Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

Oh gosh! Must be gas ;) dare I mention the T word..!

broodylicious · 11/11/2014 21:23

touch, is this bubba your first? My last pregnancy, I had a definite bump by eight weeks and was so uncomfortable in jeans by six weeks, I was in maternity jeans! Take it as a good signSmile

Gas here today. In abundance, actually. Dd (2.5years) even told me to "stop pumping", complete with wagging finger!! Lol. She's so funny.

want, AF should have been due today/tomorrow. Instead, I got a lovely strong line, even at 6pm!Smile

WantToGoingTo · 11/11/2014 21:25

Me too Broody! My af not due til Fri/Sat but had a nice strong line when I got in from work, almost (but not quite) as strong as control Grin It is so exciting! Lol also know what you mean about the gas... Blush

TallGiraffes · 11/11/2014 21:31

Glad it isn't just me with a wind-bump!

Off for my scan at 9am tomorrow, please send all your positive vibes my way that there's a good heartbeat. I'm completely terrified. My mc was horrendous, I wouldn't stop bleeding and I've never been so scared as then, really can't face going through that again. Apologies to all the first timers - I don't want to scare you!!! But we haven't old a soul in RL so this is the only place I can talk about it.

IBelieveInPink · 11/11/2014 21:38

fatty I think I do have to go to hospital. Dd was an emergency section, so chances are this one will be a section too.
I just don't want to plan that far ahead yet, way too scary for me!

TouchPauseEngage · 11/11/2014 21:41

tall lots and lots of positive vibes coming your way And don't feel you have to appologise. The beauty of these threads is that you can share with someone other DP.

broody this will be first!

TallGiraffes · 11/11/2014 21:49

Thanks touch

misseskimo · 11/11/2014 22:07

Good luck for tomorrow tall!!

touch I'm 5.5wks and have developed a "gas bump" as you say ;) I've had mine for around a week now and it's not budging! It's making most of my clothing rather uncomfortable to say the least! :( I'm hoping it's a good sign for the pregnancy though!

After an insomniac night last night, I'm now falling asleep as I'm typing, so off to bed I go in the hopes I get a better nights sleep! Night ladies!

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 22:23

Good luck tall sending positive thoughts

My symptoms:
Slight nausea if I don't eat
Dry mouth/ thirsty
Stretchy womb and stabby fanjo
Knackered - but then wide awake 5am each day
On off achy boobs
Diarrhoea (oh how glamorous)
Gas/ bloat bump (also glamorous)

Grin But all worth it!

Zampa · 11/11/2014 22:42

Leela5 I can empathise with the exhaustion yet waking up at 5am. Ridiculous!

I also think I'm going to have to start wearing a bra at night due to the discomfort caused by my boobs.

Threeplus1 · 11/11/2014 23:05

I've been waking up around 6am every morning leela5, but put it down to the clocks changing just last week (I'm not in UK)

So I have a booking in appointment now for 8th Dec. As I mentioned before, no dating scan here unless you're unsure of dates (which I'm not) so either I go for DS testing or I pay for a private one.

Lots of gas and diarrhoea here too Blush, nausea if I don't eat, knackered, dry mouth and raging thirst. Boobs still same as usual though Envy maybe 4th time lucky though and they'll experience a growth spurt over the coming weeks crosses fingers and toes

hello to the newbies!

Fleurchamp · 12/11/2014 05:43

Hi all, awake again at 4am and could have easily gone to bed at 8pm last night.

I have all the same symptoms as you Leela

Today is the day I am going to get myself organised, calling Dr and clinic for early scan. DH is buying books, lots of books Grin

Leela5 · 12/11/2014 06:07

Me too! Awake 5:30 this time, can't sleep Grin

WiIdfire · 12/11/2014 06:24

Good luck TallGiraffes.

broodylicious · 12/11/2014 07:26

Good luck tall Keeping everything crossed for you this morning xx

Fleurchamp · 12/11/2014 07:59

Good luck Tall x

Sarkymare · 12/11/2014 08:56

broody yes I think it's a cost saving measure. Do I actually think it will save them any money? No not at all. They could have easily just scrapped the whole stupid idea and gave me my three leaflets at my booking in appointment instead. I'm not even joking she just read word for word from the same leaflets we was given. It was like being back at school. The worst thing is every woman in that room was on her 2nd/3rd baby and she still felt the need to tell us that 'seat belts are necessary during pregnancy so do please wear them'

sdyer · 12/11/2014 08:56

Good luck tall Flowers

Sarkymare · 12/11/2014 09:08

Good luck tall! I'm crossing all I have (unmumsnetty good luck hug)

I too have a bloat bump. A few days ago I wore a long vest top and leggings. My tummy looked lovely and flat. I wore those same things this morning and I have a little podgy bloat bump.

Has anyone else been thinking about the chances of you having twins?

MisterSafetyCatchIsNotOn · 12/11/2014 09:11

Hi everyone, good luck tall, everything crossed for you!
I'm with you all on exhaustion and insomnia at the same time, I have a horrible cough which has been keeping me up at night, especially as DS has it too and keeps waking. He actually slept through last night for once and I finally managed to get to sleep only to wake up repeatedly for no apparent reason from 3-6am Hmm

Also noticed a bump yesterday while at work (hoping it was not obvious to everyone else!) I know things pop out earlier with the second but not this early! For me it's probably more overeating plus bloating though Confused

For those with nausea I find salt and vinegar crisps helpful. Don't normally eat them but at the moment I keep a pack in my bag for whenever I feel a bit queasy, it seems to be working for now!

Is it purple who can't get a GP app (sorry on phone and can't check)? That is really shocking that it's taking so long! I would call the midwives and ask to self refer, explaining why. There should be a way to do it if you insist on it, otherwise is there another surgery you could move to? What do they do about sick babies/children?! Sounds crazy.

Fleurchamp · 12/11/2014 09:50

Don't mention the T word. There are several sets in my family Shock

Eeeek! Panicking now .....

broodylicious · 12/11/2014 09:59

Agree with mister re crisps helping nausea. With dd, anything beige in the first 16 weeks helped a lot!

twinkletoes2015 · 12/11/2014 10:24

My boyfriend wants twins and is already asking when we will have another baby Confused

Number3cometome · 12/11/2014 11:25

knock knock - may I come in ladies? Smile

Not wanting to tempt fate but still wanting some of the antenatal action

x

VirtualPointyHat · 12/11/2014 11:45

Symptoms seemed to have disappeared, super worried, but think probably just paranoia.

I wish I could have some sort of monitor on my phone to check baby is OK :S
