Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

Hi number welcome!

I have an appointment to see the Dr tomorrow morning. Apparently I need to tell them which hospital I want to go to. I assume this is changeable and is just for initial scan? The choices here are between death trap hospital and full to bursting hospital.

Is it ridiculously expensive to go private?

WantToGoingTo · 12/11/2014 11:53

twinkle mine too!

waves frantically at number yoohooooo

twinkletoes2015 · 12/11/2014 12:06

wanttogoingto I think he would be happy with a football team, he's one of five and his dad is one of ten so his family is HUGE!

My nausea and sickness is the worst I've had it so far this morning. Sparkling water is the only thing getting me through to day!

Number3cometome · 12/11/2014 12:23

Hey ladies! This is DC3, have DS aged nearly 12 and DD aged 7 from a previous relationship.
This is OH's first baby.
Feeling anxious as I am a eclampsia (seizures) victim from DS labour and pre-eclampsia DD. I will always be a c-section, no other option is safe, but I'm over that worry know having done it twice before.
I suspect I will be full consultant care and no midwife like last time, although waiting for the doc to call me back as I need to change my beta blockers now pregnant Smile
Can't wait to get fat!!

WantToGoingTo · 12/11/2014 12:33

twinkle mine too! He is one of 6 and his mum is one of 6! I think 3-4 is my max ;)

TallGiraffes · 12/11/2014 12:41

Thank you all for your positive vibes and good wishes - we have one happy healthy heartbeat!!! Grin Grin Grin

They're going to scan me every two weeks until we're out of the woods, which is amazingly reassuring, but she said if we've seen a heartbeat now then the mc risk goes down to 10%.

Sarkymare · 12/11/2014 12:48

Brilliant news tall!!Grin Grin

twinkletoes2015 · 12/11/2014 12:50

Amazing news Tall! Really pleased for you Smile

Thepurplegiraffe · 12/11/2014 13:14

MisterSafety yes that was me that can't get an appointment. I can't contact the midwife directly either so I left a message with the doctors to call me and nothing. I think I just need to go down there first thing in the morning and try and get an appointment on the day (which is generally what you have to do) but when I work nearly 1 1/2 hours from the surgery that is difficult. Think I might have to tell my bossHmm

Congratulations Tall that is fantastic news.

Leela5 · 12/11/2014 13:27

Fab news tall!

fleur it depends where you are - mine was £95 last time

Fleurchamp · 12/11/2014 14:30

YEY tall xx

Threeplus1 · 12/11/2014 15:09

sarkymare My grandma had 2 sets of twins, of which my mum is one half of a set so it has always been thrown around that i or my siblings could have twins. So far none of us have, but I think I would have a mini mental breakdown if I am! With 3 dc already, 5 would stretch us all emotionally, financially and most definitely mean we'd have to move as, as I've gone into on previous posts, our 2 bed apartment is already at capacity!

Congrats tall and welcome number3 Grin

WantToGoingTo · 12/11/2014 15:13

Congrats tall that is great news! Must be so reassuring to hear that little heartbeat :)

Sarkymare · 12/11/2014 15:18

three my mum is a twin. As is her own mother. So like you it has always been said one of us will most likely have twins. I read somewhere that it you breast feed and get pregnant you have a higher chance of twins as it affects ovulation so both of these thins have me worrying lol

cremedecacao · 12/11/2014 15:24

Hi everyone! Got my BFP last Friday. Was a bit of a surprise as we weren't going to start trying til the new year. I thin I'm due on 18th July. Major, major tiredness going on as well as a cold that I've had for two weeks. Burst out in tears at work today and was sent home. Now everyone at work things I'm having a breakdown, great!

Fleurchamp · 12/11/2014 15:47

Hi creme I think we are due date buddies!

I hope you're ok. I haven't had any emotional meltdowns yet I actually feel in an amazing mood which is quite unusual for me on a Wednesday afternoon.

I hate Wednesdays!!!

P.S we have a posh loo too but my boss locks it. It has her personal shower in it Envy

cremedecacao · 12/11/2014 15:52

Woohoo! That's exciting! I drove to my mum's Blush and had a chat and a nap on her sofa. Then I stopped at Tescos to buy new pjs and a comfy bra (boulder boobs...)

I was feeling way too tired for work and very emotional. All it took was for one person to say something a bit mean and I was off! No one knew quite what to do!

Posh loo sounds like a good day time escape!

cremedecacao · 12/11/2014 15:59

Mind you- mumsnet calculator is saying 16th July- so close!!

Number3cometome · 12/11/2014 16:17

Fleurchamp we are due date buddies too Smile

hazelnutlatte · 12/11/2014 16:39

Hello all, I've not looked at this thread for a week and suddenly there are 620 posts!

Anyway, just rejoining to have a moan. In my last pregnancy I had horrible horrible morning sickness from 5.5 weeks onwards. This time, I'd felt ok, just a little queasy at times, so I thought I'd got away with it. But no, I'm 7 weeks today and feeling absolutely rotten. Worried about how I'm going to cope at work tomorrow. Thinking about telling my boss I'm pregnant in the hope that she will help me out a bit tomorrow, but wanted to keep it to myself for a bit longer. Anyone got any advice?
Hello to everyone new btw, will go back and catch up on reading the thread now!

Fleurchamp · 12/11/2014 16:51

Oh hazel sorry you are not feeling well Sad are you on good terms with your boss? If so, I would tell her just to give yourself a break.

Fleurchamp · 12/11/2014 16:56

A popular date number

TallGiraffes · 12/11/2014 17:12

Sorry you're not feeling so good. Are you particularly tired today? My sickness is always worse when I'm tired.

misseskimo · 12/11/2014 17:14

Has anyone got any knowledge/experience of flying at this stage? I'm 6wks atm and have been asked to go to a meeting in Germany next week for work.

I've seen mixed opinions about it online and really don't know what to do! It's taken almost 4yrs to get a BFP and I've already been booked in for a 7wk scan with EPU after 4hrs there last weekend, plus two appointments with nurses last week and this just to be checked everything is ok, so I'm super nervous about doing anything that could put me at risk, but also don't want to tell work I'm pregnant in case anything happens Sad

cremedecacao · 12/11/2014 17:30

Hazelnut I am feeling exactly the same about telling my boss :( I think she may have an inkling after my outburst today though. I really hate people not knowing, I have a busy job and a very busy hobby too and I am going to have to tell people other than close family soon. I am not a private person at all, I am very open and not telling people is making me stressed and even more emotional. I would follow your instincts and tell your boss if you feel you need to- don't give yourself more stress over it!
