Just Shagging Grads thread No.13 for upduffed viroids!

Nessalina · 06/10/2014 07:46

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 13th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed! Grin

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 29th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy! Grin

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates! It's a bit quiet at the moment, but with all these upduffed viroids hopefully it won't be for long!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

So, roll call below please, viroids! Smile

couldbeanyone · 17/10/2014 19:53

Gaggia yes had to pay for photos but paid for one and lovely sonographer gave us four Smile

wilmabedrock · 17/10/2014 20:03

Hope they're both ok Popz.

RPopz · 17/10/2014 20:07

They're both ok, baby boy in neonatal. There was talk of her having a section last night as her and baby's heart rate were so high. She had fluids, steroids etc and then stabilised, was meant to be going home this aft... and then contractions started Shock

JuniDD · 17/10/2014 20:56

comes to hide in thread from grumpy MrJ

So sorry for what you're going through gaggia, all the bleeding sounds horrendous. I hope you're being well looked after and can rest up this weekend.

rpopz yikes, that's very early, hope they are both doing ok.

Mr J is Cooking so I must be very quiet and not speak to him. Hmm Think we're going to have to move my parents in once baby is here, the poor man cannot cope with more than one task at a time. His phone rang at the beginning of the cooking and you'd think the devil was on his back the stress it caused. ARGH.

wilmabedrock · 17/10/2014 21:32

The upside to that Juni is at least he cooks.

Congratulations on a good scan could.

Nessalina · 17/10/2014 21:40

Haha! My DH cooked tonite and he was moaning that the Costco pie that he'd bought didn't have any instructions on, so the chips were cooked & the pie wasn't. I pointed out that the instructions were on the inside of the box Grin silly boy

ChatEnOeuf · 17/10/2014 21:48

Wow Popz hope the littlie does ok!

Thanks Gaggia

Could, so pleased the scan was good news Smile

KatoPotato · 17/10/2014 22:08

gaggia I am so so sorry. I hope you're being well looked after.

Sorry I hope this isn't tactless but can I ask a maternity clothing question? My waist has thickened somewhat and my 10 jeans are agony. Do I buy size 10 maternity jeans? Or 12? And what sort of waistband? I'm now 10 weeks? (And still terrified of buying such items yet!)

wilmabedrock · 17/10/2014 22:15

I am normally a ten and buy size 10 maternity. I bought a pair of size 12 which I can wear but they annoy me as they're too loose really. Like any clothes though, sizes differ between brands. Under bump waistbands imo are less comfy and when the bump gets big the trousers don't stay up well so I would go for the over the bump ones.

JuniDD · 17/10/2014 22:22

Congrats on good scan could.

I'd say it's the kind of thing you have to try on. The sizing is ridiculous in a lot places. I'm smaller in Topshop maternity than normal, which is nice but a bit awkward in the changing room as I was taking in bigger sizes! I get on really well (on the whole) with ASOS sizing, I'm a 12 in that as I am normally. I find over-bump really uncomfortable, can't tolerate anything digging in at all. I am mainly wearing pyjamas at this stage though. Wink I have no idea what I'm going to wear after, loose dresses I guess. And PJs!

MrJ is now grudge cleaning the kitchen. This means he gets to sulk for the rest of the evening about how hard he has worked and cannot do a thing for me. Luckily, I'm in a good mood tonight or it would be rowsville at bedtime!

wilmabedrock · 17/10/2014 22:27

Haha Juni as long as he's cleaning!

How funny we totally said the opposite. Probably do just have to try stuff on to know what you prefer. Weirdly I found ASOS stuff really big for size but then I'm short and it all seemed quite long. I mostly stick with h&m.

JuniDD · 17/10/2014 22:35

Hehe, indeed. He is a good man, just a bit stroppy which isn't good when everything offends me!

I just can't get on with overbump at all but I seem to be in a real minority with that. Shhh about ASOS cutting big, I am a 12, I am! Wink. I think my shortiness confuses the midwives as they keep saying I'm slight but I'm really not and I've put on 3 stone! Maybe all the other women around here are giants? Tee hee!

I've told my glam friend she's got to take me shopping after for some nice new stuff (wonder when that will happen!!)

Nessalina · 18/10/2014 01:32

I've finally realised that I am actually getting the Toni Braxtons! Grin
I was expecting them to hurt, but it actually just makes my bump go hard all over. I'd thought it was baby thrusting his back up against my bump! Well, he does that too, but it's not the same.
Quite glad, I was feeling left out Grin

OP posts:
cookielove · 18/10/2014 03:28

ness I never got the toni's, I feel all left out now! Ahh well I got the baby so I guess I am in the club Grin

Ds just puked everywhere, yay Hmm

wilmabedrock · 18/10/2014 04:22

Oh dear Cookie, is he quite pukey in general? I once got what felt like a bucketful down the cleavage after a night feed Grin .

