Got my laptop out - this is me 18+5 (ie, Thursday).

Was told today my bump makes an entrance before I do, nd also asked (again) if I'm sure theres just the one. No, I'm just short (5ft) and probably carrying lots of fluid!

Taura I've been doing pregnancy yoga since 13 weeks and do think it helps with the aches and pains

Interesting to hear about the anterior high placenta. Had this on my 20w scan notes but they'd not mentioned what it meant, so good to hear this is probably why I'm not feeling big kicks yet.

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 19/07/2014 18:51

Sasseh that's a proper bump!! You look great.

Oh hey, lightning crotch, or "stabby vag pain" has returned. Yay Shock

miraculous2 · 19/07/2014 18:59

Drews Partick is an interchange station so transport should be alright and there's the subway (only until 6pm on Sundays). If I'm going I'm getting tickets from a musician friend who's playing at an event and assumed it would be the same thing you're going to but I think she's playing in Springburn Park.

Sasseh my husband is STILL laughing because last week he was standing on a beach waiting for me coming back from the toilet and from behind the building my "bump and boobs appeared, and then this skinny body followed behind, ha ha ha", as he recounts it, every time, with his impression of my skinny arms waggling around like Mr Friggin Tickle.

DrewsWife · 19/07/2014 19:11

Yes you are right. Springburn park... I'm a spud

htbftm · 19/07/2014 23:01

Hi all! Sorry I ve been missing, manic end of term, which is now done!! Yay! Great news on all the scans, and pinks and blues (and surprises!), and so chuffed you re hanging on in there miraculous!
20wk scan is Thursday and can't wait, to see lo, check its ok, find out what we re having and go shopping lol! :-). We re scandate buddies Sasseh!. I also have an anterior placenta, so feeling very little. Think I'm getting flutters on and off, bit they're not getting any stronger or more often, and I go days n days without anything :-(. Bump feels humongous! Look pregnant with clothes on, but its still squidgy and just feels fat! Is everyone else still squidgy or r they firming up?

Squidgy two part fat bumb here....

CatFaceCrayola · 20/07/2014 00:49

Had a wonderful and much appreciated night out celebrating a birthday with friends and family. Laughed so much I have given myself stomach cramp!

Called in at a wedding reception beforehand and got really annoyed at the number of people who said to my friend "you look lovely" and to me "you look pregnant" cheeky sods!

CatFaceCrayola · 20/07/2014 00:50

Also my bump is generally squishy but keep getting random hard crampy bits.

LotsaTuddles · 20/07/2014 07:34

Mine is squishy too, but also randomly hard an crampy.

Think my squid is sitting in a funny position as I can't really bend over today and picking DS up is really awkward

Ladylel · 20/07/2014 08:31

My bump does the hard and squishy thing too! Makes me paranoid about looking pregnant against looking chubbo.

Some mornings I wake up and it's harder but lost times it's soft. By time I eat it goes hard. If I stand up it's pretty much harder but half time I'm squishing it when I try and find the hard bit. Figured out I'm getting braxtons about twice a week ish so that's obviously the hard sensation when that happens.

Found it quite uncomfortable to sit last night without lying down or to the side I think the boys are having a good move around/ laugh at mummy when they decide to switch position.

Had a much better nights sleep. Woke up for one pee and was much more comfortable but prob down to being so tired from the night before!

Cuppachaplz · 20/07/2014 09:18

Hi all, been mad busy the last week, so just catching up.
Defo no hope of normal clothes now, but in the mornings I can still hide the bump. By the end of the day, I look like mr greedy though...
Has anyone else's movements stopped for a bit around 18w?

Ladylel · 20/07/2014 10:05

It's official I look pregnant... Proof!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/07/2014 12:54

I'm spending today knitting on the sofa and being brought cups of tea :) if only iPlayer would sort itself out, this would be heaven!

Cuppachaplz · 20/07/2014 13:15

Sounds divine peace my dream day! enjoy

Loving, all the bumps ladies :)

Spent the morning scrubbing everything in the house in an effort to try to stop the constant vomiting which gas returned (18 w, why???), and was looking forward to relaxing in super sparkly home with a cool drink or a cuppa, but now migraine setting in. Yuk!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/07/2014 13:26

Woah! A fly just came buzzing around my head and I leapt up, and felt a huge shift in my tummy! Did I shock the baby into moving? I thought that didn't happen until quite a bit later!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/07/2014 13:26

(17+1 btw)

miraculous2 · 20/07/2014 14:49

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 20/07/2014 17:41

Just been on the desktop site and Ladylel and Miraculous your bumps are great! I am definitely bigger in the front but no actual bump unfortunately.
I felt really dizzy and crap this morning because I've been really bad at taking my tablets at the same time every day. You'd think I'd have it down by now Hmm but when I felt better we decided to go for a walk along the canal in the village which was lovely, if a bit hot.
Also booked tickets to the theatre for the evening after we see the anaesthetist to determine whether I'm too fat for an epidural. I will definitely need a treat after that!
Hope everyone else is well?

ImBrian · 20/07/2014 18:08

My bump at almost 22 weeks, I feel huge and my bum is also beginning to think it's pregnant as well!

nickyjlees · 20/07/2014 21:39

What lovely bumps! Im filling mine with spag bol at the moment! ;-)

Totally overdone the dog walking this.weekend, plus a carboot browse with the mother - got 2 DVDs, a super cute snuggly teddy bear suit for bump, a rattle that sticks to the table, and a.hanging basket of fushias. Discovered while going "ohh thats a good idea, I need one of those" a lot, that my mum has LOADS of stuff in the attic for me!!! Will be demanding that it all comes out so I dont doublebuy or miss out on bargains!

Hope everyones had a good weekend and the heat isnt meltinh us all tooooo much (Aaargh!!)

Oh yes, LadyLel has.made a twins thread so you twin mummies should pop over there (its still under ante-natal board)

19+1, 2 days to consultant & 4 till scan!
