Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

Thanks zampa

I have so much to learn!

SoapSudBub · 10/11/2014 18:17

Hey guys tentatively joining here, edd 23rd of July!

Waves to Broody and Want fancy seeing you here Smile! Do the three of us have the same edd?

headlesschicken247 · 10/11/2014 18:36

Little annoyed now. Just went to the doc in order to start the paper work etc and they said I was a little early and that I needed to make another appointment. So now have the GP appt on the 25th Nov and my booking in appt with midwife on1 dec. Looks like I'm 12 wk on christmas day so won't get my scan until after as I'm away from the 21st - typical. Seriously thinking about having an early scan at about 10 weeks all being well so at least we can do the Christmas announcement

wanttobeamummyin2015 · 10/11/2014 19:53

Soap mine is 25 July so few days after you! Think broody said she was 23rd though?

broodylicious · 10/11/2014 20:19

Hi soap!! Wahoo!! A triplet of pregvemberettes in the same day, hey?! Lol.

Yeah my edd is July 23Smile It goes on the start of your last period so that's why there's a slight difference.

smallgreenbanana · 10/11/2014 23:18

Hello ladies, I'm due on 10th July. No morning sickness yet (!). Smile

SquirrelGirl78 · 10/11/2014 23:25

FleurChamp - yes off Harley St. Is not-for-profit specialising in fetal medicine. They recommended I come in at around eight weeks. £100 - expensive I know but worth it to find out one way or the other, I think anyhow? Hmm

Threeplus1 · 10/11/2014 23:58

I had an appointment this afternoon with one of the midwife clinics that offered to take me on. It was just a 'get to know eachother' kind of thing to see if I want them to take me on or go with the other clinic. They explained how the care works - pretty much same as in UK bar a few things. First very positive thing is that I will have the same team of 3 midwives (primary, back up1 and backup 2) throughout pregnancy, labour and post birth for 6 weeks. Other difference, not so positive, is that dating scans aren't routinely offered so, unless I opt for Down's syndrome screening, I will only have the one scan around 20 weeks Sad
I wouldn't normally go for testing but I'm considering it so I can get the scan - is that bad?!Confused

The testing involved a blood test and the ultrasound so nothing that will put the baby at risk or I'd not even think about it, being that I'm low risk. DH would rather I have the tests this time around

If I go ahead with this clinic then I'd have my booking in appointment at 8 weeks

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 06:03

Anyone else wake up at 5 every morning since you got pregnant? I just can't sleep!

I'm weird in that I'm hoping nausea will start. Last time it didn't and symptoms started to lessen towards mc at 7 weeks. I want nice strong symptoms this time.

I've got mw on tues. My surgery refer you straight to mw usually 7-8 weeks but I'm going earlier because of having got bfp in cycle after mc. Then booking in appointment and bloods 10 weeks followed by scan 12 weeks. I'm expecting I'll get early scan for dating as mine is bit trickier. I know I'm 4+3 but if using last bleed (mc) then I'd be 6+2. Lucky I know when I ovulated!

Hi fleur good to see you here!

Hi anyone else new, I only joined yesterday. Got bfp last week but I'm very nervous because I lost my last one at 7 weeks in September, went for early scan and it just hadn't developed properly :(. Really hoping this one sticks!

Good luck to everyone :)

headlesschicken247 · 11/11/2014 07:09

Leela I'm in exactly the same boat as you. Had one cycle post mc at end of August. Hoping for both of us that this one sticks

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 07:20

Smile Good luck to you too - it's terrifying but exciting x

ignominious · 11/11/2014 07:48

It's a very post MC thread isn't it! Is anyone NOT going to try and get additional early scan? I'm tempted by the Harley street not for profit place at 8 weeks. Might see when main NHS scan gets booked for though. Or is there a long queue for the private one, should I be booking early?

