Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

Also I am EXTREMELY forgetful at the moment. I forgot I was running a bath and it overflowed, I forgot to lock my car last night and simple tasks that I do day in, day out at work are being forgotten about!

Sarkymare · 11/11/2014 10:53

I have no idea broody its a new scheme. I don't understand what we will be doing. I wont feel comfortable giving out any information whilst others are there and I guess most would feel the same. I think they will just give us leaflets and stuff. If that's the case I don't get why this is compulsory before you can have a booking in appt.

Fleurchamp · 11/11/2014 10:54

I am not being sick either. Just some smells make me queasy.

I am being incredibly forgetful though. I walked out of my house in my slippers this morning and it was only when I looked down to lock the door that I noticed Grin

twinkletoes2015 · 11/11/2014 11:05

A woman at works perfume makes me want to be sick everyday! She told me that she is allergic to it and doesn't actually like it so I'm praying that she stops wearing it soon lol

fattycow · 11/11/2014 11:32

I feel sick on and off, but nothing really awful just yet. Today is a bad day, but I'm hoping it will go away soon!

headlesschicken247 · 11/11/2014 12:14

Don't worry about lack of symptoms. I'm lucky as I never had any sickness with DC1 and to date haven't had anything. It's a bit of a double edged sword. It's great that I'm not feeling anything but I'd like to just to know that things are still going strong.

IBelieveInPink · 11/11/2014 12:15

I've just been brave and phoned for my booking in appointment. 2 weeks today. Eek.

I also have to decide before then which hospital I want to go to. Whaaaat? I don't want to think about hospitals yet!!

Sarkymare · 11/11/2014 12:58

I've just got back from my group session. What a bloody waste of time that was. There was about 10 of us in total. All we did was sit in a semi circle whilst the midwife simply read word for word from a leaflet. We then had to just sit there and wait whilst she booked booking in appointments. It was taking her around 15 minutes just to book one person in. I was sitting there almost an hour.

They majorly breached patient confidentiality. Whilst she was taking my details down she held up a piece of paper to check whether they was correct. I saw the names, phone numbers and addresses of at least 4 women who was in that room. Now of course I'm not actually going to do anything with this information, but the point is I could if I wanted to.

Booking in appointment is now booked for the 24th though so I'm happy about that.

misseskimo · 11/11/2014 13:07

Sarky don't think I'd like that either tbh. I would refuse to go if it was just me. I don't usually do the talk about me in front of others thibg, especially strangers! I dont mind on here as its anonymous, and highly unlikely I'll chat to someone living down the road from me, but the hospital in my area covers about a 15-20mile radius, so everyone from all over would be there! Sad

Leela mine started about a week before AF was due. I felt nauseous in the morning when i first got up, but as i get that some cycles i didn't think much of it. Its only on the past week since day before AF was due i feel nauseous all the time! Its worse in the morning, or if i dont eat for say 1-2hrs, so I've had to change my eating habits to snack every hour or so, but so far no actual vomiting touches all the wood in sight just nausea and major stomach cramps all the time

sdyer · 11/11/2014 14:41

Just got a bit of spotting the same I get when my period is due .... Confused

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 11/11/2014 15:11

Fx sdyer :( Thanks

My period isn't due until Saturday so I am praying and praying that this isn't a chemical! Have lots of cramps today some that made me grab the aide while standing so hoping that I a good sign of little bean getting bigger. This whole thing is a mystery to me and it is such a miracle creating another life

Fleurchamp · 11/11/2014 15:55

FX for you sdyer

Sarkymare · 11/11/2014 16:05

Have you been doing anything physically demanding today sdyer? You may have just over done yourself a bit. I heard this can cause light spotting. Put your feet up and take it easy for the rest of the night.

Call your MW too they might refer you for an early scan to but your mind at ease Flowers

SquirrelGirl78 · 11/11/2014 16:21

sdyer Don't worry yourself too much, lots of people get a wee bit of spotting. Rest up with a hot water bottle and keep an eye on it. If continues I'd call GP in morning and ask for scan at EPU. NHS Direct is worse than useless and will only direct you to your GP anyway. Fingers crossed for you.

sdyer · 11/11/2014 16:51

Thanks girls. Been to loo a few times since and it was clear. Will still keep an eye out. I read that you do get spotting when your next period is due after conceiving x

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 11/11/2014 17:24

sdyer I also heard that axe can cause spotting early on. If it's stopped that sounds like a good sign, fx everything is ok.

Still don't believe it so poas. Yep still pg! And more pg than yesterday. 11dpo and line really dark not going to say the T word dear god

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 11/11/2014 17:24

Sex. Not axe. I am a terrible types on my phone.

fattycow · 11/11/2014 18:34

sdyer, I'm sure it will be fine. There are loads of reasons you can have spotting. A friend of mine had 'periods' until the 5th month of pregnancy with both her children!

iBelieve, you don't have to go to hospital. How do you feel about a home birth?

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 20:07

Spotting can be absolutely normal - pink or brown is pretty normal. If it's fresh blood or you have bad cramps then it's recommended that you call the EPU to get checked out. Spotting when your period would normally be due is absolutely normal.

And yes I have a friend also who has regularly bled throughout and is 22 weeks.

Fx for sticky beans all round

broodylicious · 11/11/2014 20:57

sarky, you did so well to stick it out today - I'd have probably not even turned up. It's like a bloody preggo non anonymous meeting! Dreadful idea! Do you think it's a cost saving measure by your nhs?

Spotting is normal this early on but still scary now we've got used to the idea of carrying a littlie. My advice would be to monitor it and see your GP if it gets heavier. Fx though you will be fineThanks

I've had some pulling and stretching feelings today but I don't feel constantly dizzy (thank goodness) or nauseous, just on and off. With dd, I had sickness from about six weeks to six months so I'm enjoying these blissful days while the ball of cells currently in my womb is developing into an actual bubbaSmile

TouchPauseEngage · 11/11/2014 21:07

Sdyer I'm sure everything will be fine but will keep fingers and toes crossed anyway!

Hello to all the newbies. Hope everyone is feeling ok.

I have developed a bump today- I'm sure it's gas but it's bloody huge and works mates definitely noticed today! Hoping it is gas and it disappears tomorrow rather than an extra baby in there Shock

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 11/11/2014 21:11

:O how many weeks are you touch?

I have been v crampy today, sort of stabby stretchy, not dull and achey like af. So strange to think there are cells multiplying in my uterus :)

Broody when was your af due?

TouchPauseEngage · 11/11/2014 21:11

Also, I'm watching Miracle Babies. I really should turn it off shouldn't i?

TouchPauseEngage · 11/11/2014 21:12

I'll be 7 on Thursday. Far far too early for a bump!

WantToGoingTo · 11/11/2014 21:13

Also, thought it fitting I now change my name - wanttobe under a new guise :)
