Hi!

After approx 5 15 BFP's ranging from super faint IC's to super
BFPS with FRER - I am due DC4 1st July Grin

Already have ds1-16y,ds2-12y, ds3-6y.

Ds3 will be 7yo before dc4. Didnt really think it was such a big gap as he still feels like young iyswim til I sat and thought about it! Shock

Hello I've finally got a BFP at 17 dpo after 2.5 years ttc my 2nd! Due on 7/7/15 :)

Tiptoeshoes · 08/11/2014 07:35

Oh no poor misseskimo. Hope you have slept ok and are feeling ok today. Great to have an early scan date but annoying you still have to wait.

Welcome new ladies, amazing result lelton 2.5 years trying whoop!

I definitely don't have insomnia but then I have a toddler who has always been allergic to sleep and who like to wake up regularly to check in..Hmm

Sarkymare · 08/11/2014 08:00

Morning all

I'm so tired this morning. I tried to have an early night last night and DS still had me awake almost all night.

I started to feel sick at about 3am. Which I think is because I'm tired rather than morning sickness.

Why the hell am I symptom spotting? I will begging the pesky buggers to go away within a month Grin

TouchPauseEngage · 08/11/2014 08:03

Morning all, and yes to insomnia. Though last night was actually ok - perhaps because I was so shattered!

I noticed the food chat earlier and there is some interesting info in the article re cheeses (and other food)
www.theguardian.com/society/2007/may/29/health.medicineandhealth
Also, with my cook hat on: if your going to bake pasturised Camembert it needs to be really really ripe or it will curdle. Would hate to imagine lots of excited pregnant women staring sadly into their clumpy camembert Grin

twinkletoes2015 · 08/11/2014 08:46

Morning Smile

I'm suffering from insomnia too, I'm awake at 3am every morning and up by 5 and working 9 hours a day, 6 days a week so I'm so tired!

I was woken up this morning with terrible trapped wind and bloating, I was doubled up in pain but it went as quickly as it came. Anyone else suffering with trapped wind and constipation? Apologies for the topic of discussion so early on a Saturday morning, I've already put my boyfriend off his breakfast!

BikiniCompMum · 08/11/2014 09:19

Sorry name change lol it's lelton but would prefer to keep anonymity :)
I've had really bad insomnia too and the sickness oh the sickness I'd forgotten how bad it was!

I have made cheesy pancakes which went down well- my prob is unless I'm eating I feel sick!

BikiniCompMum · 08/11/2014 09:19

No trapped wind here but it's pretty common- get in the prunes lol I lived on them the first time round :)

Zampa · 08/11/2014 09:51

My digestive system is definitely making itself known! Also seem to have developed a pot belly in the past week.

Off to football this afternoon, where I normally drink copious amounts of lager. Working on my excuses as I type.

BikiniCompMum · 08/11/2014 10:13

Anyone else really clumsy? I just dropped a brand new jar or hazelnut spread :(

TouchPauseEngage · 08/11/2014 10:22

Good luck with the excuses Zampa! I've found it easier than expected to fool people and am I not someone who abstains if there is wine around! In other news I've just met my sisters puppy. It is the cutest thing is have ever seen and thankfully DDog just tried to lick her to death rather than eat her! It's peeing it down and I've been out walking for a hour so I'm having a bath and lighting the fire!

ignominious · 08/11/2014 11:09

Wildfire my EDD is 12th too. Everyone else is doing it then so why not..

Just ate raw egg oh well.

TouchPauseEngage · 08/11/2014 11:16

Panic not Ig! If it was lion stamped you'll be fine!

DoNotDisturb · 08/11/2014 11:43

Wow I was second message on here and I blinked and now there are over 400Grin

Hi everyone. I think I'm due 4th July but not 100% sure..

This will be my fourth so feeling slightly mad and a bit scared to tell anyone as they were all shocked I went for number three never mind four..

After three previous pregnancies my belly appears to look 6 months already Hmm

TouchPauseEngage · 08/11/2014 13:14

Wow doNot you realise this will make you our resident pregnancy guru! You'll have to answer all our questions about wind and bloating Grin

SophieBarringtonWard · 08/11/2014 14:45

Touch that was a great article, thanks for linking to it.

Have asked my GP to refer me to a case loading midwife service but heard nothing which is making me fret as I am now worrying about getting scan in time for nuchal test etc...

No symptoms other than tiredness which is normal, DC got up at 5.45 today! Boobs slightly bigger but I think their years of breastfeeding have changed their reaction to pregnancy!

TouchPauseEngage · 08/11/2014 14:56

Glad you liked soph!
I've been desperate to find some actual analysis of the risks rather than just blanket 'don't do this' advice.

DoNotDisturb · 08/11/2014 15:33

Ha ha fire away with any questions and I'll try my best Grin. I too am windy though so don't have a cure Wink

misseskimo · 08/11/2014 18:01

Congrats lelton! I was 3.5yrs, so know how much relief it is to finally get a BFP!

Thanks tiptoshoes and zampa feeling alot better today after some much needed sleep! That and woke up to find DH had gone shopping and bought me a load of biscuits and hot chocolate to make me feel better bless him! Just gotta keep everything crossed for 21st that all is well!

I'm exhausted all the time, my Dr told me last night to switch from the pre-conception vitamins to a pregnancy one as they should help with the tiredness, so I went out and got some today!

Threeplus1 · 08/11/2014 18:40

donotdisturb I'm also expecting my 4th.... I can only imagine the looks I'm going to get when all is revealed Grin especially since we were adamant we were finished!

Sarkymare · 08/11/2014 18:43

Is anyone else feeling really crampy? Since about 2pm I have had short shooting pains every now and then. What worries me is that each time it happens in the exact same place. On the left hand side just above and directly behind my pelvic bone. Any ideas ladies?

sdyer · 08/11/2014 18:48

I had those pains last week but it went away after a few hours. I put it down to trapped wind x

Bustherb · 08/11/2014 18:49

Anyone else only done the one test? I've read a few posts with people saying they've done more than 1 test over a few weeks and I've only done 1 test Confused xx

Sarkymare · 08/11/2014 18:54

Thanks syder I hope you're right.

buster I did a couple of tests out of sheer paranoia. It isn't necessary, a positive is a positive after all. I actually found testing multiple times worried me further so I have vowed not to take another now.

Sarkymare · 08/11/2014 18:55

Sdyer sorry, I'm on the phone app and cannot see the thread whilst typing.

DoNotDisturb · 08/11/2014 18:57

I know threeplusone I'm seriously not looking forward to telling anyone. How long do you reckon you can hide it??

Sarky. Those pains sound like stretching pains. I'd try not to worry. If it's only one side it's possible that's the side uou ovulated on and have implanted on.. Pregnancy is 9 months of weird feelings and pains

Re tests. I've only done one so far but tempted to do a clearblue soon to see if it says 3+ weeks as that will put my mind at rest that the hormones are increasing as they should..

I'm also totally exhausted like everyone. It's like you've been travelling all day and are your wiped!!
