Hello America!
You're all making me want to go and get measured. Definitely need a better bra. Taking my bra off is one of the things I most look forward to when I get home from work!

America1 · 17/09/2014 22:32

Hello Smile

anyone getting a pressure on outside of public bone when they walk or stand? Its not painful and not all the time.....is this braxton hicks?

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/09/2014 22:44

Haha no not compared to you BHLS! If I ever get into a 38 I'll be walking around with my label hanging out all day to show off Grin

monkeybaby2 · 17/09/2014 22:58

Hi America Grin we have an fb group running too! let me know if you want in

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 17/09/2014 22:59

As will I! Grin Anyway, the babyweight and the pre pregnancy weight are just going to FALL off when the baby is born.....Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 17/09/2014 23:06

I lost loads of weight a few years ago on one of those awful starvation diets, and got into a size 16 top for the first time since I was about 16 years old, ha! The label on that did keep falling out accidentally Wink

America1 · 18/09/2014 00:04

Yes please monkey baby Smile

Roonerspism · 18/09/2014 05:50

Hello all. Been offline a while!

Has anyone taken paracetamol when pregnant? I know it's ok occasionally but I'm battling awful sinus pain which is stopping me sleeping :(

Welcome america :)

Lucy90 · 18/09/2014 06:52

Ive been wearing sports bras so far and theyve been really comfortable (£2 from primark!)
And i take one paracetamol when i have headaches, im not sure what else is okay during pregnancy.
Off to work now then going to my mums tomorrow for a long weekend of pampering :)
26+3

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 18/09/2014 06:53

Paracetamol is fine.

Peace, Grin I look terrible in a size 14. Ill and gaunt. Last time I lost enough weight to squeeze into a size 14 people kept asking whether I was ill. 16 is my ideal size. I know for some thats unimaginable but that's my body shape.

Although right now my body shape is like a number 6 with legs1

espa · 18/09/2014 06:54

Also agree paracetamol is fine.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 18/09/2014 07:46

I was taking 6-8 paracetamol a day when I was really poorly last week. No one died. I think you need to be careful with ibuprofen, and the official advice with any medicine is to take the minimum required to make you feel better, for as short a time as possible. Hope you feel better soon.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 18/09/2014 07:57

Oh and I dreamt last night that I gave birth already (25+5). The baby was okay but so tiny! It was a boy and they kept calling him Derek Confused they let me take him home in a Moses basket with no lining or mattress!

LotsaTuddles · 18/09/2014 08:33

When my tooth is sore (that they can't take out because I'm pregnant) I have to take loads, my mw recommended that so I'm assuming it's fine.

Anyway it's been proven that paracetamol is as effective as smarties (or something similar, FiL told me)

MrsW27 · 18/09/2014 08:49

Hi America! I too get pain in my pubic bone when I stand up, my belly isn't tight so don't think it's Brixton hicks for me but am going to mention it to midwife when I see her next week

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 18/09/2014 09:10

Pain in pubic bone could be start of SPD. Def get it checked. I'm still waiting for referal to physio (so much for urgent) but today I can hardly walk let along truck across the west midlands on public transport. Sad Saw the consultant on tues and she said that shed chase the referal but to take paracetamol foe it. Like it does any good. Also still waiting for MH referal. Apparently due to a mix up it was passed back to GPs to manage my care when I should now be under the hospital. Its a good thing the pills areworking Grin I am miserable today. Tired and have a stinking cold.

Roonerspism · 18/09/2014 09:20

Thanks all. Pain in face is thumping.

Didn't realise so many struggling with SPD. It's a bugger of a thing Flowers

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 18/09/2014 21:24

Had a white wine spritzer with my dinner tonight and I am soooo tipsy Shock now in the hotel bar making the barman make me cocktails without the vodka (the price went from £5 to £1.90 Grin). Back to reality tomorrow :(

Taura · 18/09/2014 21:51

Went to a nice Mexican restaurant for my birthday a couple of months ago and had some very nice virgin margaritas. Very lovely.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 18/09/2014 22:07

I am not sure I could drink mocktails without weeping....Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 18/09/2014 22:34

Omg there's a Mexican fast food place near me that does frozen non-alcoholic margueritas. Do want!

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 19/09/2014 07:09

Its ten past seven in the morning and now I am craving MexicanGrin

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 19/09/2014 08:39

Sorry to moan but I really don't feel well. I'm knackered to the core, my head hurts and I have a cold. Also dizzy and feel sick. I will be leaving work at midday if I still feel this shit. Hmm I can't wait till maternity.

LotsaTuddles · 19/09/2014 08:39

I was thinking exactly the same BHLS, unfortunately I need to go shopping, so have nothing of any use whatsoever to cook.

My hips have been killing me the last couple of days. It's like a grindy feeling whenever I try to move. I got stuck on the sofa the other night Blush

Bubblybint · 19/09/2014 08:43

Hi can I join too please? I'm due on 6th December. I feel so underprepared - can't help but think December will hit me before I know it! Looking forward to a great (and tiring) Christmas though
