/12/2014 12:57

Hello all, I had a busy weekend so am only catching up now. It's lovely to see all your scan updates.

Purple- so glad everythings alright- you must have got such a fright!

mum - I’m not sure I understood your post about scan dates. Can/should the 20 week scan only take place in the 20th week? Up to 20+6? Mine is booked in for my 21st week- is that not ok?

aberjan what a lovely idea Smile

Still no movement for me, I find myself most nights in bed (after one of the many trips to the loo) lying awake thinking ‘gas or movement?’ unfortunately it’s always gas. Can pregnancy make you lose your mind Shock

Chookford · 08/12/2014 13:22

mum I meant to ask the same question as Mslad my 20wk scan is not booked in until i'm almost 22wks.. is that going to cause any issues? Nobody has said anything to me in the hospital about it?!

Mslad · 08/12/2014 13:30

glad I'm not the only one confused chook. Great you heard the heartbeat. It's such a great feeling!

longestlurkerever · 08/12/2014 13:30

I don't think it should make a difference. The 12 week scan has to fit a particular window but not the 20 week one, as far as I know.

Still no definite movement here at 15+2. Come on baby!

Glad you are ok purple. Sorry you had a fright.

Chookford · 08/12/2014 15:09

Thanks Mslad yes it was such a relief after the last few weeks of stress and worry!

longest thanks that's what I thought I know the 12wk scan has to be in a certain period for the measurements but no one has said anything about the 20wk one

Turquoisetamborine · 08/12/2014 15:50

Abergen what a fab idea. We were definitely not going to find out the sex but after the whole scare with the high risk of downs I needed something to keep me going. I'm so looking forward to my little boy now so I'm glad I did.

More pram research yesterday at mothercare world. I tried the quinny buzz and the saleswoman said it wasn't a great pushchair so that ones out. I liked the Cosatto Giggle too as I loved the bright colours.
They had a package with the pushchair, carrycot, change bag and car seat for £450 which was good.
I always return to the icandy peach but it's £595 for the pushchair and carrycot plus we would need to buy the car seat which will be £130. It's such a lot of money!

Chookford · 08/12/2014 15:52

turquoise we are looking at the giggle too... I love all of them!

Blondie87 · 08/12/2014 17:53

Congratulations on your little girl bean! Very exciting. Finding out in three weeks' time- excited to see baby again x
