Flipping 'eck Memphis, that sounds very painful, and scary. Take the drugs and rest up, yeesh!
frenetic - your colleagues really are a bunch of *'s.
Spent the weekend trying to catch up a bit and rest at the same time. Went to the IL's as they do a small firework display for the niece who at 5 is still scared of any firework that makes a noise. As for our bump, it has now been to 3 firework sessions and has slept through the lot! Absolutely no reaction to the bangs.
As for BH's, I went to a physio ante-natal class today and the physio said that not everyone gets them whereas others get them a lot from quite early on. She did say though that if you're regularly getting them late on in the day, when tired etc.. then it is a sure sign that you're over doing it and you need to slow down! No sign of them here, yet :-D 28w tomorrow. Time does seem to be flying now.

BanglesSpangles · 11/11/2014 19:35

Jeeps memphis, hope you're ok and not in too much ag xx

Have had a poo day at work- so stressed i genuinely wanted to puke in my bin. And I've just been on a crap shopping trip where i have discovered, of course that is impossible to get swim wear in November and all mat wear is still shit so i have three black tie dos to go to in the next three weeks and not a sausage to wear. It's a conspiracy.

Have eaten massive millionaire's shortbread by way of consolation. Though i wish it was a massive gin

PeppermintInfusion · 11/11/2014 19:36

Bangles have you tried seraphine? I got a lovely dress for a wedding on there, not sure if they do formal wear.

BanglesSpangles · 11/11/2014 19:44

Thanks for the tip peppermint. Wonder if they have shops... My Internet shopping experience have been a total disappointment of late and the first do is on Saturday so i need to move fast!

Also just realised i made it sound like i wanted to wear my swimmers to a party. I'm not that weird, honest

PeppermintInfusion · 11/11/2014 19:49

I saw a shop when I was in London, so they must have at least a few (I'm in NI so less shops here anyway). If you do end up ordering online they do seem t run quite big- I'm normally a 14, sometimes a 16 to accommodate my chest, so I sized up but it seemed quite big.

BanglesSpangles · 11/11/2014 19:52

On their website now! Grin

sandulacek · 11/11/2014 20:07

They do have some nice styles. Also liked isabella oliver..although a bit pricier.

JacktheLab · 11/11/2014 20:32

Memphis, feel better soon! I fell going down the stairs once, landing on my butt at the bottom and was rolling around in agony, so much worse with bump to worry about too!

Frenetic, I'm hoping you get to go on mat leave soon and then get a fab new job for next year! Horrible people!

Not much going on here, def Brixton hicks but I know I'm stressed and over doing things, five and a half weeks left at work, cannot wait! Have a clinic appointment on Thursday and another scan to see how little miss is getting on, I'd be surprised if I didn't go onto insulin tooSad

Memphisbelly · 11/11/2014 20:42

Bangles I got a tankini from mothercare, they still have about 4 styles in stock.

Thanks all for well wishes, im very sore and my pride is a bit bruised too, I hate having to rely on people its a big issue for me and I hate putting people out, my fil is on his way to get dh to go get my car, my sis lost a day at work and mum was hit with d and v at work so had to close as I wasn't there, obviously they all think i'm being silly.

I do not know how I am going to get a bra, socks or a top on tomorrow for school run will be interesting Grin

Memphisbelly · 11/11/2014 21:29

Frenetic you shouldn't have to apologise for being pregnant she will be one of those that when she does have a baby shexwon't stop going on about it! Be proud of your bump. I used to get a bit oh when will it be my turn but never resent people for having a baby she sounds like a loon.

blankfornames · 11/11/2014 21:41

Memphis, poor you. you've had a tall run of it. Take care of yourself.
Frenetic, work folk sound like right a-holes. That's the last thing you need.
Well I figured out that I have 27 days of work left till I'm on Maternity leave. I'm getting so excited!
DH played a beautiful song to Bean yday & Bean started to kick like mad! Happened again this evening! so lovely that DH can feel the connection there too!
I'll still having BHs. Usually when I'm very active. Other than that, Bean is more of a Wriggler than a kicker. I wish I could identify body parts all the same!