God it's getting earlier each day. I can't cope with this being my new wake up time!

Minion · 18/10/2014 04:51

ness, I thought I had a Toni tonight at the pub. Not sure though but it was uncomfy.
popz 28 weeks!! FFFAAARRRKKKKK , hope they are both ok! She's done so well, I wouldn't have known anything at 28 weeks... still don't
cookie me and Elijah must be on the same vom schedule. I had a pukefest tonight after dinner. I've noticed my sense of smell ramping up again and I've started to Bork again, so it was inevitable really.
Sickness in the 3rd tri!
Lucky me.

cookielove · 18/10/2014 07:52

wil no he usually isn't, but I wonder if it is cause I changed his formula to comfort cause he puked last week when we gave him colief! Bless him I was in bed so shimmied out with him keeping him in the same position (facing my chest) when I got a look at him he had a beard of sick and I was sick like it was a t-shirt Confused

He did however sleep till 7.20 am

TheBooMonster · 18/10/2014 08:26

cookie do you know what's setting him off? DD had real issues with formula and colief worked for a while but then seemed ineffective. The dietician put her on Nutramigen which totally did the trick. (Turns out DD is an anomaly who has soya intolerance with a secondary milk protein intolerance. When those two come together it's generally the other way round.) so if you think he has cows milk issues I'd totally push for a tin of Nutramigen, the stuff tastes awful, never accidently eat something you cook with it boark

laurenamium · 18/10/2014 09:02

Morning viroids!

Thanks Gaggia!

I went out for tea and non alcoholic cocktails last night with the girls for my birthday get together. It was nice being social and not just the pregnant one, and they all got hammered so was very entertaining. I'm enjoying being smug this morning with no hangover while they're all texting Vom faces!

DM is having DD tonight too so me and DP can have date night...I feel almost like I have a social life! Can't remember the last time I had plans 2 nights in a row Shock

RPopz · 18/10/2014 09:14

Haha you'll be shattered tomorrow Lauren Hardcore socialising Smile

Sorry about the borking Min!! Sad

Poor Eli, hope he's ok Cookie - Did smile a bit at his beard of sick tho Smile

4.22 Wil ! WTAF!

Feeling a bit shellshocked at the arrival of the first January baby! (Lord knows how she's feeling) Childbirth/ having a new born was still feeling comfortably far away for us til last night! Kind of thought we were organised but we're so not... Confused

wilmabedrock · 18/10/2014 09:32

Ah * Popz, it's not very common, we still have ages head firmly in the sand.

Luckily I got another hour and a half sleep. Still feel shit though!

Nessalina · 18/10/2014 10:35

I think cookie was a wake up call for me when Eli arrived early Shock It can happen any time!!! Sorry he's sicky Cookie Confused Did you sort things out with your 'D'P last night, or is there some wrangling to do??

Lauren - check you out with your social life Grin I'm impressed!

Min - I've heard that you can get the voms back again in 3rd tri, but that's pretty bad luck! You sure it wasn't just something you ate? Ugh, I hate to vom, hoping I'm all done there... Though apparently vomiting in labour is quite common!! Shock

I got practically a full nights sleep!! Didn't go to bed til 1:30, so when I woke up at 4, I turned over and went back to sleep Grin wooooo! Was woken by alarm. Got flu jab in an hour, less woo Hmm Hoping it doesn't knock me out for the day, got lots to do!

Flowers gaggia hope mrgaggia is looking after you

I've had the hard top of Bump toni braxtons at the same time as period pain didn't realise that's what they were till midwife told me, I thought the whole bump went hard !

37 weeks today, 1 fully cooked baby waiting for eviction ShockConfused
I've had 3 hours sleep on the sofa, DP came home hammered at 5 this morning. Really hoping this last week has just been a wobble for him & not a sign of things to come Sad

TheBooMonster · 18/10/2014 12:48

On the early baby front, it would be easier if the midwives didn't say at every opportunity "this is your first baby, your due date is x but you will totally go one or two weeks over" it made me 100% blasé about birth, no one had ever told me it was possible to have the baby early (apart from my mum who was convinced I'd go a week early), let alone be induced almost a month early, since then basically everyone I know who's had a baby has crawled out of the woodwork and said oh yea, mine was early, did I not say? This time round I totally plan to be ready by New Year!!
