Wedidn't have a storm Sad desperately need one, it's going to be up to 33 degrees here today. Needless to say we've got minimal clothes on and staying indoors all day, leaving curtains closed.

I don't know why I do it to myself, but I was pregnant last summer too. I was a lot bigger this time last year but think it's worse this year as I have DS to try and keep cool and have to push him in his pushchair everywhere.

Oh God my tooth is killing me. Can't remember if I posted yesterday ( too lazy to check) but I have an infection in my wisdom tooth and it needs to come out but they can't do it while I'm pg, so just have antibiotics for now and have to keep going back for them if needs be. And I've got to go and get the filing that fell out about a year ago I need in August.

I really hate the dentist

SassehMonsta · 18/07/2014 08:58

AIBU just confirmed that no, I wasn't being unreasonable! Got bashed a bit for marrying a childish man and having a child with him, but I knew that before I married him! Some good tips about how to continue mind you, mixed in with the slatings. (basically, I put my foot down about buying a wii-u, we have other more important things to buy/save for!)

Storm woke me up with a rumble of thunder, dog slept through it, DH woke up, told me it was a storm, then went back to sleep. apparently there was pretty awesome lightning going on - I saw it through my eyelids!

As for alarms, I used to have a 7am alarm, but Igave up on that one. I now only have the 8am/pm alarm for dogs meds.

18+6!

Lying in bed this morning watching another storm (eyes open this time!) and baby was having a right party - woke dh up and put his hand on the right place and he could feel our little one squiggling :) First time, super pleased.

Today WILL be a good day.

I really want a storm, it's unbelievably hot here it's 26.7 degrees in my living room and I've got all Windows open and curtains closed so there's actually a nice breeze going through my house.

I can still only feel little flutters, I want to feel the big kicks. It's really strange, because I was so used to DS' big kicks, that it's really strange that I'm not getting them

Somersetgirl1990 · 18/07/2014 12:24

Yesterday during the scan the sonographer felt it kick, we got out and dp was jealous she'd got to feel it and he's only felt it a few times Grin

Amazing... Still at Stage 1. Big baby's fluids are really high now so they had to check my cervix again but it's in good shape. I'm so proud of these little fighters Smile I love them so much

Ladylel · 18/07/2014 14:20

Go miraculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Peaceloveandbiscuits · 18/07/2014 14:40

My mother stayed at ours last night (I only see her two or three times a year) and I had a day off today, so we went into town and had breakfast out and I bought a dress for my sister's upcoming wedding. Now I'm at home, contemplating a barbecue for dinner so that I don't have to cook!

PolytheneGirl · 18/07/2014 14:43

Urgh! I'm sooooo hot! All this crazy weather has got me thinking about doing the hospital dash in the snow!

Now on the 10day countdown to my scan!

Great news Miraculous! Smile

Somersetgirl1990 · 18/07/2014 14:46

Yay miraculous!! So pleased for you, Grin

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 18/07/2014 15:29

Miraculous thats brilliant!

LotsaTuddles · 18/07/2014 16:31

Miraculous, that's great news. You've definitely got the right nn.

I know, it's so hot here too, on the plus side, all of my waking is done and dried, now I've just got to tackle the ironing mountain tonight when it's cooled down a bit.

Hoping the weather's not too bad for the hospital dash as we'll have to drop DS off with whoever is going to have him aswell as getting to the hospital

nickyjlees · 18/07/2014 17:09

Fab news miraculous!

Bettycakes80 · 18/07/2014 19:23

Good news Miraculous!

Shanels · 18/07/2014 22:34

Hi everyone
Just been reading to catch up on all your news and funny stories. Miraculous am really happy to hear all is well. Nice to hear the positivity and strength in your 'voice'.

I had my 20 week scan today and we are having a girl. Our first so either would have been fine… We have another scan on Sunday for baby's heart to see if it has daddy's congenital heart disease. Fingers crossed all goes well there too.

Apparently my placenta is high anterior- and that might be why I'm not feeling baby much yet. Just some info for those who are not feeling kicks or punches yet.

No more thunder please- it was scary last night but i think we have loads more tonight and tomorrow.
Good night :)

CatFaceCrayola · 18/07/2014 23:28

20 week scan today.
Started off pretty stressed as DH never received my "bring my notes" text so it was a mad dash across town for them!

Generally felt much more relaxed than 12 week scan though. Also I drank loads but peed about 15min before so was far more comfortable

Baby is healthy and happy and just how baby should be. Baby was hiding it's face in a corner and no amount of prodding or jiggling about would move it for the photo! So our scan pic has been named "The Faceplant"

And it's a GIRL :)

We are absolutely over the moon

After the scan we went and did some shopping. We found these in a sale so decided to use them for a "gender reveal picture" :)

After that we went the park where DH tried
failed to fly a kite. We played aerobie (like a rubbery hoop frisbee) DH threw it to me and it bounced off my belly (more my ribs really) it didn't hurt and I just giggled, but DH proper panicked and ran over thinking he'd hurt Bubble. Bless him

Lovely pics, Catface

I am looking forward to my scan on the 29th. We don't want to know the gender but as DP is a doctor I'm a bit worried that he might spot things even without being shown them. He was pointing out the heart chambers at the 13 week scan. He may just have to close his eyes throughout.

I've managed to get into an antenatal yoga class from next week, along with a friend who is 10 weeks ahead of me. Is anyone else doing yoga at this stage? I hope it won't hurt my sore hips (and will even improve them!)

LisaC2611 · 19/07/2014 07:38

Fab news miraculous. So pleased to hear everything is staying positive and your babies are true fighters.

I went to the docs yesterday and he said that my numb leg was probably where the baby is lying on a sciatic nerve. While there he also did a urine dip which didn't show anymore traces of blood so whatever has been going on has hopefully now disappeared.

20 week scan in Tuesday Grin and 20 weeks today. Half way there!!

oohdaddypig · 19/07/2014 08:03

Fab news on all these scans!

miraculous I'm delighted your little fighters are still doing exactly that.

catface congrats on your scan. I love love love that you chose a beautiful blue dress.... It's gorgeous.

taura I bleat on like a broken record about yoga. But personally I think it's very beneficial. I do it regularly - my first pregnancy was my worst for aches (so far) when I did none... Hope you enjoy the class... I can't really get out to classes now but also enjoyed the Tara lee antenatal yoga DVD last time round.

shanels huge congrats on your scan

Still cleaning up lots of poo here yuk. Whole house has had the tummy bug - even the flipping dog. I normally don't get sick but it really knocked me and thought I was going to faint at work.

I too have a high anterior placenta. Did with number two as well. First time was posterior - it makes a HUGE difference to movements based on my experience. All the way through.

Had my first nosebleed yesterday. Third pregnancy - first time this has ever happened! Bizarre.

18 plus 4...
