So sorry sleepingflower Thinking of you.

Lots of stretching type pains for me today. I'm 10+4 so guessing things are just growing? I dunno, it's my first, I'm completely winging it!

DurhamRed · 01/09/2014 17:53

My thoughts are with you sleepingflower

When is your scan date date Kitten?

Twittwooo · 01/09/2014 18:15

So sorry to hear your news sleepingflower. I had two MC in a row before DD, and it's really hard to deal with. Take care of yourself. Zebra - thank you. I am feeling much better and have heard some reassuring stories. I've had an extremely busy day at work today which helps take my mind off things and, fingers crossed, no bleeding or anything else today. I've also noticed how huge my tummy looks! I'm sure some of my older and more observant female pupils have probably guessed! I've already told my colleagues, otherwise that would be a dead cert. I'm sure I wasn't anywhere near as big last time around at this stage.

TeresaGreene · 01/09/2014 18:21

So sorry to hear you news sleepingflower - you and your family are in my thoughts.

Pinksun12 · 01/09/2014 18:30

So sorry sleepingflower I hope you get all the support you need

theonewiththenoisychild · 01/09/2014 18:39

had my booking appointment this morning. all went well. midwife says my baby will be delivered 1-2 weeks early by elective c section. and if all goes well i can go home 24 hours later. and even tho my spinal anesthetic wore off mid op i should still be allowed to be awake. surprised to see green notes have been replaced by a big chunky purple folder. but it does look a lot tidier and better organised Smile

kittenmamma · 01/09/2014 18:43

Scan date is a week tomorrow, not sure if I might get a booking appt through the post tomorrow or something and have it before? I feel like I don't know enough about it all to be going to a scan yet!

PickledPorcupine · 01/09/2014 18:43

So sorry sleepingflower xx

DurhamRed · 01/09/2014 19:58

Not too long to wait then Kitten, bet you can't wait Smile

My scan is at 9.20am on Thursday morning, getting more excited/nervous now!

kittenmamma · 01/09/2014 20:53

I'm really nervous too. I'm very excited but I just want to know my right dates and see if everything is okay. I still think they might put me back to 8 weeks when I'm there.

persepolis123 · 01/09/2014 21:11

sleepingflower so sorry to hear your news Sad

kitten have you called your doctors surgery to find out why nobody has contacted you? I would be onto them if I were you.

I called the hospital today to rearrange my scan. I fibbed and told them I'm going away for two weeks not one, but it nearly backfired when the receptionist said they probably wouldn't be able to see me before I go away. My heart was in my mouth but then she said as I'm not having the nuchal test I would only need a 15 minute slot and found an appointment for next friday at 7pm. Yay!

Surfsup1 · 02/09/2014 01:30

Oh dear, My sugar cravings are back! They hit me every pregnancy, although I thought I might have gotten of lightly this time, but no! This morning I didn't feel like breakfast until I opened the fridge and it turns out DH bought a sour-cherry pie at the farmers markets on the weekend. I'm sure the rest of the family will enjoy the other half! Blush

I've got my 12 week scan tomorrow woohoo!! Can't believe how expensive it is here in Aus!! This is going to be one gold-plated baby!

bouncesky · 02/09/2014 10:04

I hope you are being looked after sleeping flower.
I am 15 weeks today, the last few weeks seem to have gone by so quickly! I have my 16w antenatal check up booked for a week tomorrow. Morning sickness came back yesterday! I thought I'd be over that by now!

Any one had any thoughts on cosleepers like the Bednest?

M27J5M · 02/09/2014 10:40

DurhamRed · 02/09/2014 11:11

Love the bump pic mypanda Smile

Not long now M27 can't wait for the scan...exciting!! (I'm nervous too but keeping positive that all will be well)

DurhamRed · 02/09/2014 11:12

Sorry I meant Rainbow regarding bump pic! Doh!!

Hope you get your scan date through soon mypanda

Lifeisabeach · 02/09/2014 11:30

Sorry if I've missed whether you've said already, but are you having the nuchal, mypanda? It has to be done by 13+6 doesn't it? Can you ring the midwife or hospital and chase it?

I'm 11 weeks today and no scan date here either. I'm going to ring if I haven't heard by the end of the week.

M27J5M · 02/09/2014 11:41

I'm mega excited Durham Smile not so nervous as I had reassurance scan 2weekd ago Smile more excited cos I get to tell my ds afterwards Smile

persepolis123 · 02/09/2014 12:17

bouncesky I have a snuggle nest which I bought when DS was born. He always wanted to be close to us but I was scared of squashing him when he was small so it was a good compromise. Once he got a bit bigger we stopped using it and we still co-sleep now most of the time. We will need a bigger bed when baby arrives so we can all fit in it!

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 02/09/2014 13:34

life Yes I'm having the Nuchal done, My midwife said to leave it until the end of the week to chase it up but I'll be 13+3 by then so I'm not sure what to do

MyPandaisasecretmonster · 02/09/2014 13:59

I have just spoke to the hospital & they have booked me in for a scan on the 23rd of September , I'll be almost 16 weeks by then ffs Sad Sad

Butterpuff · 02/09/2014 14:20

boncesky I was 15 weeks yesterday....and felt sick all day and threw up when I got home! Also thought I was over the MS by now. You have my sympathy.

PickledPorcupine · 02/09/2014 15:29

Panda that's so annoying. Have you spoken to your midwife about it? If there's nothing you can do can you afford to go private? At least then you'll get reassurance and can tell people.