Thepurplegiraffe · 11/11/2014 08:02

I'm not sure yet Ignominious, I am definitely tempted but not really sure what to do. Have you booked your doctor appointment yet?

Fleurchamp · 11/11/2014 08:08

Hi leela I was up at 4am. This is unheard of, I love sleep and sleep (usually) loves me.

I did another test last night and told DH, he can't stop smiling bless him.

I am v worried after reading all the stories on here, I do hope all our little beans stick Smile

I am going to call my Dr and FMC to book an early scan for before Christmas.

Have you all started telling people? I am already panicking that everyone will guess anyway. I am never knowingly without a glass of wine in my hand at any party and the calendar is full of them for the next two months Hmm.

ignominious · 11/11/2014 08:11

Purple I saw gp on Friday so hopefully get booking in date in the next couple of weeks. Have you? You were having trouble getting in weren't you?

SquirrelGirl78 · 11/11/2014 08:23

Not too sure what the waiting list is like in Fetal Medicine Centre. I made appointment for eight weeks when I was about five weeks along. They do Saturdays too.

SophieBarringtonWard · 11/11/2014 08:29

I had a look at the Babybond website last night at the clinic near us, it is £99 and looks like availability in a week. Also contemplating going to the EPU (can self refer). Will probably do neither and just hang in there until I get my 12 week scan. I don't know. Also had a miscarriage in August although only around 6 weeks I think. Was feeling fine but now feeling anxious!

Thepurplegiraffe · 11/11/2014 08:45

Ignominious yes I am still having trouble. I can't get an appointment for weeks unless I go down first thing on the day, hang around and hope for the best. I work 1 1/2 hours away so not so easy to do. I have asked for the midwife to call me to see if I can skip that part but nothing yet.

SquirrelGirl78 · 11/11/2014 08:48

My nose has developed super-power status. Honestly, they could use me as an airport sniffer dog....if everything I smell didn't make me feel like puking! Nausea has bedded in with gusto this morning...Sad

misseskimo · 11/11/2014 08:53

Morning ladies! I seem to keep flitting between a few days where I'm so exhausted I'm falling asleep at 8pm on the chair, to what I had last night where I'm wide awake until 2am! Am finding the nausea is getting worse in the mornings now. DH brings me up 3 malted milks to eat before I get up, which some mornings I can do, others like today I can't even manage that!

Part of me hates it, but the other part of me panics everytime my symptoms dissappear cause I think somethings wrong!

Sarkymare · 11/11/2014 09:29

My sickness is a little different this time round. At the moment I only feel nauseous if I'm hungry or haven't eaten in an hour or two. As long as I keep stuffing my face I'm fine. I'm hoping it stays this way and I don't get HG again.

I have my group session in two hours. I don't understand why I have to have it. I don't particularly want every newly pregnant woman in the area to know that I am also pregnant. I will get to book a booking in appointment though so it's not all bad I guess.

Fleurchamp · 11/11/2014 09:56

sarky that doesn't sound fair at all. I wouldn't want to do that, I live and work in a small place at everyone would know. I even had to drive a few miles away to get a pg test as I couldn't go to the local chemist.

Leela5 · 11/11/2014 10:02

I'm not getting nausea apart from I feel bit sicky when I first get up, before I eat anything. It worries me as in my head that means symptoms are not strong :(

When did nausea start?

broodylicious · 11/11/2014 10:20

Gosh sarky, that does sound a little strange! How does that work?

I really love hearing about differences in antenatal care across the UK and further afield. It's so interesting to see how different trusts do things. I was happy with the care I received when I had dd (and since) but I loved the idea of fatty's postnatal care!

twinkletoes2015 · 11/11/2014 10:46

Leela, my nausea isn't strong at all. It comes and goes but I think everyone is different and the media have made us think that being violently sick is what we should expect being pregnant.

I have an awful migraine today though and have took the day off work. I suffer with migraines anyway but I can't take my usual pain relief so I'm hoping it disappears quickly by itself
