Some baby monitors display the temperature so you may not need a gro egg.......

Ladylel · 31/07/2014 08:19

Both mum and oh said "why are you buying it, you'll know if it's too hot or cold" And I was like "wants....." I promise noy to get obsessive but I did have to see if it worked :) and it finally cooled down to 23 degrees in the end haha

Ladylel · 31/07/2014 08:21

I think the grandparents (Bert and Ernies Great grandparent that is) are buying us a monitor not sure what one tho :/ I assume it does I think it might even be a video one which I think is a bit pointless but a gift is a gift....

SassehMonsta · 31/07/2014 08:23

Teeheeheee pretty sure that "love egg" is a sex toy ;-)

Long day at work yesterday and.probably the same again today. Baby likes a good wriggle at all times of day :-) Dog keeps cuddling my bump!

Feeling positive again today, and day off tomorrow as its the bosses birthday. Hurrah!

DH calls my EOS lip balm my love egg lulz

littlepickly · 31/07/2014 09:09

We have a video monitor for DD and I thought it unnecessary at first but gosh it is v.addictive, you'll never get a normal one after that! Smile

miraculous2 · 31/07/2014 09:24

Bad night/ morning - hardly any sleep, headache and backache, stressy getting to the station because there's a cycle race on my road today and it's shut...
But we just got upgraded to first class on the train and my breakfast is on the way!!! Grin Nothing like free food to put the smile back on my face!

Ladylel · 31/07/2014 10:07

Imagine if someone took my word for it and googled baby love egg! Or worse went into mothercare or something to ask for one aha!

TMI this constipation thing, when does it happen so I can prepare myself. my bowel movements are very free, yesterday I visited the toilet for a number 2 4 times by 10am! It's not dirreahea but something is going through me currently on toilet trip j

Ladylel · 31/07/2014 10:08

Number 2 (Excuse the pun) as it is! Must have a high fibre diet! :/

miraculous2 · 31/07/2014 11:44

I've been on iron for 10 weeks so that's what causes mine. I eat a high fibre diet and still have to take several days at a time off the iron to get things moving again... Hmm

You might not have any trouble if you haven't so far! I never once puked so I can't really complain about this Smile

CatFaceCrayola · 31/07/2014 11:46

I had a phase of constipation but I seem to have gone the opposite way at present. Numerous number 2s per day

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 31/07/2014 12:12

My manager cancelled our meeting. I'm speechless! I WAS SO READY TO TELL HER.
Feels like I'm on death row and there's been a last minute delay. Okay, maybe a bit melodramatic.
She said she'd be back in September (!) but that would be really taking the piss, so I said I needed to talk about something personal, and she said she'll try to get over tomorrow morning, but otherwise she'll phone me. Can I do this over the phone?! Ha.

CatFaceCrayola · 31/07/2014 12:21

Pregnancy Pro: wearing a tight fitting dress and not having to hold my stomach in! :)

littlepickly · 31/07/2014 13:20

Catface - love it, only time I ever where a tight dress is when I'm pregnant!! Smile

Hope all goes well miraculous, thinking of you.

I wish my number 2's were as forthcoming as all of yours! I have a few days of being ok and then it all stops again Sad

Hello from Brum. Scan okay but now borderline Stage 3 based on recipient's heart. We're here just in time. I'm on the ward in my own room, everyone's amazing. Will be awake for the procedure, 8.30am, about half hour for the laser and a bit longer to take off fluid. Scan again at lunchtime, see if they both make it. Calm and steady here xxx

Somersetgirl1990 · 31/07/2014 17:05

Hoping everything goes well for you in the morning miraculous - I've got everything crossed for you and your little ones Thanks

CatFaceCrayola · 31/07/2014 17:28

Will be thinking of you miraculous

I'm considering having to cancel my weekend in Edinburgh :( just got the bus home and felt so travel sick. Made it to my stop but had to sit on floor while jelly legs subsided. Made it home but still threw up at home. This was a 5 minute bus journey.... A 2+hour train journey is currently terrifying me! :(

Hugmonster82 · 31/07/2014 18:02

Fingers crossed for you miraculous. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Hope you manage to get some rest tonight.
Pregnancy pro - got pulled out of a long queue in m&s food and marched straight to a till. I love m&sSmile
But after 3 blissful weeks of not feeling sick the nausea and exhaustion is back with a vengeance. I'm 22+1-shouldn't i be past that now?!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 31/07/2014 18:13

Good luck Miraculous.

oohdaddypig · 31/07/2014 18:18

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 31/07/2014 20:02

Good luck to you and your little ones miraculous. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. xx

LisaC2611 · 31/07/2014 20:44

Good luck tomorrow miraculous. Did you decide whether to find out the sexes in the end?

Pregnancy pro for me tonight my "Baby in Board" badge worked in the train home and someone got up and gave me there seat on a packed train. Chivalry is definitely not dead Grin

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 31/07/2014 21:23

Village show this Saturday and as we're working and driving down on Friday all the baking had to be done tonight. Focaccia (bigger than my head) and cheese scones done, but I had to come and lie down in a darkened room so DH is making a courgette and walnut cake downstairs alone and unsupervised. I can hear banging and hope it's just the walnuts being pulverised gently crushed.
Been so dizzy with the heat today and threw up this evening from the strain. If I worked in an office I'd definitely call in sick tomorrow, I can't take much more. If my manager does show up and I'm able to 'fess up, if she asks me if I need any adjustments made, would it be appropriate to ask for air conditioning? Grin
