Can I join the feeling pants brigade today? I had my 4weekly midwife check up today and my urine had slightly high sugar levels - cue me panicking about gestational diabetes all day Hmm it's also the busiest week of my working year, I've been running around like crazy and my back is now agony (I had an injury just over 3 years ago which causes me problems pretty regularly)

On a brighter note, our mortgage application has been submitted (stationaryace, nope you're not the only lunatic to be buying a house at this stage) and we've instructed the solicitors so we're just hoping everything goes through ok this time

24+6

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 28/08/2014 20:47

We didn't go to Harvester Hmm turns out he was JOKING.

Divorce.

MrsW27 · 28/08/2014 20:51

Sack him Peace, that's a hanging offence surely? Wink

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 28/08/2014 21:09

I PRINTED A VOUCHER AND EVERYTHING

monkeybaby2 · 28/08/2014 21:10

Leave the bastard.

monkeybaby2 · 28/08/2014 21:11

And Peace, your last post just made me laugh out loud Grin

CatFaceCrayola · 28/08/2014 23:17

peace you make me laugh!

My emotions really have been all over the show today! Thank goodness my DH is so understanding. Hoping I feel more normal after a nights sleep.

How long do itchy nettle rashes stick about for? Yesterday morning I had to go for a nature wee (it was particularly memorable as the only secluded-ish bush in a park full of joggers was a piggin' holly bush!) and think I got my ankles nettled or similar. They didn't really show up til today but I now have red itchy spots on my ankles (and possibly a matching one on my right boob... I was not peeing topless so lord knows how). Do I need to be worried?

Danibogs · 28/08/2014 23:30

Cuppa - how are you doing today? Hope things are ok after your scare yesterday. I was doing lots of literature searching last week and it made me go a bit mad-hope bath and early night helped x

Good luck those of you moving house-hope all is going smoothly!

Feeling guilty after reading your posts about swimming. Had fully intended to go swimming after work tonight but made the mistake of sitting on the couch in front of dinner date and that was that. Been rubbish at exercise recently. Thinking of trying pregnancy yoga at the weekend-does anyone do this? Recommend?

peace really feel for you! You made me laugh too. You're definitely owed a slap up meal to make up for it!

Friday tomorrow hooray! Hope those of you feeling pants have a better day tomorrow. I'm still feeling so happy that baby is ok, at the moment even these hormones can't bring me down (hope it lasts)! Take care of yourselves all. Nightnight Smile

Taura · 29/08/2014 07:14

Feeling like crap with a cold today. Yesterday I went for a 30-min nap in our Wellbeing room (lockable door, large comfy sofa) and today I feel more rubbish so it's probably best to snuggle down for the day. I've not had a sick day in 3 years before being pregnant. :(

PourquoiTuGachesTaVie · 29/08/2014 07:31

Had a series of weird and detailed dreams last night and woke up with another nosebleed.

monkeybaby2 · 29/08/2014 08:01

Dani I did pg yoga last time and loved it. We have since moved areas and my beloved yoga teacher moved to Canada anyway so am desperately trying to find somewhere else.

CatFaceCrayola · 29/08/2014 09:02

I've been doing antenatal yoga. I like it. Also been to some regular yoga classes and adapted things/taken it very easy.

I had a whole series of six dreams last night.... Some of them involved DH :/

CatFaceCrayola · 29/08/2014 09:03

*Sex dreams

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 29/08/2014 15:00

It's payday hurray! I'm well up for going shopping this afternoon, but alas, still two hours left at work.
Three lovely days off after today, though Smile
Any plans for the weekend yet?

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 29/08/2014 15:46

heelloooo!!! We left Penzance at 10 and have only just passed Exeter! Its been fun Grin Were doing ok but have just hit traffic again. DP has justhad a can of monster and is hyper. Kids are bored. All three cheat at I-spy. Angry

SassehMonsta · 29/08/2014 16:29

hahaha BHLS :) Hope things get better and traffic clears up! All men and kids cheat at i-spy.

No, not a yoga fan, but may go for a swim this afternoon, despite going yesterday to aquanatal. Not working due to moto GP on near work (I work 3 miles away from Silverstone, no wayyyy am I queuing from the M1 all the way to work!!)

Aquanatal was good last night - 16+ of us, and I was no longer the furthest away due date like I have been the last 6 weeks!! Hurrah! There was an April due date (dragged by a friend, bless her) a Feb lady, and 2 end of Dec ladies, and another lady who is due 3 days before me. I no longer feel so alone being a Dec mummy!! Plus, T (lady whos due on the 10th) will probably also be on labour ward with me rather than the mlu - will be nice to possibly know someone!

Currently in bed doing naff all... Oops.

Lucy90 · 29/08/2014 16:54

Im working all weekend so no excitement for me!
Is anybody considering a 4D bonding scan? Id like to have one but would like some other thoughts on it before we book. Id just like to see my little girl again before she actually arrives! The next 16 weeks will drag otherwise :(

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 29/08/2014 16:58

Still in traffic. Dss2 has had two bottle wees. DP is adamant he cant fit his willy in the bottle. We are at a standstill 6 miles from the services..... Sad

LisaC2611 · 29/08/2014 17:32

Lucy we have booked a 4d scan for the end of September, even though we have another nhs scan 2 weeks later. There was a deal for it in groupon. I wasn't sure whether I actually wanted one as I find then a bit scary but as hubby pointed out if we have one and don't like it we never have to look at it again but if we don't have it I will end up regretting it.

All our plans for the weekend have been scuppered. Was meant to be going to my sis for a BBQ tomorrow for her and my nieces birthday but she's cancelled it and then was supposed to have someone coming to look at my car to sell it on Sunday and they are now not coming Confused.

Don't know what we are going to do now - hubby will probably spend all weekend on the computer so I'll be on my own Hmm

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 29/08/2014 17:37

DH finds 4D scans scary too! I think they look like a baby made of liver or something Confused not trying to put you guys off at all! If they weren't so expensive I might think about having one too, just for the experience.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 29/08/2014 17:49

I'm not mad keen on seeing my babys face before I see her in the flesh. Feel like its a bit like unwrapping a Christmas presents before Christmas but I can see why people would qant to.

Still in traffic. Only DSS2 has food. He saved his pasty from lunchtime. The rest of us have pasty envy.

PolytheneGirl · 29/08/2014 18:28

BHLS it has taken us from 10am till 5:15pm to get home from Dorset! I'm never leaving the house again! Good luck!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 29/08/2014 19:05

Still in traffic. I am going to have my baby in this car aint I.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 29/08/2014 19:24

Oh god BHLS you'll have to break your waters into a bottle.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 29/08/2014 19:34

I'm happy to soak DPs seats in this instance! Grin Offthe motorway now and following The Longest Diversion inthe World as road home is closed. Someone is fucking with me I am sure.
