Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

I know sarky it's really hard to name check and remember who's who on the app isn't it

Sarkymare · 08/11/2014 19:01

Yes! I only downloaded it a few hours ago and it's giving me the rage already!

Bustherb · 08/11/2014 19:04

Thanks sarky and donotdisturb , I kept my pregnancy test but have just realised the lines disappeared. Luckily I took a pic of it so it's reassuring me its all real! I don't think I'll do another one in case it comes back negative even though I have a positive - paranoia is setting it! ConfusedShockWink Xx

Threeplus1 · 08/11/2014 19:49

I've been having cramps too, though mostly during the night sarkymare I'm trying not to think about it or read to much into it.... At only 4w1d I've got a loooong way to go to be out of the danger zone

twinkletoes2015 · 08/11/2014 19:53

I'm really crampy, have been constantly for 3 weeks Sad

misseskimo · 08/11/2014 22:09

I've been really crampy for the past two weeks, progressively getting worse hence the appointment/hospital visit last night! I have found though that a hot water bottle works wonders though! Dr told me to take paracetamol too which I did last night and found it to help.

Bustherb I did one of the first response tests with the two lines for BFP, and was so shocked I did a CB +/- just to be sure... Then called DH to check them too haha. I then did a CB digital the next day just to see the weeks, but that was only out of curiosity!

Hi all, does anyone use pure tea tree oil? I use it each night on my face as It treats my skin but tonight I read the side and it said consult a doctor if pregnant? Hmm

IBelieveInPink · 08/11/2014 22:48

Sdyer - they put that as a precautionary measure. Some essential oils are not safe to use in pregnancy, but tea tree is fine. If you are of a cautious nature, some places suggest using half measures during pregnancy, but I'm sure as long as you aren't using half a bottle it will be okay Smile

Ugh the nausea is in full flow and have photoshoot booked for today that I know I'll regret if I don't do it but really not feeling it :(
How are you all feeling today? Where is everyone? I'm in cambs

Sarkymare · 09/11/2014 08:49

Morning bikini!

I've been feeling quite nauseas today too. No sickness as of yet thank god. Your photoshoot actually sounds like fun! Go and enjoy yourself Wink

I'm from Bristol. I'm kind of hoping I might find someone local to me on here as I'm a bit of a loner with no real life friends at the minute.

fattycow · 09/11/2014 08:52

I had a photoshoot yesterday. The photographer showed me some of the pics and I look fat! I don't see it in the mirror, but on the pictures I could tell my face has changed!

sdyer · 09/11/2014 08:57

Morning all! Thank you I believe! I probably only use about 5 drops a day.
I live in Bromley Kent x

broodylicious · 09/11/2014 08:59

Thepurplegiraffe · 09/11/2014 09:20

Congrats Broody, great to see you here!

Bustherb · 09/11/2014 09:31

Finally persuaded my hubby to have an early scan! So tomorrow I'm going to book one for 8 weeks which is in 2 weeks time. Can't wait!! WinkGrin xx

fattycow · 09/11/2014 10:10

I cannot wait for my first scan! Roll on November 27th! Smile

Sarkymare · 09/11/2014 10:17

Grrr I haven't even got a date for a booking in appt until I do this group session on Tuesday. So I'm quite jealous of you two with your scan dates! Wink

fattycow · 09/11/2014 10:20

I got my date 2 weeks ago!

Sarkymare · 09/11/2014 10:29

luckycow a-hem I mean fattycow have you already had your booking in appointment then? How long did you have to wait to have it?

I did see a midwife or have a scan till I was past twenty weeks with my first so I have no idea when I can expect to have them.

Sarkymare · 09/11/2014 10:30

Did not*

fattycow · 09/11/2014 10:36

Things are a bit different over here (I'm in the Netherlands). As soon as you find out, but at least before 7 weeks, you contact the midwife. I filled in an online form and she got back to me the same day with a date for the first scan. That is also the first appointment.
Mine is at 9 weeks, but that is also because I requested an appointment at a time that my husband can be there without taking time of work. The only day that they offer afternoon appointments for the first appointment is on Thursday and I wanted one at 5pm. If I wasn't that 'picky', I might have had another date. Although 9 weeks is a good point for a scan, so maybe it would have been the 27th anyway.

fattycow · 09/11/2014 10:44

I am also trying to decide where to go for my postnatal care.
After giving birth, you have the right of postnatal care at your home by a specially trained person. If you want to, she already comes in during labour to assist the midwife. After giving birth you have 8 days of the lady coming in. If you have to stay in the hospital, you get less days, but with a home delivery you get the full 8. She takes care of mum and baby, helps with household chores, and if you already have children, she helps with them as well.
I really like this system, as it means there is a professional to help you. She can help you with breastfeeding, can teach the dad things (nappies, baths, making bottles if you bottle feed, how the washing machine works... depends on how 'useless' the daddy is Wink ), keeps an eye on your bits to see if they are healing well, feeds you (how lovely to have someone make you a sandwich when you are in bed) and does all kind of things. As dads only get 2 days off here, this is especially helpful when he goes back to work. Also, she boots out visitors if mum needs rest! Mum and baby are her priority and she is not scared to tell any visitors that they need to go or unannounced visitors that they are not welcome at the moment.

Sarkymare · 09/11/2014 10:49

Oh right thank you. I forget that people from all over the world use this site.

Im glad you managed to get a date for when your husband can attend Smile

Sarkymare · 09/11/2014 10:52

Is it too late for me to come to the Netherlands for my pregnancy and birth? That sounds amazing!!