Memphisbelly · 11/11/2014 21:57

Blank I had all the body parts sussed but now he has flipped its hard again, a hard round bump is normally a bottom a bottom as thehead it apparently more pointed feeling and they normally tuck that in.
When I was having a trace earlier they couldn't get a heartbeat because they were pushing pads in and he was kicking and hitting them meaning they just got bangs and no heartrate Grin he hates pressure being put on bump and I went on to have a scan and the consultant went look at this and pushed in doppler and he was punching at it with his little fists! So cute a mad at same time that my belly was moving so much and it was caused by his little hands!

GeekyHybrid · 12/11/2014 06:18

So mw appointment is 10am. Wtf am I doing awake at my normal time?! A wasted opportunity to lay-in, even sproglet is asleep (though he wasn't at 10 last night when I was trying to get to sleep!) Do you think this is training for impending motherhood?!

JacktheLab · 12/11/2014 07:37

Anyone else finding it hard to get out of bed in the mornings now?

Sooo tired now, still got 12 weeks to go!

GeekyHybrid · 12/11/2014 08:02

Don't worry jack, just cos I was awake it didn't mean I was moving. I was reading until hunger drive me to the kitchen! I'm tired all the time and struggle out of bed in the mornings, waking and moving are definitely two different things Grin

BanglesSpangles · 12/11/2014 08:04

Damn you bus shakes fist .

Right, today is a day of getting organised followed by what I'm sure will be a fruitful trip to mothercare for swimmers.

Positive thoughts positive thoughts

Memphisbelly · 12/11/2014 08:09

yep always tired here too but takes ages to go sleep apart from last night as I was drugged up I fell asleep at 10.30 but woke at 3.30 for ages. resting for me today after school run.

BanglesSpangles · 12/11/2014 08:19

Aaargh, it's no good- finally got on a bus and had to ask girl taking up two seats to move her stuff. After taking ages doing it she revealed a soaking wet umbrella on the seat so now i have a wet arse and am sat here breathing slowly while trying to resist the urge to punch her.

Pregnancy rage!

purpleteapig · 12/11/2014 08:28

Wow, glad you & bump are ok Memphis! It's typical as we all try to be so careful when we're pregnant but our bodies betray us by making us much clumsier.

I know what you mean about pregnancy rage Bangles - I've just suffered some road rage towards some of the idiots out driving in the rain this morning, swearing to myself and forgetting 2 yo in the backseat who then started to parrot the word 'arsehole' again & again. Oops!

Memphisbelly · 12/11/2014 10:40

Bangles I son't know how you didn't say anything! I would have either told her to hurry up, shove her stuff on floor or if I kept quiet I would say she was taking the piss with the wet umbrella!

Purple I did Grin at the arsehole parrot.

Im so dopey on sofa after topping up my tablets, weirdly I am spaced out but baby is going crazy! I bought some sausages to do a slow cooker casserole we were suppost to be going out for a meal tonight but as I won't be working tomorrow my mum wont be having ds.
3 weeks until our holiday I am so excited!

freneticfox · 12/11/2014 10:55

Gave my mat leave dates in. Screw trying to work as long as possible. Five weeks and two days.

I am now officially wishing time away, something I always promised I'd never do.

GeekyHybrid · 12/11/2014 10:58

28w mw appointment went well. Bump measuring right on the 50th percentile, I've gained 6kg which is fine. Just completely forgot about the lucozade test so I've got to go back next week for more blood to be extracted Hmm Darn family, got type 1 on one side and type 2 on the other so no chance of me not being nagged! So hope it's clear so I can tell everyone to quit fussing.

GeekyHybrid · 12/11/2014 11:02

yay frenetic you fouled do yourself a prominent calender and put huge red crosses through the days and everything! The countdown is on!

GeekyHybrid · 12/11/2014 11:03

should be could do yourself. yeesh. darn phone Blush

JacktheLab · 12/11/2014 11:12

Frenetic not much longer to go! To hecky with them!
