Hi!

BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

My god I feel sick this morning. I woke at 5am with the most awful stomach ache. I feel this might be the start of HG again.

cremedecacao · 13/11/2014 07:01

I woke up at 2.30 having had another horrible dream! Had to move to the spare room as I was all hot and bothered. Feeling much more awake today though thank god.

TouchPauseEngage · 13/11/2014 07:44

I woke up every hour from 2 to pee. My darling friends all told me I looked like shit last night! I said it was work stress!
sarky fingers crossed that you avoid HG this time.
7 weeks today and so far sickness has been manageable apart from first thing in the morning. Salt and vinegar snack a jacks are my saviour too.

broodylicious · 13/11/2014 07:53

tall, that's very kind and thoughtful of you re staggering your announcement because of your family member. I know she would appreciate that because I would have done. Was she far gone when she tfmr? That must be so heartbreaking to make such a decision Hmm

I had a thought about our announcement - god willing we get that far - and there may be a way I can still do it as I wanted to for Christmas! We are mid renovation of our house (there's stuff that needs doing in every room!) and we are having a new kitchen fitted and new downstairs layout but just found our it won't be totally completed until mid January. Around the time of my scan! Soooo....how about a belated Christmas Day celebration - turkey, mince pies, the lot! - in mid jan?! That way I can still do my handmade crackers!!Grin I just need to get to that point first.......

Fleurchamp · 13/11/2014 08:27

I have been up for hours and surprisingly energetic! Even went for a swim.

That sounds good broody we have decided to have an early scan just before Christmas and then tell our families at Christmas. They would all guess anyway, it's unheard of for me not to have a glass of wine with Christmas dinner.

Going to the Dr shortly. All becoming real!

SophieBarringtonWard · 13/11/2014 08:31

I caved to my worries yesterday & went to EPU, they were very nice and have booked me a scan today. I had a miscarriage at the end of August, although this pregnancy is now further along than that one was, but every twinge & cramp I get makes me worry… So we will see what we see this morning then Hmm

Leela5 · 13/11/2014 08:36

Sarky hope it's not HG.

I'm hiding in bed, don't want to get up. POAS digi and it's up to 2-3 Grin

Leela5 · 13/11/2014 08:37

sophie good luck for today I has mc in sept and totally know how you feel. Fx x

Fleurchamp · 13/11/2014 08:40

Thanks to all of you ladies who have experienced mc, it must be bittersweet for you now xx

Number3cometome · 13/11/2014 09:08

Last night I was fast asleep on the chair when OH got home from footy about 10:30. I felt so sick and dizzy I had to lay down. I cooked a lovely curry but the thought of it made me feel yuck, so I had cod and a jacket potato instead which was nice Smile

Feeling stretchy and achey today, that always worries me, and I have been knicker checking every 5 minutes

Anyone else feeling paranoid??

Worrying as my doc has told me to stop taking my beta blockers (bisoprolol) and to come and see her tomorrow. I hate having palpatations and headaches from my blood pressure being high when not on the tablets.

This is DC3 so I should be used to it and not symptom spotting

Love to all you July ladies xx

WantToGoingTo · 13/11/2014 09:20

number I keep knicker checking too!

Am 4w tomorrow - has anyone else had bad cramps at this stage? They were so bad last night they woke me up. Kind of a stubby feeling really low down and central Confused I hope it is a good sign and not a bad one :(

Fleurchamp · 13/11/2014 09:42

Yes I get the cramps. More at night than during the day. I asked the Dr and he said it was normal but if they got really painful to go back.

Waste of time going to Dr really, it was only to be referred to hospital and make midwife appt.

WantToGoingTo · 13/11/2014 09:47

Thanks fleur! Yes mine are mainly at night have some in day but not bad just niggling. Tis reassuring to know it sounds like it is normal :) probably won't be seeing midwife til 8w so just thought I would check :)

Number3cometome · 13/11/2014 10:03

The pains are annoying, but as long as they are not painful pains not painful? you know what i mean! then it's totally normal.

It's all just a worry early on!

I am 4 + 5 I believe.

Fleurchamp · 13/11/2014 10:16

My midwife appt will be when I am 10 weeks, apparently they usually do them at 11wks but that is the week between Xmas and NY and the clinic isn't running that week.

Why not 8 weeks?!?

WantToGoingTo · 13/11/2014 10:28

11 weeks seems a long time fleur! I looked up wht happens where I live, midwife meant to phone you at 6 weeks to make booking in appt which is at 8 weeks. Then after that they refer you for your 12w scan at hospital. Then no midwife appt il after 20w scan, then every 2 weeks from 25 weeks if first baby. Think midwife will call me in 2 weeks.

11 weeks does seem late as they will need to book scan? Have u spoken to midwife or just GP surgery?

Number3cometome · 13/11/2014 10:54

Do you guys have DC's already?

I didn't have any midwife appointments with DS until after my 12 week scan.
With my DD I didn't have a midwife as all consultant care, but did have a scan at 8 weeks.

WantToGoingTo · 13/11/2014 11:07

This is my first!

My ears must have been burning as the midwife jut called me! I have my first appt at 8 weeks but we couldn't find a time :( but I work in a hospital so the midwife is going to ask the hospital midwives I do my ante natal appts so it is easy for me when I am at work then I can see the GP ones when I am on maternity leave. So exciting! Feels a bit more real now!

Number3cometome · 13/11/2014 11:19

WantToGoingTo that's great news!

I am seeing my GP tomorrow. She was being a bitch, said it's early yet, let's just confirm the pregnancy first then discuss if you don't have your period soon.

WTF

WantToGoingTo · 13/11/2014 11:27

Wtf number!! That I so rude. I thought all gps took result of pg test as certain proof. My GP did say it was early but she was quite nice and told me midwife would phone in 2 weeks but then midwife phoned today. Maybe when you see the doc it will be better :)

Leela5 · 13/11/2014 11:39

That's bit rude :(

I've got mw tues and will be 5 weeks 3 days. Last time I didn't go til 6 weeks and the next day I was admitted to hospital with suspected ectopic. So rubbish - I'd just picked hospital and everything :(. It wasn't ectopic but I mc a week later.

Cramps are fine as long as they are not painful. Having had mc I can only say when you get mc cramps you'll know. Dragging feeling, very painful, like worst period pain. I just knew. I hope it doesn't happen to any of you, lots of positive thoughts sent Grin

I'm going to ask for early scan but later this time - perhaps 8 weeks. Had it at 6 last time and it was too early

Leela5 · 13/11/2014 11:40

This is my first child I hope desperately this one makes it

Fleurchamp · 13/11/2014 11:47

FX for you leela I really admire you all who have suffered mc. I have only know for a few days that I am pregnant but would be devastated if I lost it now.

Meh. I think where I live is just rubbish. The midwife comes to our Drs surgery every other week to save the trek to hospital.

Definitely going to have a private scan now Smile

WantToGoingTo · 13/11/2014 11:53

I feel the same fleur can't imagine how awful it must have been leela. Really hope this one sticks for you Thanks

It is funny how you can become so emotionally attached to a small cluster of cells so quickly! But I suppose it is growing inside us :)

Number3cometome · 13/11/2014 12:38

It's awful, I have had an early M/C before, that was before my DS was born 13 years ago, at the time I had no idea I was pregnant, I went to the docs unwell, done a test turned positive, few days later bleeding and pains.
Just like Leela5 said, you will defo know what is going on, it's horrible.

I hope we are all having lovely little sticky beans and hopefully will have some early scan pics on here soon!
