Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

sdyer I felt naughty! Told my mum this morning - well she wormed it out of me- and she immediately congratulated DH on being so viral. She takes great pleasure in embarrassing him (she always buys him comedy pants for Xmas)

She's very excited but kept saying 'your life will never be the same' Hmm

sdyer · 01/11/2014 16:46

hello TouchPauseEngage glad i'm not alone! My family are very excited too but worried at the same time as my sister has had 2 miscarriages (and 2 children). Still keeping it to ourselves till 3 months though.

Kilicat · 01/11/2014 17:11

Syder congratulations due date twin!! Will definitely feel a bit naughty when we tell parents...I won't be mentioning it until Christmas (and we won't see them until then anyway).

Kilicat · 01/11/2014 17:14

ThePurpleGiraffe I think you can feel nauseous right from the start but it is more usual to get it at around week 6. I was feeling a bit nauseous earlier in the week but feeling better this week although get the odd moment of nausea. I think I read somewhere that more sickness can happen when you're expecting twins...

Thepurplegiraffe · 01/11/2014 17:49

What a thought Kilicat, I think it's much more likely I overdid it last nightSmile . My dd is ill though so I was wondering if it was ms or something I have picked up from her.

Bustherb · 01/11/2014 17:50

Hi everyone, Ive only told my best friend as she was my on going support whilst ttc. We won't be telling anyone else until the scan although I'm tempted to pay for an earlier scan just so I can tell everyone!! Does anyone else feel a bit funny about telling your dads? I feel fine telling everyone else but I think it's because I'm a daddy's girl! I'm feeling pretty crappy today, feeling sick, sore throat, my back ( chest) hurts from coughing and I feel like I could use any excuse just to cry ShockShock lol xxx

sdyer · 01/11/2014 18:01

thank you Kilicat Smile Bustherb you seem like your having a horrible time. I felt a bit nauseous today and also earlier on in the week. I've heard that eating ginger biscuits helps, I have also been drinking lemon and ginger tea which is nice. I've not had any sickness so maybe that helps too.

Bustherb · 01/11/2014 18:08

Thanks sdyer I may try that if it gets worse. I think it's making it worse because I know my hubby's going away with work tomorrow ( only for the night) and I'm normally ok but since knowing we're having a baby, I don't want him to go. He's only going for a night, think it's my hormones! Xxx

fattycow · 01/11/2014 18:28

My boobs are sore all the time, very inconvenient and my bra hurts! Time for a new bra, but I'm broke. Sad

sdyer · 01/11/2014 18:31

You're welcome Bustherb has anyone thought about what kind of birth they want? I've always fancied a water birth xxx

sdyer · 01/11/2014 18:33

oh dear fattycow have you perhaps loosen the straps and get a back expander instead?? or Primark?

fattycow · 01/11/2014 18:34

I want a home birth, no doubt about it. I don't want any of that hospital business! I will have to think about whether or not I want a pool...

AudTheDeepMinded · 01/11/2014 18:35

I think the nausea is something to do with hormone levels ( I think I read something about the development of the placenta and umbilical cord also being part of it, which is why it eases of after about three months but I could be wrong). I hope we all manage to avoid the 9 month severe version.

I've not yet told anyone (apart from a bunch of random women on the internet and my husband!) But I was thinking today that I may well wrap up one of pregnancy tests and put it in my Mum's Christmas parcel. What do you think?!

fattycow · 01/11/2014 18:39

Nausea is caused by your hormones.

I wouldn't gift a test, as I don't think they are very hygienic what with having pissed on them. Wink I would put in, for example, a bib that says I Love Grandma.

sdyer · 01/11/2014 18:40

AudTheDeepMinded I read that too. Is anyone really tired? I'm not making it past 8pm at the moment!!
fattycow that sounds like a good idea! I've read that my hospital is baking hot so I dread to think what it will be like in July!

sdyer · 01/11/2014 18:42

Maybe take a photo and to a moon pig card with it as the cover??

fattycow · 01/11/2014 18:42

Primark doesn't even do my regular size. And the cups are getting too small already, hence the bra hurting me, but that means a back extender and loosening the straps won't help.

sdyer · 01/11/2014 18:45

ahhh man!! just dont wear one ;0)

fattycow · 01/11/2014 18:46

No! Boobs are too sore for no bra! Shock

sdyer · 01/11/2014 18:48

have you tried the very website? You can set up an account and pay monthly.

fattycow · 01/11/2014 18:54

I'm not in the UK (wish I was for bras!), so not very good for me... Thanks for trying to help though! Flowers

sdyer · 01/11/2014 19:12

they may do overseas shipping?

fattycow · 01/11/2014 19:17

Probably, but shipping would most likely hike the price up and it is a pain to exchange things, as I would have to pay postage again.
I might go to some pregnancy stores next week, see if they have any bras.

sdyer · 01/11/2014 19:22

good luck! Where do you live? x

fattycow · 01/11/2014 19:53

I live in the Netherlands. Somehow small back with big boobs is not a possible combination, according to Dutch bra makers...
